I’ll start off by saying I m a BIG chicken when it comes to visiting the dentist. No lies, I happened to find Dr Kaur’s office by chance while browsing the net. Cannot recommend her highly enough. Dr Kaur and staff literally held my hand through every step of the treatment. Domonique, her assistant is exceptionally nice and was very kind and helpful to me throughout… I will recommend her to anyone !!

I have been to this dentist couple of times this year about extraction of my wisdom teeth, deep cleaning and other teeth maintain works. It is close to my home and Dr Namrata is very professional and friendly. She gave me the good suggestions and great treatment. My teeth problem was resolved well. Will continue to visit here for future teeth clean and maintenance and will recommend to my friend.

My Coworker was telling me about Doctor, Kaur and her staff’s I have been to a lot of dentist over the years, for many different problems, and Dr. Kaur is absolutely the best of best dentist I have ever been to. She is very professional, and very knowledgeable. I feel very fortunate to have her. When I first saw all the glowing reviews here I was skeptical, but they are all true. The entire staff is very friendly and also very professional. Everything put together creates a subtly relaxed atmosphere that I’ve never seen at a dentist office. I highly recommend Doctor Kaur.

Recently relocated to Fairfax, and found this office on My Insurance recommendation. I went there because my wife complained that I snore a lot! I was brought in and Dr Kaur fitted me for a snoreguard. It works *****GREAT*******! Even though my insurance did not cover it, I now have peace of mind!! Would recommend this office.

Despite me being terribly late to my appointment, Dr. Kaur and her staff were very accommodating. I also had a very pleasant procedure and they made sure I was comfortable throughout my filling. Make sure you schedule ahead of time because a lot of people make appointments here! Definitely recommend especially if you’re days are busy because they are very efficient and precise with their procedures!

I came here as a new patient and I was so nervous! I had bad experience with my old dentist and just took me a while to make an appointment. I’m glad I did because Dr. Kaur is SO nice and informative. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answered my questions, didn’t feel rushed. My appointment was an hour, and the next person didn’t show up until the next hour. She really spends time with her patients. I love the computer where you can see exactly what is happening. I really don’t like the drill, so she switched to a manual one to make me more comfortable and I really appreciate that. When x rays were taken, I could see them being loaded on the screen. I really like this since it’s not like they are trying to hide anything. She also took pictures of my teeth when trying to explain the issues and it showed up right on the computer. I really like the transparency. When I was taking panoramic xray, the hygienist actually asked me when my last xray was since insurance only covers it every so years. I was happy she was honest.

I really enjoyed my visit with Namrata Kaur, DMD and I typically cannot stand going to any dentist office. She was very informative, took my concerns seriously, and worked above and beyond to make sure I got the treatment plan I needed as soon as possible. I appreciate how she consulted me before working out a plan of action making me feel included and like I had some control over what happened next instead of her opinion alone. I felt very comfortable and at ease with her and her assistant, even during x-rays (which are usually extremely uncomfortable). I was given the opportunity to ask any question as she answered every one until I understood and was satisfied with the answer. Furthermore, the front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to continuing my dental care with her in the future and recommend her office even to those who are usually afraid of going the dentist, because she has definitely changed my perspective of a Dentist Appointment for the better.

Dr. Kaur and her staff are great to work with! My husband and I have never had a negative experience. Dr. Kaur is always kind, gentle, and perceptive. She will never try to over-recommmend but guide you on what you need to have done. Very different from other dentists in the area that will try to “oversell” you on procedures that are not absolutely needed. Dr. Kaur strives to give her patients the best possible care. I highly recommend her and her team!

I recently began using Nova Family Dentistry moving back to Fairfax. The care I received from Dr. Kaur has been excellent. She has performed a series of fillings for me. Dr. Kaur was very patient and explained everything along the way. She took her time and answered any questions that I had.

Good experience. Doctor Ninh did a good job with tooth extraction, it just went so smoothly, and my second appointment for fillings was also success since Dr Namrata Kaur with her assistant showed professionalism by making good decisions and she was always careful and precise with her work and she did an outstanding job. Highly recommended. Have my next appointments scheduled and will use only Nova Dentistry services even though I live in Alexandria.

Dr Kaur and her staff have been great for all of my visits. I had never had a filling before and she made sure to explain everything to me before hand. My girlfriend goes to her as well and actually referred me initially when I had a change of insurance and needed to find a new dentist. I’m very glad I chose her as my dentist.

I hadn’t been to the dentist for some time and I was a little nervous about what dentist I should choose. I read some reviews and saw a constant theme of Dr. Kaur being caring, gentle and takes the fear out of going to the dentist. So I decided to visit this practice. My experience was the same, I had a great experience the process was quick, painless and I definitely would recommend to others and already have. The staff is very friendly and caring as well.

