Dr. Emad has been our family dentist for almost twenty years. He is without doubt one of the best dentists in the region. For example, a few weeks ago I had a dental emergency, on a day when the clinic was closed. But Dr. Emad responded immediately, met me at the clinic within half an hour, and took care of the emergency. He has handled everything from cavities, to crowns and implants for our family. He cares deeply that the care his patients receive is top of the line. He always follows up with a phone call to make sure there are no issues. Dr. Emad has been my dentist for the past 25 years. He has taken care of numerous crowns and root canals for me (I did not grow up with good dental hygiene), he took care of braces for both of my daughters, and he continues to be conscientious in my dental care. In December 2018, he removed my youngest daughter’s wisdom teeth (she is 18). He really took his time and was as gentle as possible. A week later, you could not even tell that anything had been done in her mouth – the extraction sites had healed well. Dr. Emad is always professional and personable. I feel he truly cares of my family as patients.

Dr. Emad has been our family dentist for well over 15 years, and today he also has my mother who moved to Nova recently. She could not say enough good things. He saw her promptly, assessed what she needed, explained the procedures and took care of her all at once. She is a very happy customer. He then called her the next day to make sure all was ok, as he regularly does whenever we have anything done beyond a basic checkup. He is always professional, courteous, respectful, caring and amazing with children. And to top it off, he has a great sense of humor. Everyone is always happy after the visit, regardless of what is done. He has my complete trust and that of everyone in the family. It’s interesting to note that all her one-star reviews are about medical professionals, which may suggest a negative perception of the profession in general. She is certainly entitled to her opinion, and I have great sympathy for her negative experiences, but I hope all the positive reviews of Dr. Emad preset a more accurate picture of his practice.

Dr. Emad has been our family dentist since 1999 and we are very pleased with his services. Over the years we have seen him for an emergency tooth extraction on my then 3 year old who had a tooth abscess, root canals, crowns, and orthodontics for our two children, now 21 and 19 years old. We find it well worth the 23 mile trip from our home to his Chantilly office to have our dental needs attended to by Dr. Emad and his friendly staff. On occasion we have also visited the Vienna office. I have recommended Dr. Emad to many co-workers and friends – all of whom have had positive reports of their experiences. Dr. Neal Emad has been my dentist for 25 years and my son and daughter were his patients for many years before they went away to college. Eventhough I moved to Arlington several years ago I continue to stay with his practice and visit the Vienna office. We have nothing but the highest regard for him. I have always found him warm and respectful as well as professionally trustworthy and competent. My daughter, in particular, still mentions his gentleness and patience and always has me give him her regards whenever I visit his office. After a procedure he is known to call me later in the day to find out how I’m doing. He has taken me on an emergent basis on more than one occasion and accommodated my lateness on an occasion when I was quite late. His entire office is helpful and cordial, the atmosphere is cheerful and parking is right out front.

I absolutely recommend Dr Emad to anyone looking for a dentist. Dr Emad has met all my dental needs for the last 20 years and I am completely satisfied with his work. Dr Emad works carefully – the outcome is proof of his care & proficiency. I have never had to go back after a procedure because of pain, or even take pain killers the following day. When Dr Emad fixes something, it stays fixed! I have never had decay next to a filling, a filling come out, a crown come off, a crown crack or any other problems of any type with Dr Emad’s work. Dr Emad also really cares about the comfort of his patients. I have oddly placed nerves, and they don’t numb easily. Dr Emad always takes the time & gives extra care to be sure the anesthetic is fully effective before proceeding. Since recently relocating to D.C., I had yet to find a dental provider to carry over my care with when an accident resulted in the chipping of my front tooth. After a recommendation from a friend, I called Dr. Emad’s office to explain my situation. They made every effort to work with my schedule in order to get me in to be seen immediately. I appreciated this sense of concern and urgency, especially since I had not been a patient of Dr. Emad’s before. He was thorough in asking me about my dental history while quickly working to evaluate and repair the damage, which is thankfully now unnoticeable! Aside from Dr. Emad’s notable skill and experience, I was incredibly impressed with his empathy and his personable yet professional demeanor. Additionally, the entire office staff was warm, welcoming, and responsive. I noticed Dr. Emad, as well as individual staff members, continuously filtering in and out of the waiting area to greet other patients, giving the office a friendly, familial feel. I respectfully disagree with the previous negative 1 star review by E.W., as I could not have had a more opposite opinion. I have worked in several areas of healthcare, ranging from a technician, to a nurse, and now in anesthesia. My work has allowed me to practice in different settings with a wide variety of practitioners. Dr. Emad is a provider who balances the skillset of being exceptionally competent and knowledgeable with invoking a sense of comfort and compassion. I have been seeing Dr. Emad since 1993. Yesterday I had the pleasure of also meeting and being worked on by his son, Marcus Emad. The care I have received over the past 27 years is second to NONE. I started seeing Dr Neal Emad approximately16 years ago after a co-worker referred me and have never been more happy with his care. I had several bad experiences with dentists and was very anxious every 6 months when I went. And to this day, every 6 months I get very anxious, UNTIL I get in his chair and then I know he will take care of me. I have referred many happy patients to him. My daughter, now 18 and son, now 17 have been with him since they were 3 and he has taken very good care of them to the point he calls after a procedure or filling to make sure nothing unusual has occurred. He has always been so kind to my 3 daughters, even allowing one, 10 years ago to be his “assistant” when he was giving exams to her older sister. She got to operate “Mr Thirsty”, we thought for a long time she might be a dental hygienist! I always get in very quickly for appointments, even if I forget to make my 6 month checkup. I’ve always had a fear of dentist since I was 14. I only went to a dentist when necessary. About 2 years ago my children and I became new patients of Dr. Emad and I must say I am so happy we did. Dr. Emad made us feel so comfortable. Even though my children had regular checkups I was the one who needed to help the most. My teeth were in bad shape. Gum disease, loss enamel, shifting of my teeth and the worst (yellow). Dr. Emad worked with me a my fears. Never pushing me to do more then I could handle. I hated needles so bad but he made it so easy that I barely felt it. I had 2 years worth of work on these teeth. An now I’m so happy. He’s the best. Always caring. I remember one procedure where the air hit my teeth after I got my temp crowns off to get me permanent placed it. The cold air hit it and I was in tears. Dr. Emad immediately gave me some more pain medicine and wiped away my tears. Now that’s a doctor that cares. As long as he is in practice, I will be his patient. He is one in a million!!!!!
