Dr. Barkhodari is great. I went to her initially because I bought a Groupon and was so pleased that I have become a regular patient (even though I now live outside the city). She is very professional, friendly and honest. Her staff and facility are also very nice and welcoming. I have found it pretty easy to schedule appointments and everytime I show up I am in the exam chair within 10 minutes. As far as dental work specifically, I have had several regular check-ups and one filling and have been very pleased with everything. I would definitely recommend Dr. Barkhodari.

Dr. Barkhodari and staff are truly incredible! They are always doing whatever it takes to make sure you are happy and comfortable. They never rush you and always give you the time to discuss and ask questions about preventative care, treatments, etc. It’s always patient first, never make you feel bad about what you haven’t done right or try to push unnecessary treatment/care. They have the latest state of the art technology and equipment and the view from the chair is amazing (Golden Gate Bridge). Dr. Barkhodari also remember details about your personal life/fam and always asks about my son. I consider her not only my dentist but a friend. Most importantly, I never leave there in pain 😉 It’s really hard to find a good doctor/dentist in this city, but you really can’t go wrong here. I wouldn’t take my family anywhere else.

Beautiful office, friendly staff and great dentist! We’ve been going to Dr. Barkhodari for a few years and couldn’t be happier. She is honest, knowledgeable and professional and so is her staff. My family wouldn’t go anywhere else. No one likes going to the dentist but somehow she makes it a pleasant experience!

Dr. Barkhodari is smart, professional and cordial. She’s a pleasure to be around as well. She remembers my name and what we talked about last time, not that this is important but it makes me feel relaxed and cared for. Dr. Barkhodari is also an excellent dentist. She doesn’t attempt to scare or frighten me into good habits, she simply is honest and straightforward about my dental hygiene and health. Her staff are pleasant, timely and professional as well as excellent at what they do. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience and I have to say that’s a rare thing for a dentist. I came to Dr. Barkhodari via Groupon and am pleasantly surprised to say she has become my current dentist.

I visited Dr. Barkhodari as my wife had been seeing her for the last several months. Switching dentists can be difficult but I felt like this was the smoothest transition that I’ve had. I really enjoyed everyone who worked on my teeth yesterday, they were all very sweet… despite learning that I have another cavity, ugh. She is conveniently located one block from my house and I will most certainly be going here for the foreseeable future based on my experience yesterday.

I went to Dr. Barkhodari to get a second opinion from another dentist that left me feeling rushed and with unanswered questions. Dr. Barkhodari was thorough in her explanation and set my mind at east. She explained my options for fillings, and I ended up switching to her to have the fillings done and made her my regular dentist. Her staff are wonderful and very professional. Karen always greets me with a smile. Their SMS reminder service is very helpful and quite frankly just kinda cool 🙂 I highly recommend Dr. Barkhodari and all her staff.

I haven’t been to an up to date facility, so coming here I was in total awe. They were very fast in checking patients in and thorough when it comes to checking first time clients. The view for each chair is very breath taking, especially for people who get nervous going in for a dental check up. Two thumbs up for the excellent service Dr. Barkhodari!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Barkhodari for two years now, and I cannot say enough good things about her. She and her staff are friendly, professional, and skilled. She is also honest. In the past I have had dentists who were all about the up-sale. Not Barkhodari. If she recommends a procedure or treatment, rest assured: it is necessary. I will not always live in San Francisco, but I could see myself visiting periodically just so that I would able to retain Dr. Barkhodari as my dentist. I rarely post Yelp reviews, but decided to do so in this case in order to express just how much I appreciate her services.

Well, I was way overdo for a visit to the dentist and I wanted to choose a good one near my office because I knew I’d be back frequently. I did a search for a Delta Dental dentist in the Cow Hollow area and found Dr, Barkhodari. I immediately checked her reviews on Yelp and found her to be legit, so I booked. I have to say I was very impressed when I entered her office: nice wood floors, contemporary design, open lay out (I could see the immaculate rooms with dental chairs that faced the Gold Gate Bridge). Great first impression. It was even better when Jan, the super-nice office manager, escorted me to a computer to fill out my new patient paperwork (us Yelpers can appreciate these small technological advances). The doctor did just about everything, which I find to be rare these days. She looked at my x-rays, did a thorough exam where she noticed little things and made recommendations (retainer here, wisdom-tooth extraction there) and explained why that would benefit me but by no means pressured me into doing anything. Then SHE did my cleaning… being very conscientious of my sensitivities but also not letting me be a baby and getting it done. I have to say many dentists will let things slide (like that little cavity that was developing in my last x-ray in 07 that is now a big cavity), but Dr. Barkhodari does not seem like that type. She could even commiserate with some of my issues because she had the same dental experiences. A dentist that doesn’t have perfect teeth! I love it! All in all, I was as happy as someone who dislikes the dentist could be and I signed up for more before I left!
