I always wait until I am seen a few times to make a valid opinion on a dentist office/team, but so far, so good. I really want to keep up with my teeth because I have always had good teeth/gums and have taken good care of them even though I am a heavy coke/coffee/tea drinker… so whitening and healthy teeth/gums is my top priority. The more that I learn from the Dental Team, the Better, so thank you!!!

So far I am so good with this office and the staff! I know I was like a child going in and it did hurt but they made me so good! They all actually worked with me on my hurting and told me what to do for my next visit! It worked!

From having multiple fillings, braces for 4+ years, 4 extractions, a root canal and my wisdom teeth being removed all BEFORE I came to visit North Decatur Dentistry (referred to as NDD going forward), I feel like I have just enough experience, dentists wise, to say that I have had the best experience of my lifetime being here. I was here for an initial consult for some tooth pain/discomfort, which led to me understanding that the situation did not end with my discomfort. I needed 3 root canals, multiple crowns, a filling (till a future crown may be needed), a potential 4th root canal and an extraction of a tooth. I know what you’re thinking, they’re probably just selling me services – I am proud to say no, this is not the case, due to my previous experiences and understanding how much worse it can become without taking the correct actions. The majority of my time was spent prior to my birthday weekend- I was at NDD literally everyday, M-F, and 3 out of 5 of those days were for pushing that 9 hours+ mark. So many hours but what can you do when there is work to be done, and that’s where I’ll move on to the extremely qualifed and professional staff of NDD. Starting off, my primary dentist was Dr. Park. From being clear, concise and efficient with communication, laying out all potential scenarios, being open to any and all questions (even some of my silly ones) – I truly appreciated the work that we underwent and knowing that not only was there experience backing the skillfulness of the work but from a people’s perspective, one would not have a dentist that would make you more at ease and be able to literally relax during all procedures (yes, even when grinding away heavy amounts of decay and the quite hot ‘liquid’ that’s used to fill the roots during a root canal haha) The actual physical work itself was the best I’ve ever witnessed- that is, not having to repeatedly think the questions that come after crowns (why the wobble, is it loose, why is there so much excess cement, is this supposed to be this tight) or having to feel unsure/uncomfortable about the work that was actually done. Hands down, Dr. Park is the best dentist I have ever had. I have had dentist work and maintained certain dentists in New York, California, India, and even local to Atlanta in Buckhead and Sandy Springs- Dr. Park is the epitome of what a dentist can and should be. Given the clinic and it’s logistics, wait times are very minimal pre-appointment- and if waiting, there is always hot coffee/tea to be freshly brewed in the waiting area (literally, a highlight of my week). During the appointment, if there is a 30 min ‘break time’ (for example when my crown was finishing up being in the oven/cooling down etc) the locale is nice, with a Walmart, Sprouts grocery store, Starbucks, fast casual food places etc in the same plaza. There is plenty free parking in the lot which is a huge bonus rather than inner city/street parking situations. Due to NDD being highly efficient in it’s procedure, I dropped in unscheduled for a crown adjustment (which I didn’t know I needed due to being numb when first installed) and I was taken care of as if I had an appointment- was in and out in literally 15 minutes. I truly laud this procedure and the whole team that makes it possible. Segwaying into it are those that make NDD what it is – a care-free, chill, fun, professional, and informative environment- and also allow Dr. Park to perform at such a calibur. Huge shoutout to the following, in no particular order (essentially a good portion of the office as I basically ‘lived’ there during the working days haha- hope I did not leave too many out): Shay, Shaunda, Tosha, Sarah for always being on top of everything/assisting Dr. Park Lexi and Khaja for making the billing experience straightforward, easy to understand, and presenting me with any and all options Kelsey and team for calling me to confirm/remind me of my upcoming appointments (literally daily, in the best of ways) Finally, Dr. Wu, whose expert counsel made me feel just “Wow”. Dr.Wu’s experience and intelligence is just astounding. He truly is like a board member who advises on the appropriate and calculated next steps given his time in the field. Given my assignment to Dr. Park, I did not deal with Dr. Wu as much, which just goes to show that if I am writing about him this highly, just imagine how skilled he is! Thank you NDD, I will be back as planned in around a couple weeks for that extraction and follow up. For those that are reading this- yes, going to the dentist can be really fun, a learning experience, and most of all, NDD knows what they’re doing and they are extremely on point. I highly recommend them!