Dr. Kaur and her staff are one of the friendliest and caring group of medical professionals that I’ve ever met. I’ve been a patient since 2011 and I can not imagine anyone else handling my dental treatment. You will not regret becoming a patient of hers as well. Come for the professionalism and care but you’ll stay for the relationships and smiles.

Dr Kaur and her team have been the best. I have visited several dentists in the area, but found this office to be the most helpful. I had an emergency and they brought me in the same day and took care of me. Even my regular dentist whom I called couldn’t fit me in right away.  The office is clean and the staff is friendly. Highly recomment this office to anyone.

My experience here was a good one. After having a filling done by another dentist fall out over 3 times on the same tooth, I decided it was time to move on. The tooth was bothering me and I was very disheartened. Well, I am really glad I found Dr Karr’s office. She brought me in  the same day and was very patient with me. My tooth is now fixed and I sincerely want to thank her and the staff. I have found my Dentist!!

I have found Nova Family Dentistry to be am excellent service. They are prompt and explain all procedures to the patient. Dr Kaur is exceptional and through in taking care of all my dental needs. And this is from a man who is uncomfortable at the thought of seeing any dentist! All the staff is extremely competent and friendly. I will be seeing them for all my dental care!

Dr. Namarata Kaur and her staff are exceptional in all areas of their craft. I’ve always felt comfortable and welcomed within their facility and this has helped me not dread going to the dentist. One of my favourite aspects, other than the studio Ghibli music that plays, is that they aren’t forceful on recommending treatments as I’ve experienced at other dentists. They give you all of the information and let you decide whether or not it’s something you want to pursue. Overall this has been the best dentist I’ve been to in the DC area and I’m looking forward to going here for the foreseeable future.

My first and probably last dentist, as long as I stay in the area. I used to have a phobia for dental procedures. I would lose sleep the night before a regular cleaning session, just so you know how afraid I am of going to the dentists. Dr. Kaur has changed all that. She’s the most caring, diligent, and skilled dentist that I have ever had. Unlike other dentists who just want to get the job done so they can get to other patients, or “recommend” you with “necessary” treatments, Dr. Kaur is very patient, sympathetic, and has never made me feel pressured to proceed with anything that I do not feel comfortable with. She only gives you honest advice and always backs it up with x-rays and careful examination. During the treatments, she lets you know in detail what each step of the process entails, and it really helps in keeping you at ease. Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Kaur enough. If you are like me who are afraid of the dentists, come to Dr. Kaur. She will change your mind and fix your dental issues before you know it. 6/5 stars if I could!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kaur for over a year. I came in needing quite a bit of work and I found her caring and thorough. She took the least invasive process to repair my teeth, and I could not be happier. With her thoughtfulness I was also able to avoid having a root canal. I’ve continued to see her for check ups and routine care and I highly recommend her.

So, I’ve never really gushed over a dentist, but Dr. Kaur is the best dentist I’ve ever had.  She is very nice and tries really hard to make sure you are comfortable with all the procedures.  She explains everything very well and makes her recommendations easy to understand.  She also has no problem referring you to someone else for procedures she doesn’t do.  Her front office staff are really nice and know how to take care of all the insurance angles.  I’ve spent a lot of time there in the last few weeks with me and my children and they remember all of us every time.

When choosing a dentist, knowing what qualities to look for can make a huge difference. If you’ve been asking yourself, “Is there a good dentist in Fairfax’s then a visit to Nova Family Dentistry may be what you have been looking for. They provide each patient with great quality dental care. They are patient and understanding of your needs. I was terrified of the dentist due to a bad experience, but Dr Namrata Kaur has made me feel so at ease and the staff members were just as wonderful. I just wish I had found their office sooner. Im definitely recommending Nova Family Dentistry if you are looking for a great dentist.

My relationship with Nova Family Dentistry began when my wife who was experiencing dementia misplaced her bottom plate. The patience and concern that Dr Namrata Kaur and her staff displayed in ensuring that the replacement plate, not only matched her top plate, but complimented her smile are hard to match. I was so impressed with the concern and care they exhibited with my wife that I immediately started having then do work on my long neglected teeth, necessitating that root canals, crowns, extractions and bridges had to be performed. As wife my wife, Dr Kaur has been informative, patient, and sensitive to my needs. She is very focused and desired to make sure things are done properly on each visit. All of the staff in this office are caring, professional, and go out of their way to ensure all details are known of your cost and times of future visits, if necessary. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Kaur has been husband & my dentist for several years now & I can’t recommend her highly enough. She has been available by phone over the weekend when an emergency occured, tailors her approach to the individual, and her manner is first class. I so appreciate how she effortlessly combines staight forward common sense with a very healthy dose of kindness & empathy. If you have been putting off going to the dentist or are just looking for a new provider, give Dr. Kaur a try.
