Dr. Crowe and her staff are the best! Everyone is very friendly and takes the time to answer your questions. My kids love going to the orthodontist, which I can’t complain about. Dr. Crowe is personable, silly with the kids, and has always presented all of the different alternatives to treatment. She supports a conservative approach. My kids love the shirts they’ve gotten, the chances to win prizes each month, and everyone there. I will not take my children anywhere else!

Our son, Miles was referred to Dr. Jennifer Croweby our good of Bridgetown Dental at the tender age of 6 for dental crowding similar to rows of shark teeth. She does a Pano x-ray yearly and follows the patient for as many years as possible to see just where those teeth are going to migrate to Gratis !!! That’s without charge, for those of you with limited vocabulary 😉 He just received upper braces only and the process was literally painless for both Miles and his parents. Financing options are handled seamlessly and in a most professional and compassionate manner by their expert financial person, and the staff and Jennifer Crowe are masters with kids. Dr Crowe followed our son for a few years before placing braces. She provided free exams and x-rates during his evaluation period and we’ve always found her a pleasure to work with. Now that we’re going more regularly for his braces we’re still very pleased with the attention to detail from both front and back office staff, as well as Dr Crowe herself. We recommend!

My twins are both in braces. Dr. Crowe and her staff are simply amazing. Easy to work with, competent, friendly, accessible, kind and accommodating. Oh, and Dr. Crowe has a wicked sense of humor too, which goes a long way in my book. I posted the following and 2 days later Dr. Crowe’s office expanded their hours to 5 days a week! Wow!!! — The office has a serious downside. They are only open Monday- Wednesday. This means that when a bracket falls off your kid’s tooth Wednesday night, you have to wait almost a week to get it re-attached. In the meantime, a wire is digging into their cheek and they are very unhappy. BTW – a bracket falling of is very common. So, to be clear. My concerns have been mitigated.

I have been completely satisfied with the level of care that I have been receiving from Ms. Crowe and her staff. I recently moved to Portland, from Santa Cruz, while I was in the middle the invisalign process. I was happy to find that all my records were obtained with ease and the price for my treatment was $100.00 less than my orthodontics in Santa Cruz. I will update this review once my treatment has been completed. Bottom line, this place is a great value for the services that they provide.

If you’re like most people who happen to have braces when they were younger, but needed orthodontic work again as an adult because you failed to wear your retainers… Then you’re just like me; I’m going the invisalign route. In search for a location that fit my budget, my work schedule, and so forth – I stumbled upon North Portland Orthodontics as referred by my general dentists (Pitman Family Dental). Dr. Crowe is amazing and her staff make the location even better – it’s super family oriented and although I don’t have a family myself, I hopefully have somewhere to take them to in the far off future. You’re not treated like another patient pouring over their insurance and money to get treatment. But you’re treated like a member of their family and it means a lot. They’re kind, courteous, and efficient with what they do. Take them up on their offer of their complementary initial exam, you won’t go anywhere else afterward.

I had Invisalign treatment followed by permanent retainer at North Portland Orthodontics. Each visit was pleasant and almost fun as Dr Crowe is warm and can be a little silly (in the best possible way). I finished my treatment almost a year ago, and when I recently had a problem with my permanent retainer I was offered a same-day appointment and of course there was no charge.

Dr. Crowe is patient and understanding with my 9 year old daughter. She is never nervous about going to see Dr. Crowe. The thing I most appreciate about Dr. Crowe is her willingness to be flexible and creative in her approach. My daughter has big teeth, a small mouth and doesn’t eat well. I wanted to avoid metal in her mouth as long as possible. Dr. Crowe has completely agreed with me and taken a conservative approach whereby we chose to pull some teeth to make space versus resorting to a spacer as a default. She is wonderful and I’m lucky to have found an otrhodontist whose philosophy lines up with mine

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Crowe’s for a coupe of years now and every time we go in for a check up, I am just as impressed as I was the first time we went. The office staff is truly wonderful! It’s easy to see that they are all valued and really enjoy their jobs as well as the each other. Dr. Crowe is incredible efficient, but doesn’t hesitate to take a little more time when it comes to patient comfort or parent’s questions. She’s witty and knowledgeable and seems to really stay up on the latest technology in the field. There have been a couple of times when a wire slipped or the hardware was uncomfortable during after office hours, but we have always received a prompt call back and been worked into the schedule in a timely manner. It’s easy to get an appointment and I have always felt like my questions and concerns were throughly addressed.

My son had started braces in another state and went off to college in Portland. We could not find ANYONE to take him as a patient. Many offered to completely start over and charge the full amount of $5K. Then i was referred to Dr. Crowe through an orthodontic college where she teaches. She took my son;s case. He only had braces for 6 more months and she charged a reasonable amount. She was efficient and precise and has a very warm and personable approach to running an office. Her office staff are professional, friendly and customer oriented — and made my son feel very welcome each time he walked in the door. We had a great experience! A lot of things make Dr. Jennifer Crowe smile: her upbringing in Arizona, her quickly growing family, and, especially, the opportunity to help the great people of PDX. And here’s something that should make you smile: while many orthodontists are not board-certified, Dr. Crowe is. Far beyond a dental degree or a license to practice, board certification takes a whole lot of extra work and knowledge. Just the kind of work Dr. Crowe loves doing. She went to UCLA for both her undergraduate and dental education. That is where she really fell in love with orthodontics. Which was pretty obvious from the fact that she graduated at the top of her class with Summa Cum Laude honors and won all sorts of awards for her teaching efforts and clinical skills. She then completed her orthodontic residency at OHSU, where she still remains very involved. Even with running her practice, she still manages to find time to teach there. Not only does this allow her to give back, but it also helps her stay current in her field. She’s a big believer in research and practicing evidence-based dentistry. She also enjoys participating in research projects through the university and has lots of published articles. Dr. Crowe is crazy about Portland. So much so, that she was able to persuade the man she would eventually marry to move here. Then she convinced her parents to do the same. She loves the fact that she gets to help the PDX community that has so graciously accepted her and her family. When she’s not here with us in the office, Dr. Crowe can be found teaching at OHSU, exploring the outdoors, traveling, or spending time with her husband Jeff, two boys, Jax and Bryce, and her new baby girl Nina. Dr. Crowe has a lot of reasons to smile for real.