I am so impressed with the services I have received here. I went in there after a root canal and got the crown the same day. Which is by the way insane. The dentist was very professional. He thoroughly discussed my options with me. They went over costs of the procedures with me. The office is so up to date and belongs in 21st century unlike some of the dentists I have been to whose office still looks like they’re in 90s. I don’t know why they don’t have good reviews. If you went there for crown, implant or other main procedure it is going to cost you obviously. I feel like I have finally found the Dental office for me.

New to the area and needed to find a new dentist. I found that here! Friendly and welcoming front desk staff, was seen immediately and the hygienist was helpful and patient. Dr. Wu explained what he was doing and why, gave me opportunities to ask questions, and was honest and kind! They suggested add-on items but weren’t pushy when I declined. Can’t recommend enough!

Dr. Wu and his staff are wonderful. I selected this new office when they opened near my house. I had an emergency last Thursday and they were very accommodating. The office staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I needed another procedure and a staff member gave me her appointment so that I could see the specialist on Monday. I am so grateful. If you’re looking for a great dentist with an exceptional staff check out North Decatur Dentistry! You won’t be disappointed!

Today was my first visit with this dental office, and I great one it was. This staff is very professional, warm, informative and personal. They made me feel very relaxed and safe in their care. The office itself is very clean, bright and high tech. It is in a great location with shops, restaurants and easy access. I am very pleased and happy with EVERYTHING about this office. I am TIRED of feeling like a number when I go to medical office; here I felt like an actual person. You will not regret your visit here…

I went to N. Decatur Dentistry the first time yesterday, and was so pleased! Every single person there is very warm and welcoming. I have slight anxiety about going to the dentist, but I feel totally calm and happy there! I arrived about 15 minutes early, and I didn’t even have to wait! They got me right in for x-rays and a cleaning. They were upfront and clear about everything they were doing during the appointment. I highly recommend them, and I’m setting up an appointment for my husband soon, too! I’m a fan!

Dr. Wu is an angel! I called today because I was in massive pain due to a broken and infected tooth. The wonderful receptionist made me an appointment and was able to come in a few hours later. The office is clean and bright. And the staff is very personable and of course friendly. Dr. Wu explained everything in detail, gave pricing, even offered a discount for a different matter, and allowed me to make decisions about my dental health without guilting, manipulating or being pushy. I felt comfortable and valued in the office and not just another customer to get money from. I had lost faith in dentistry due to horrible past experiences, but Dr. Wu is amazing. I will definitely be back!

The contrast between this dentist and the last is quite significant. They are professional, clean, hygienic, they have a very good process to deal with the pandemic. They found a completely non-invasive way to treat my daughter’s dental issue when the former dentist was totally decimating her teeth with an over-aggressive treatment. They return calls promptly. Everything is buttoned up and very satisfying!

