I have been going to Dr. Malik for almost three years now.  I had not seen a dentist for some time before finding her on yelp, and setting up my first visit. Dr. Malik has done a great job on over the past couple of years helping with all my dental needs. I have lived in LA and NYC and she has been great in fitting me in on my trips home to PA. She even missed a train herself just to fit me in at the end of a Saturday! I highly recommend Dr. Malik for anyone searching for a dentist.

I strongly recommend Dr. Malik Shireen DDS. To date she has done two crowns, a cavity, and wisdom tooth removal. Each procedure was quick and painless. I suffer from EXTREMELY sensitive teeth and have a hard time responding to the numbing agent but she has worked magic to make each visit painless for me. She has helped me overcome my fear of the dentist, next week I get a root canal and I would not trust anyone other than her to do it. Thank you so much!

Amazing Dentist. My teeth were in a mess before I met Dr Shireen, tooth extraction, cavities, root canal…. I needed it all. Dr Shireen B Malik is the best dentist I’ve ever had and also the most knowledgeable. She gives the best treatment plan and truly cares about her patients. She is polite and very efficient at her work, she recommend me a suitable and affordable treatment plan. I cannot not stop looking at my teeth in the mirror ….. They just look amazing. The staff at NCDC is very polite and helpful and I was only billed for treatment that was not covered by my insurance. Thank You Dr Shireen and NCDC staff… I am smiling because of you 🙂

I moved to Philly about 2 years ago and I was looking for a dentist. I was nervous about starting with a new dentist so I read a lot of reviews and heard good things about Nicholas Cosmetic Dental. The reviews were very accurate. I love the cleanliness and professionalism I feel when I enter the office and Dr. Malik is wonderful! I am an anxious person when it comes to doctors and Dr. Malik has been very accommodating! I would strongly recommend this for anyone new to the area that is looking for a dentist. Or anyone old to the area!

I recently scheduled an appointment with Dr. Shireen.., she is fabulous and one of the best dental experiences I have had. Dr. Shireen was very kind, patient and explained to me everything in detail and has an amazing steady hand. I had a root canal done on my second trip and I was extremely scared but Dr. Malik was very capable and like my own daughter would explained to me, in every bit detail, what she was doing..I felt completely comfortable I did a follow-up visit to do my crowns and it was a similar experience, you are greeted with a warm smile, the office is clean, the location is perfect, and the front desk is absolutely wonderful, they explained to me exactly what my insurance (ATENA) covered and what I was expected to pay and I got a bill as exactly as it was explained to me. On the other hand, you have to be a rocket scientist to understand what your insurance/HMO covers and not..gladly NCDC front desk were exceptional and helped me understand what Atena was covering for me. I have been thru countless other dentist and each one I felt was trying to up-sell me, it felt like i was going to a used car deal, not so at NCDC, Dr. Malik took the time to explain what i need, why I needed and when it should be done. She even told me I dont expensive procedures that other dental office were trying to pitch..All I can say is that visiting NCDC was like visiting a family dentist, I felt i was in the hands of my daughter!

After 7 years of cowering away from dental exams due to childhood psychological trauma, I’ve finally found “the best.” As a medical professional myself, I am aware of the impact first impressions can have at medical facilities. You are greeted with warm personalities the moment you enter the office. The patient care assistance at the front desk is absolutely wonderful and patient, Dr. Shireen Malik is a godsend. Never have I met such a patient and understanding professional who makes sure all areas are covered. The office is extremely accomidating and efficient, also the weekend hours are extremely convenient. This office has definitely enabled me to trust in a professional environment that is critical to one’s own health which is oftentimes feared and overlooked. If you’ve cowered away from dental examinations as I’ve done, I encourage you to be seen at NCDC and have your fears washed away with exellency.

Awesome staff, awesome doctor, awesome service. Super gentle, friendly, and a great listener. Dr. Malik listened to my concerns and helped me feel at ease when I left that I looked better then I did walking in. Within one cleaning, I already feel a healthier smile and understand the importance of good dental hygiene. thanks NCDC! 🙂

Excellent experience for my first time. Great atmosphere, very nice employees and the most important, I had a pleasant experience for a dentists office. I have super sensitive teeth and Malik was wonderful and very accommodating and took it slow without the water/air rinse on while cleaning. I booked my two cavities to be filled in two weeks and made an appointment for my 4 year old to get her first check up.

I have been seeing Dr Malik for about 3 years now and I am happy with her work. The office is very clean and bright. She is upfront with what is going on with my teeth and what might be coming up on my horizon. They are gentle when it comes to cleaning and dental work. I had my first cavity filled there and the procedure was easy and mostly painless (I mean as painless as something like that can be). I’m happy with the service.

Dr. Malik is a thoughtful, patient and thorough caregiver who helped dig me out of years of neglect of my teeth. She can also work incredibly fast, which is great for those of us with some trepidation about the dentist. And while it’s a small thing, the fact that she answers the phone herself and schedules her own appointments is such a rare and welcome touch of contact with a person who, after all, you’re trusting with your comfort and health!

