I cannot say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jones and just everyone at Navy Yard Dental!!! They have always found time to accommodate me and put me at COMPLETE ease. For many people, the dentist can be a dreaded experience. But with Dr. Jones and the Navy Yard Dental staff… you are immediately put at ease. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Dr. Jones and his team at Navy Yard Dental are the best of the best! I was very anxious about my appointment but from the second I walked into the office I was treated with respect & kindness. Dr. Jones and his team are true professionals who care about their patients. On top of the stellar service, the office is beautiful and they use state of the art equipment. I highly recommend Navy Yard Dental to anyone looking for the best dental experience possible!

I love Navy Yard Dental!!! I’ve had horrible experiences since my childhood but Dr. Jones has a warm, relaxing environment to ease my nerves. Dr. Jones and his staff has always been welcome. He’s not a dentist that just wants your money. He make you’re your happy and satisfied with the work done. I definitely would recommend him.

Emma L. from Washington, DC (Source: Yelp)

I can’t say enough nice things about Navy Yard Dental! Their whole team has been so friendly, communicative, and helpful during my process of becoming a new patient and coming for a cleaning and a separate filling. The Dr. and the hygienists were both very sweet and patient while I was nervous and required some extra time during my appointments in order to feel comfortable. I also appreciate that they did not try to push sales of any unnecessary products, or pass any judgement based on the state of my teeth. (My last dentist constantly asked when I would get Invisalign.) If I move out of the neighborhood I will continue to come here because I have found the best dentist for me!

Chad Jones came highly recommended to me, and this practice has always surpassed my expectations. Previously they were in-network for my insurance, but they’re not anymore. This has not been a problem in the least because they send my insurance a bill quickly every single time, and my insurance reimburses me. They let me know prior to the appointment how much I will need to pay, and they provide a detailed itemized receipt that makes it simple for me to get reimbursed. I appreciate how quickly they do this because it’s not something that happens seamlessly at every healthcare provider. This practice is clean and safe, and the staff are always conscious of my gum sensitivity. At other dental offices the hygienists will always make me bleed, no matter how much I’m flossing. That’s not the case here, which is so nice. The average person might not notice how up-to-date their equipment technology is, but this stands out to me as someone with dental/oral specialists in the family. Overall, this place is excellent, and I’ll continue to keep coming back here.

I have been a patient at Navy Yard Dental for a year now . Every appointment that I have experienced was great . The staff is very professional. I am always seen promptly. Dr. Jones is great. He is the only dentist that I have had that does not discomfort my mouth . He is very gentle. I commute from 45 minutes away but I do not  mind . They are worth the drive .

After not going to the dentist in far too long a time, I was admittedly nervous to get a checkup/cleaning because of what I might need done (multiple fillings, root canal, etc.). Dr. Jones and his team quickly put me at easy and had me in and out in no time. I couldn’t have asked for a better dental experience, even considering I had to get a couple of fillings. Even that was a seamless process and incredibly quick. Certainly a difference from the old, crowded and uncomfortable dentist experiences of my childhood. For anyone who works on Capitol Hill or in Navy Yard, or who lives in the Navy Yard or Waterfront neighborhood, this should be your new dentist.

I couldn’t provide a higher recommendation for Navy Yard Dental. From the check-in with Nad to the cleaning with Dave to the exam with Dr. Jones, I felt very comfortable and welcomed for my entire appointment. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, did a fantastic job, and took their time to ensure it was done the right way. Will be coming here from here on out!

Dr. Chad Jones and his wonderful staff showed me nothing but outstanding professional and courteous service. Dr. Jones took the time to answer ALL my questions about my oral care. He went out of his way to make sure that my needs and wants were included in the best options for my overall oral care. I would be referring Dr. Jones to anyone who needs the best Dentist within the District of Columbia.

I had an excellent experience with Navy Yard Dental. I have been looking for a dentist in DC for awhile and this one popped up right near my house! Not only was this practice convenient, everyone was incredibly nice! I walked in, waited for maybe only 7-10 minutes and was immediately brought back. All the staff was friendly, office was nice, and it was exciting to be a part of someone’s first practice as one of their first customers. Highly recommend!

Doctor was easy to talk and know what the problem was and took care of the problem quickly. Staff was friendly and really attentive a great place to get your tooth problems taken care of. Great place to explore not just in the office but around as well. If you have a tooth problem or look for a dentist look no further than navy yard dental

A little hard to find but such a gem. Make sure you turn down the alley on half street to get to the entrance. Staff was friendly and professional. All the equipment seemed brand new and state of the art compared to my last dentist. I went for a routine cleaning and she really took her time and educated me about my teeth. Great experience.

Like many people living in DC, I moved for work and had the daunting task of finding a new dentist. I am so glad I found Navy Yard Dental! Dr. Jones is the absolute best! First and foremost, I can tell he truly cares about your health and is very honest about your treatment options. He’s extremely knowledgable and the entire experience was very comfortable and pain-free. The office is beautifully decorated, welcoming, and clean. I received a routine cleaning and X-rays done for a reasonable price. Navy Yard Dental offers veneers so I’m excited to finally get them done by Dr. Jones!

