I’ve been coming to this homespun friendly office on the 17th floor of the downtown Medical Arts Building for over 40 years.  Dr. Hoverson joined Dr. Uppgaard in the last year or so.  As much as I loved him (eight children, rode his bike to work every day, wry and witty sense of humor), Dr. Hoverson and her talented staff are equally good reasons to keep coming downtown, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.   I was impressed by Dr. Hoverson’s intelligent, careful, thorough exam, her patient explanation and illustration of what she found and her prudent approach to what dental work was needed.  Her quick wit and humor made the appointment go by quickly, even enjoyable!?  There’s a great warm vibe to the office that she promotes, and you can see it in all of her staff.  Terrific pandora soundtrack too — Reggae music my last visit, Madonna most recent, and requests taken.  Her dental hygienists are top notch, efficient, careful, and not shaming people like me who don’t floss regularly and need gentle prodding.  Great practice, terrific people–I recommend them to all my friends and family.

Dr. Hoverson and her staff are friendly and professional.. After going to the same dental office for a very long time I was pleasantly surprised with how thorough both the dentist and hygienist performed their jobs. The building this office is located in is beautiful and historic. I can’t say enough good things about this place and I will definitely be back.

As always they got me in right away, even with the limited appointments because of Covid. I needed to have a filling replaced and they moved their schedule around so I didn’t have to return another day and deal with a painful tooth. I felt totally safe and protected and highly recommend this dental practice.

Just had my first appointment at Nicollet Mall Dental Arts. The staff was so helpful and professional. Diana, Morgan and Dr. Hoverson were very friendly and efficient. The visit went very smooth and my teeth feel great after a thorough cleaning and check up. I will definitely be back for many years to come!

Haven’t seen a dentist for 8 months until now due to not having dental insurance before. And not having a good experience in the past I get dental anxiety easily. Despite my genetics predisposition to having dental problems. Have trouble sleep thinking about the appointment as I get nervous by needle pain. I know the dentist and staff are very friendly and caring. The exam was great and cleaning is well done. Highly recommend.

Dr. Hoverson is the best dentist i’ve ever been to! I had a cavity filled and it was the easiest and least stressful one i’ve ever experienced. I was very nervous and Dr. Hoverson was very good at keeping me distracted and not scared. I also had a fill on my front teeth to shape them better. She matched the color perfectly and they look great! It looks very natural and she made sure that I loved them! Dr. Hoverson is very good at what she does and she does a great job at keeping her patients calm.

I was in the market for a new dentist. Like a good Yelper, I logged in the Yelp! app, conducted a search and read through the reviews. Nicollet Mall Dental Arts sure has a positive fan base! It was easy to set up an appointment online and it didn’t take long to get in. Over the phone I admitted that that last dental check-up ended abruptly (I was in so much pain from the x-ray process that I got up and left). I was assured that the staff is exceptionally gentle, which was 100% on the mark. My comfort was their concern and I felt very relaxed in their expert care. Every step in the process was expertly executed and thoroughy explained to me. I left well-informed and completely satisfied with my visit. I cannot recommend this office more highly.