Dr. Malik is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. She’s attentive and non judgmental which I appreciate. The first time she gave me a shot, I got light headed from it (this happens to me a lot) and she stopped and held my hand and let me calm down. I appreciated her caring so much about my well being. I also like that she does most of the work herself instead of having an assistant do the work. She’s a great dentist and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

I’ve been to a lot of dentists in my life and none of them can compare to Dr. Malik. I’ve been going to Dr. Malik’s office for over a year, and she is consistently kind, patient, and will take the time to explain every step of a procedure. Dr. Malik also re-did my veneers last December and I could not be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Malik!!

I have been going to Dr. Malik for almost 2 years now and it literally has been the best and most smoothest process that I have ever had at a dental office. She is very quick to accommodate you and explains in detail of whatever procedure she recommends for you. The staff is very courteous, its a very clean and quiet place to be, and you never have to wait long before being seen. I’ve just finished my Invisalign’s two days ago and the results has been fantastic! Please consider this place for your dental needs because you just can’t go wrong here:)

Hadn’t been to the dentist since High School and made an appointment here. It turns out I had to get tooth extracted and some other work done and it was a very pleasant experience. The receptionists were all very friendly and Dr. Malik was very professional and knowledgeable.

Have been coming to this office for over a year and the staff have been super professional and completely nice throughout all cleanings and even a tooth extraction. This can easily become your family dentist or your go to people.

I recently moved to Philadelphia from Toronto, Canada. A few weeks ago, I experienced some tooth pain and knew I had to go in to see a dentist. I did a lot of research and came across Dr. Malik on Google. Based on the positive reviews, I decided to go into see her. I was still fairly nervous about seeing a new dentist, specially during COVID. However, my experience with Dr.Malik was nothing short of stellar. She immediately took me in as I was in a lot of pain and was able to diagnose/treat my tooth. More importantly, her staff did a great job of ensuring they followed through with safety protocols for the pandemic. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and will continue to visit Dr.Malik for any future dental emergencies and maintenance work.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Malik for almost a year now and she and her staff have been nothing short of amazing. We’ve had regular cleanings, cavity fillings, minor cosmetic work and most recently, I started the dental implant process. All procedures were thoroughly explained and virtually painless. The office is also very clean and stylish. Great music too. I would definitely recommend !

I wanted to write about Dr. Shireen Malik as she has been my Dentist for the past several years. She is absolutely fabulous! She is polite and very detailed in her treatment. She explains everything to you and is highly skilled at her work. I was very unhappy with my smile as I had crooked front teeth, and I would never smile in a picture for the longest time I remember – All my pictures are without a smile because I was so conscious of my smile. Well not anymore- I smile in every picture . She did front 4 Veneers for me and I have never been happier. She guided me to get Invisalign to first correct my alignment and then did beautiful Porcelain Veneers on my front teeth. She is a Magic Smile maker. Every girl wants to look beautiful she certainly made me look and feel beautiful and I am very grateful for that. Her office Nicholas Cosmetic Dental Center has a spa feel to it. It’s very modern and beautiful. You are greeted by warm friendly people who offer you amazing green tea and beverages (non-alcoholic) , it is a chic experience. They use very modern technology in the office from the Dental chairs to the paperwork. I enjoy visiting my Dentist.

WOW! I can’t begin to explain the level of care you receive at Nicholas Cosmetic. I had an appointment on Saturday with Dr. Malik and she is hands down the best Dentist I have ever seen. She was patient, careful and soooo caring. She gave me a cleaning and brought me back in today to do a deep cleaning and wisdom teeth extraction. From the receptionist(who is also Dr. Malik’s sister) to the dental assistant this whole office is one of comfort and friendliness. Oh and let’s not forget they are open late and on the weekends….yes you heard me correct the weekends!! Please please please if you are looking for a new dental office this is the one to go to, you won’t be disappointed I promise. I am finally able to go back to the Dentist w/o fear or worry. I went into Nicholas cosmetic dental center for some wisdom teeth pain. The location was easy to find, extra clean and they even provide you with a fresh mask and gloves to wear while you’re there. Dr Malik was so sweet as were the other associates at the office. I got a quick scan and Dr. Malik confirmed why I had pain and did a wisdom tooth extraction right away! It was pain free and the healing process was fast. I went in a week later for the other wisdom tooth. Same thing, excellent service and pain free. I have scheduled yet another appointment for a cleaning. This is the place to be if you need dental services!

I hadn’t gone to the dentist in many years. I was scared but now I go almost every week to take care of all the problems I caused by not going. Almost done! I like it here. It is really calming and hardly hurts at all. I highly recommend visiting, especially if it has been a while!

Dr. Malik is the best dentist I have ever been to bar none. She is patient, calming and compassionate. She gave me back my smile and confidence and made the dentist experience almost enjoyable with her amazing bedside manner and gentle nature. The work speaks for itself. I would never trust anyone else to touch my teeth!