Chaina Simone (Source: Facebook)

Dr. Jones is an amazing dentist! His conservative approach to treatment planning helped me regain a healthy smile! He also does a great job of explaining the different procedures and provides visuals so you can actually see the process and health benefits. I definitely recommend Navy Yard Dental if you’re looking for a family friendly dental office in the DC area.

Nothing but good things to say about the the office, staff, and the overall visit! I was able to be seen on short notice and schedule follow up work quickly as well. Everyone was extremely courteous and took their time to ensure I was informed and comfortable. Haven’t been to the dentist in probably 5 yrs and received 0 shame, so that was nice :). Glad they’re in the neighborhood!

Didn’t have to wait and the staff was all very friendly. Equipment was modern compared to my last dentist and everyone was skilled. Dr Jones had great bedside manner and was very knowledgeable. This was my first visit after needing a new dentist and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Melissa M. (Source: Zocdoc)

I am very pleased with my visit to Dr. Jones, my wait time was about 1-2 minutes (only because I had to provide my ID and insurance card). Dr. Jones and his staff were very professional and for once in my life, I felt that I had a say so in my dental treatment. Dr. Jones explained things to me in layman’s term and I was presented with different options for my treatment. The office was clean, bright and comfortable and welcoming

This office runs like a well-oiled machine, exhibiting professionalism and outstanding dental services. I felt the friendliness and enthusiasm from Dr. Jones and the staff as soon as I walked in the door. I was warmly greeted by the staff and instantly checked in. I observed Dr. Jones orchestrate the completion of my case with expertise and efficiency from the beginning to the end. I admired the camraderie and diversity among the staff, their youthful energy, and how well they worked together. The atmosphere in the office was so invigorating. I left feeling spry, on top of the world, and extremely happy and satisfied with my youthful smile once again.

Candace F. from Northwest Washington, Washington, DC (Source: Yelp)

This was my first dentist appointment in years, and I entered with low expectations based on previous experiences. Dr. Jones was warm, forthright and knowledgeable, and eased my anxiety by showing me my scans and talking through his reasoning. I felt included in the decision-making process, and he helped me get an appointment with a referred dentist for my root canal that same day. I will definitely be back.

Gina D. from Kernersville, NC (Source: Yelp)

After just moving to DC I needed to find a dentist and wanted to find one in my community.  I’m beyond grateful to have found Dr. Chad Jones at Navy Yard Dental. Dr. Jones is genuine and professional. He filled my chipped front tooth and it looks fabulous. It can be worrisome when it’s your front tooth but he did a flawless job! I can’t speak highly enough for them getting me into the office after making an appointment online the night prior. He and his sweet staff make a great team! My husband and I will be going back for all our dental needs.

Cassandra M. from Washington, DC (Source: Yelp)

By chance I decided to try this dental office after a bad experience with a dentist I have been going to for the past year. I am so glad I kept the postcard that Navy Dental sent out. Excellent customer service and excellent service. I had to get a deep cleaning wasn’t looking forward to the shots but who knew they had a numbing rinse that does the same thing. I was so pleased that I made another appointment to come back.

I’ve been going here for a few years now, and this office has always provided excellent service. They’re proactive communicators – I really appreciate the the text messages and email reminders, and also when they let me know if there are any additional fees my insurance won’t pick up. I’m moving later this month and really not looking forward to replacing Dr. Jones!

Anyone looking for a new dentist near Capitol Hill, this is your guy! I hated my old dentist, and was advised to try Navy Yard Dental. Dr. Jones is really patient & knowledgeable, the office is brand new and super clean (COVID protocols are on point, per my Physician wife), and the staff is friendly & efficient. Thanks for taking good care of us, Doc!

I just completed the first of a two-part surgical procedure by Dr. Jones. Although mildly sedated, I did not experience any pain or discomfort. The area is healing properly and I am preparing for the next step. He explained the process in advance, what to expect and how to manage. Great service and care.

I’ve been to a number of dentists in the DC area and this has been my best experience to date. I have very sensitive teeth and explained this to Dr. Jones before my cleaning. He was very patient and also offered some advice to help with the sensitivity. His staff was very friendly and professional. Thanks again!