Before I go into the review, I’ll just give a little background info. I haven’t been to a dentist in more than a decade, not proud of it either. Lack of insurance, lack of time, etc. all the good excuses. Now that I have a good dental insurance plan, I thought to myself I should really go to a dentist. While I was at work, a member of mine told me that his friend had just went to North Decatur Dentistry and received great service and attention. Since I already made my mind up about going to a dentist, I decided to give it a shot. I went on their online portal. For some reason the mobile site did not let me continue with setting up an appointment, but the desktop site did, so no biggie. I got a call from them confirming my appointment and they collected my insurance info as well. They even allowed me to see someone at 5pm for my exams, which was surprising to me as it’s pretty late. The day of the appointment was filled with both anxiety and relief, in that order. I saw the person at the front desk, unfortunately I wasn’t told her name, but she was able to check me in and collected my ID and verified my info. Cool. Then I went to the back and saw Shonda (forgive my spelling if it’s not right) to do my x-ray. She was great as I was able to converse and joke a little with her, both to soothe my anxiety and at least get to know her while worked. I then saw Dr. Wu. My guy knows his stuff. He went over everything on my x-rays, going into detail about what is needed and what would be the best option. I appreciated the knowledge he passed down to me in terms I could understand. After Dr. Wu finished, I asked him for a specific hygienist, Fateemah. This was the hygienist that was recommended to me by the friend of my member from work. He quickly said he would be glad to have her do my cleaning. The cleaning process itself was a bit painful (I opted out of local anesthesia since it was tolerable for me), as I had terrible build up according to Fateemah, but I have to say, I am VERY impressed with her attention to detail. As she was doing the cleaning and nearing towards the end, I noticed she started repeating some of the cleaning process and she informed me that she’s double checking to make sure she got all the nooks and crannies as she likes to be thorough. She supplied me with a bag of goodies and went over how I should brush, floss, and even recommended a toothbrush for me to use (Oral B Genius electric toothbrush). After I was done, I met with Khaja, the benefits coordinator and she was very helpful with supplying me with the costs of the procedures that need to be done and gave me options on how to pay as well as when I can set up the appointments. Overall, I felt like I was in good hands at North Decatur Dentistry. They went over everything I needed to know and gave me options and recommendations. I even appreciate they stayed a little later after closing time and didn’t rush me out. The highlight was the AMAZING recommendation I received to see Fateemah. It shows that she is very passionate about what she does and wants the best for the patient. The only sad part is that I was informed she won’t be there for long, but I’ll make sure I follow her wherever she goes…it isn’t easy finding a great hygienist like that!

The most amazing dentist experience. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, the staff is super friendly and they make you feel relax and at home. The best part of the whole experience was the dentist. He I so skilled and amazing and his equipment is State of the art. I highly recommend this dentist and he is stuck with me and my husband as long as we live in Georgia. DR. you are truly amazing

I’m a Current patient and Dr. Wu is An amazing doctor. He is and was very patient with me, very understanding , very informative and gentle because i was very fearful… Also Everyone else that helped me along the way from walking in the door , to getting x-rays down to The end of my surgeries made me feel very welcome and comfortable as well as warmed and relaxed. This is literally after my first two visits ever. I love this place.

Ive been coming to this dentist office since it had open and I can honestly say Kaja has the best customer service and Dr. Wu is the best dentist I’ve ever gone to. Dr. Wu is patient, kind, very intelligent and has an excellent bedside manner. As an RN, this is very important to me and Dr. Wu is very manner-able and takes care of his patients holistically instead of just focusing solely on the teeth. Shaunda, the lead dental technician is very kind as well, along with all of the staff. I can’t wait to come back!

I had my first visit here last week and I had nothing but a positive experience. The front desk staff were polite and I was taken to the back for my scheduled cleaning after waiting just a few minutes in the waiting area. The room that I was in was clean and my hygienist, Fateemah, did a great job on my cleaning and explained exactly what she was doing and looking for during the cleaning and was also able to answer any questions that I had. I definitely plan to visit this office for my next scheduled cleaning.

Dr. Wu and the front staff made me feel comfortable during my first visit. I’m expecting and they took all percussions according to the guidance my doctor mentioned in my letter according to x rays. The Hygenist did a really great job on my cleaning my teeth. The front office staff were nice and checked me in fast during my follow up and took me right to my room when I came in. They used a high tech machine that allowed me to fix my sensitive tooth the same day! Go check them out!

This was my first visit to North Decatur Dentistry and I was soooooo pleased. My previous experience with dentist have not been great. The staff at NDD were extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable.The office was clean and inviting….I have already scheduled my next appointment.

This was my first visit to North Decatur Dentistry and I was beyond pleased. The staff was so nice and welcoming, and were very patient with me as I have sensitive teeth. They helped me decide on a better plan for my dental care and walked me through everything without being pushy . I absolutely loved the office space. Very modern, clean and there are tvs you can watch whatever you want on in every room . I am so happy I found this office and now I can call it my new dental home !

Very good job. Just made my second appointment for a cleaning and check up. I have had enough dental work for three life times. I can not count how many root canals I have had. Also I shot in the jaw in Iraq. No VA right I was just a sub contractor. It was handled under workman’s comp at Emory. This is cash pay for me and the partial I need are pricey but I would highly recommend this business… Scott.
