Got 3 cavities filled in 1 go. Dr. Chiou was really thorough and answered all my questions fully! Super nice dentist. He said he’s really careful, and I agree!! My fillings feel a lot better than my previoua ones (I can wear my retainer over these new ones). I previously got a cleaning here, and Dr. Chiou and his team also answered all my questions then too. And they are very responsive over email. It takes me 50 minutes to get here from Boston, and it’s worth the trip!!!

I left a 5 star review 2 years ago, and feel the need to update this, with another 5 star. I have never left a review for anybody, ever, but Dr. Brendon Chiou is absolutely fantastic. The overall office is very friendly and professional, and he explains everything. They are extremely responsive and his responses are always thoughtful. Also completely honest and trustworthy (during some work they said they would make a decision to do some additional work on a neighboring tooth during the procedure, and when they would see it better they saw it was fine and told me I didn’t need the extra work). I’m a little worried every time I go to the dentist, but Dr. Chiou is clearly both an expert and truly looks out for his patients. If you are looking for a dentist anywhere remotely close to Boston, this is the one.

I fractured a tooth and was in excruciating pain. I was referred to Newton Dental Group by my coworkers, who raved about their experiences. I was skeptical at first but was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Brendon Chiou and his entire staff are genuinely friendly, very professional, and excellent at communicating. They listen to your concerns, answer any questions, and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in their field. This is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been too. I usually hate the dentist but the office is gorgeous and modern, all the staff is super nice and they remember all details about you and your life which makes a big difference. Dr. Chiu is one of the nicest doctors I’ve ever been to. He’s super honest and kind. Highly recommend for a dentist.

Dr. Chiou and all of the staff at Newton Dental Group are outstanding. I asked for an emergency appointment as a new patient and was taken that day to ensure I wasn’t in any pain. Subsequently, I’ve had 2 fillings and been fitted for a night guard. Before my appointment, they processed the procedures through my insurance and mailed me a detailed potential bill to ensure that I was aware of how much the procedure would cost and that I was comfortable with it before receiving treatment. I received texts and emails alerting me of my upcoming appointment– complete with a link to add to my calendar. Very modern and efficient practice. They’re kind and compassionate listening to your concerns and explaining everything in depth. The procedures were so quick and painless that I didn’t even realize they were over. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable and give you the best care. I would recommend to anyone.

Everyone at the Newton Dental Group was incredibly nice and friendly and helpful. Between the ladies at the front desk and Dr. Chiou introducing himself, my appointment was off to a great start. The hygienist was very gentle but thorough. Dr. Chiou went over my x-rays and answered all of my questions, without making me feel rushed at all. I just made my crowns for my front upper and lower teeth: 16 in total (8 upper and 8 lower jaw). They look and feel amazing! I was absolutely happy that all the job was done in just two visits. Dr. Chiou was working on me continuously for 9 hours each visit! He performed wonderful job on me, and I can say he is a real artist in his field. Dr. Chiou is 100% deserving of being awarded Boston’s Top Dentist of 2017. He and his staff are incredibly kind and warm and made me feel right at home. I’m picky about who I allow to work on my teeth, so I came to Newton Dental for a second opinion. Needless to say, I won’t be going elsewhere for my care. Dr. Chiou took time to review each x-ray and to ensure I understood my diagnoses and treatment plan. He clearly cares about his patients being comfortable. Dr. Chiou and his staff at Newton Dental Group are amazing! After having several bad experiences with other dentist over the years I had actually developed a fear of going to the dentist but that is no longer the case and I owe that to Dr. Chiou. Since I have been going to Dr. Chiou (almost 2 years now) I have had a series of work done including a root a canal and crown and I can truly say I do not have one complaint about how the procedures went. Dr. Chiou takes his time, listens and is extremely patient. I can now say I actually do not mind going to the dentist. I am excited to be getting the work needed on my teeth by someone who is highly qualified and excellent at what he does. This place makes something as awful as being poked in the mouth with sharp object, almost pleasant! Dr. Chiou should be awarded the best dentist in Boston. I got to Boston 7 years ago, and switched a couple of dentist, they were alright but as dentist go, painful. Dr. Chiou explains every procedure he is doing before hand, and watches every sign of pain during the procedure to make sure you have minimal pain. Takes a while to get an appointment for cleaning, but that’s normal considering how good (from the receptionist, to Dr. Chiou) the whole team is very professional, and good at what they do.

Wow what a great place with super friendly staff and brand new, clean equipment. From the outside the building looks rather bland but when you get to the office inside it’s brand new and classy. Wow, this is a great practice! Was time to find a new dentist after moving to the area, and very happy I found this one– Entire office was was super friendly and helpful, welcoming me to the practice and showing me where I could park nearby. After my dentist of 25 years retired, it took 2 years of research to find a practice that truly was the unique blend of friendly, caring and exceptionally qualified.