Update 2020 Hi Not writing this out of spite or hurt, but correcting a gross oversight! I am sad to say that this dentist did not do a great job after all. As I had previously written of him in 2019. I know many of you read my initial first and only review of this place. (I only got informed today in 2020 that it got over 1000 views) Yeah I was excited because I thought in 2019 this was a really good establishment. But it turned out to be the opposite. I could say it was a insurance issue, but it REALLY wasn’t. This establishment ending up not only NOT completing the work promised to be done, but also failed to do what the Department of Health and Dental Society and my insurance asked him to do to correct his mistake. Then to add salt to the wound, this dentist got rid of me like I was the plaque. I later found out why to my dismay. To know someone caused unnecessary harm to your physical well being is inexcusable and unprofessional. After going back and forth between this establishment and the medical boards and insurance, on their advice I was told NO DO NOT GO BACK TO THIS DENTIST, we will handle it from here. They were also disturbed that the 1 thing they asked him to do, he would not comply. I was really hurt this establishment got rid of me so quickly. As a former patient, I can’t recommend this place in good conscious, knowing someone else might get hurt. It was only AFTER my experience did I see the OTHER BAD reviews about this establishment. But not based on that alone. I ended up having to talk to some government authorities that govern the practices of these professionals. They were really bothered this establishment would not follow through or correct the damage done as well. Although my initial few visits for cleaning and a cracked tooth were taken care of in 2019. The last procedure in later 2019, that this dentist started did not only NOT go well. But will cause harm to me physically because of HOW this establishment did what they did. I advise anyone else using my 2019 review as a gage to go here, please do your research and homework before allowing anyone to perform ANY type of surgery on you. One Department Head (Who is a doctor and director in this field) in DC government told me on the phone, “BEFORE a DENTIST or DOCTOR TOUCHES YOU, GO TO YOUTUBE and WATCH” the procedure to see how it should be done correctly, then decide if you want it done. And Yeah this professional at Navy Yard did nowhere near what I saw in the video for the failed procedure he botched on me. So I am in for pain with my next dentist because of the negligent mistakes this dentist put upon me knowingly. The Department head I talked too apologised but led me through the next phase to assure this is something that hopefully will never happen to another unsuspecting person.. I can’t say my experience was great here anymore, it was hurtful. And. Nice doesn’t always mean, they have your best interest at heart. I have forgiven this dentist, his life is in God’s hands and God sees all. The harm you do to someone is never overlooked by God. I am a firm believer and woman of faith. I have no ill will or malice towards this dentist, but I don’t advise anyone BASED ON MY review from 2019 to use that as a GAGE. to go to this establishment. What you do from here is your business. I came to right a wrong and put out the correct review. Romans 12:18-20 God Bless

I had a great first experience at NYD. I have had the same dentist for years – great guy – in Virginia. I’ve lived in the navy yard for 10 years and would still ride out to Virginia for my dentist – it’s that important, right? These are your teeth! But a few weeks ago, I broke the cap off my front tooth and needed some help quickly. My dentist in Virginia couldn’t/wouldn’t fit me in. So I called NYD sight unseen and Dr. Jones told me to come in ASAP and he would help me out. I immediately liked him as he has a very calm and confident personality. He answered all my questions, fitted me for a crown and in the meantime, put a temporary on. The temporary lasted for the two weeks while I waited for my crown to come in. I just went today and the crown was perfect. It fit like a glove and the color matching is right on. I’m happy with the work and very relieved. I also had a cleaning which was fast and easy. The staff are great as well. Very welcoming and skilled. The offices are new and clean. The insurance/billing was seamless. I’ve had a few crowns done prior to this one and I can say all was as expected. A great experience and I can recommend them for routine work as well as more cosmetic/repair work. I can say I will not be making that drive out to Virginia anymore.

I just recently moved to DC & I began having excruciating tooth pain on my lunch break. I began my Google search & there I found Navy Yard Dental. I was very impressed by all the wonderful reviews so I decided to see if they would be able to squeeze me in & they did! I was informed to complete my forms online, my insurance was accepted & his office is conveniently located on top of the Navy Yard Metro (Green line). As soon as, I walked in I was greeted by great & knowledgeable staff gave them my ID & insurance. The office is beautiful & he has all state of the art technology. The assistants were also wonderful. Dr. Jones has THE greatest bedside manner, he explained to me his findings, we discussed my dental goals & gave me a treatment plan. He was so gentle as he extracted my tooth, I didn’t feel anything. So, if you are in need of a dental home this is it. A hidden gem in the Navy Yard!

Loved my experience at Navy Yard Dental! As soon as I walked in I felt right at home as the waiting area is quite comfortable and the office is in pristine condition. As someone who doesn’t go to the dentist as often as I should, I definitely chose right when booking with Navy Yard Dental. Dr. Jones has superb bedside manner and is very helpful with answering questions about your brushing routine and overall care of your teeth. It is always refreshing to experience top tier customer service. I look forward to my next appointment.

Fabulous new practice in Navy Yard – as of May 2018, the only general dentist in that neighborhood. Dr. Jones was very considerate during the cleaning, attentive to any discomfort. Great space, everything is new and super clean. The staff were all very friendly – warm and professional. Highly recommend!

I decided to right my review after several visit to the office. Dr. Chad, and the whole team (dental hygienist, assistances, and front office staff) were very welcoming and efficient! The hygienist did an AMAZING job making me feel comfortable during my teeth cleaning and other dental services. Dr. Chad’s examination and consultation was very informative to ensure I had a comprehensive understanding of the service being performed. Amazing dental practice; would definitely recommend.
