It’s been over a year where I like most have been hiding half of our faces under masks due to COVID-19. Some masks cuter than others of course. I’m more utilitarian and sport the blue paper with the nose clip. But with the vaccine in arm, its time to get myself out there in public…it’s time for a major Dental Cleaning!! Thank goodness I’ve discovered Dr. Shor and her highly professional and capable staff!! My previous dentist has taken the pandemic as cue to retire leaving patients to seek new care. And Dr. Shor has more than prepared my smile for my mask reveal. My husband too has been well taken care of with long overdue dental care. We highly recommend this office! The individual care, concern and support will leave you with a smile on your face.

To put it simply and honestly, Dr. Shor is by far the BEST dentist I ever had ! North Babylon Dental is an office with one doctor and three technicians, All very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Shor has amazing hands – I did not feel any anesthesia shots and was very glad that the entire procedure took less than 20 minutes! She has some kind of a new technology machine for teeth X-ray – painless and takes no time at all! Will definitely be back!

Referred my family members there and everyone loved Dr. Shor. My sister-in-law needed an “onlay” and she said the whole experience was pleasant. Everything went extremely well. Dr. Shor worked efficiently but still managed to spend time explaining the procedure. Because the doctor was so accommodating, my sis-in-law was able to get in and out of the office to pick up her kids from school.

I came in here first to take care of a broken tooth. Dr. Shor and her stuff accommodated me on a short notice and made me feel welcome. I got digital X-ray – no more plastic stuff in your mouth that cuts your gums! Doctor Shor’s work is by far the best I have experienced and I can trust her to do more work in the future. My experience and opinion with my dental visit to Dr. Shor was excellent. The staff is pleasant and I had no problem making an appt. Dr. Shor does nothing less than perfect work and she will do anything to save a tooth–which she did for me. I had a broken tooth and she was able to take tooth out and put implant in at the same time and I felt no pain at all! 3 months later I had a cap put on that fits and looks like real tooth! I was very impressed by the quality of work performed by Dr. Shor. What I liked the most was her conservative approach to treatment. I had a deep cavity and while other dentists suggested a root canal & crown or inlay, she opted for a filling. ” We can always do root canal later if necessary, but for now let’s try the least invasive treatment possible” – she said. She spent a lot of time working on the filling, but it feels great now. And I saved a lot of money too! Thank you, Dr. Shor!

Dr.Asya Shor is a fantastic dentist. Since I was a little kid, I have avoided the dentist because it resulted in bad experiences, but with Dr.Shor things have been different. She explained all of the procedures before doing them to make me comfortable. I’ve had 2 regular fillings, a root canal and a cleaning done. I am very happy with the results. Now that I found a dentist I like, I’m hopeful there will be less drilling in my future 🙂

They fit me in same day for an emergency, my new filling (placed by another dentist) fell out. They put in a temporary filling and got me back in the next day to replace with a permanent.
