Been so busy it’s taken me a while to get this review in but I have a dentist appointment soon and I want to get on his good side. I only kid but seriously, Dr. Yang and Dr. Jeng are awesome. Where do I begin? A vast majority will agree that going to the dentist sucks, but Dr. Yang and Dr. Jeng make it a point to make it as painless as possible in every way. Both of them take the time to explain what’s going on, listen to your concerns, and are super friendly. Dr. Yang will chat with you almost the entire time about anything and everything which is cool cause it makes it easier to forget why you’re there in the first place. An added bonus/ reason why my dentist is cooler than yours is when Dr. Yang stole my foursquare mayorship of his office, he felt bad and gave me an awesome sonicare toothbrush! sweet deal! They never leave you hanging in the freebies dept, I love the sample toothpaste for traveling but I digress. All in all, if you’re looking for a reliable but also personable dentist, Dr. Yang is the guy for you.

They are extremely detail oriented, customer friendly and very skillful. I have lived in SF for 18 yrs and have not had the best luck with dentists. I was recently experiencing some discomfort and knew that I had to have it checked. Called the oral surgeon who had some some work for me and they recommended Dr. Yang’s practice. I called on a Friday morning and set up and appointment for the following Monday morning. My wait was brief and I was introduced to Dr. Joanne Jeng who spent the next 1.5 hrs with me. She was fantastic. Turns out that the discomfort I was having was nothing serious. I got a thorough checkup with xrays. We went through the xrays together and she pointed out some potential future problem spots. Very little discomfort with the cleaning and afterwards, my teeth felt great. It had been a while since I had seen a regular dentist but I am happy to say that Dr. Jeng is now my regular dentist. I was grateful to get in so quickly and am happy to now be a regular patient.

I am really happy to have been introduced to Dr. Yang and Dr. Jeng, husband and wife team, by my previous dentist before his retirement. They are of the right age; young enough to have been trained in the latest dental best practices and old enough to be experienced in the field. This manifests in their well-managed dental offices, with state-of-the-art equipment and a competent and friendly staff. As I get older, dental issues become chronic. What I particularly like is the responsiveness and excellent proactive care that I have been receiving from Dr. Yang and more recently from Dr. Jeng. I was initially referred to Dr. Yang’s dental office through a friend and boy, am I glad I took my friend’s advice! Dr. Yang and Dr. Jeng are 2 of the nicest and most professional dentists that you’ll ever meet. Like most people out there, I never liked going to the dentist, but each and every time I visit Dr. Yang’s office, its an enjoyable experience and I always leave with a clean, minty fresh set of teeth. Dr. Yang is a friendly guy and we always end up chatting about cars, movies, technology, companies, and other miscellaneous topics. Before any procedure, he always takes the time to explain everything to you and asks if you have any questions before and after the procedure. He truly cares for his patients and he’s definitely an honest person. (i.e. he won’t recommend services/procedures that you don’t really need) On top of that, I always leave his office with lots of little freebies and of course, a smile on my face. Love both Dr. Yang and Dr. Jeng. Professional, caring and personable. They are young, but very knowledgeable. I’ve been with Dr. Chu for over 10 years. Awesome. Both Dr. Yang and Dr. Jeng are really nice dentists.  Going to the dentist can be nerve wrecking for everyone.  So I thought I would be a nerd and call 1-800-dentists to get a good recommendation for a dentist.  Boy did I ever! I hadn’t been to a dentist in over a year so I was nervous!  After the cleaning, it was like a manicure in my mouth (though I don’t have my bejewled tooth anymore, that is so 2006). Neither of them have said any judgemental comments which i think everyone is nervous about when the dentist is in your mouth.  Instead they are super sweet and honest. For instance, I asked Dr. Jeng about Zoom Whitening and she said for me, it would kinda be a waste of money as the difference would not be very noticeable.  I love when people try to save me money! Another awesome thing is that they are open on Saturdays which helps. Go to them.  They rock!
