With two children in braces, I was prepared for the worst. I am beyond pleased that Dr. Nicholas not only is reasonably priced, but an excellent Orthodontist. From the beginning he was very meticulous in assessing the situation. He took the time to talk not only to us but to my two children. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. In addition, the facility itself is clean, inviting and puts the patient at ease. Both children (son and daughter) ended with great looking teeth. I was particularly impressed (more like floored) with the difference in my son since his teeth were very much in need of braces and adjusting. We have two more children that appear that they will need braces. We WILL most definitely good with Dr. Nicolas again.

I went to him for Invisalign which resulted in perfect teeth but today I went back for a second opinion on an NTI device my dentist had prescribed to me.. Dr. Nicolas assessed my teeth at no charge and gave me his professional opinion which was, as I suspected, that my dentist was trying to up-sell me and if I used the device my teeth could have really been messed up. If you have a lot of stomach to deal with the front desk that is extra rude! Than by all means go! He takes my insurance and I didn’t have a lot of choices… The Dr. does a good job but the front desk can get you worked up! I have never been treated so poorly at any Drs office like this one! They will be super rude with a smile on their face! I had to take time off to my father funeral and missed their calls, when I called she started saying that I didn’t want to answer and they had an issue with the insurance… and I’m trying to explain that I would look into it and her answer was: Not our problem you had issues and your father died!!!! OMG! Who says such thing!!!

My 11 year old son just had his braces taken off and we had the best experience with Dr. Nicolas and his staff. Dr. Nicolas is so professional, thorough and kind. I have already referred multiple people to him. We went for a few other consultations before meeting with Dr. Nicolas and I knew immediately that he was the right orthodontist for my son. His price was fair, he was more thorough with his exam than the other consultations and his plan was the least aggressive and made the most sense. Everything progressed exactly as he said it would. The other consults said he needed top and bottom braces or a palate expander, etc and Dr. Nicolas simply said he needed top braces and that his bite would adjust as his top teeth moved. Dr. Nicolas completed his undergraduate college education at the University of Delaware. He then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated, Magna Cum Laude, with his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Dr. Nicolas completed a General Practice Residency Program for one year at Wilmington Hospital and decided that orthodontics was his calling! Dr. Nicolas completed a two-year residency program in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nicolas, a perfectionist by birth, wanted to further his advanced training. He enrolled and completed a two-year advanced Orthodontics course and graduated from the prestigious, world-renown Roth Williams International Center in California. As a Roth Williams trained orthodontist, one of a mere 300 worldwide, Dr. Nicolas incorporates the Roth Williams philosophy of Functional Occlusion into his daily orthodontic treatment, to uphold his tradition of pursuing Excellence in orthodontics!
