Words  really can’t express how grateful I am for the care my son received here. Unfortunately he had some serious dental issues and had a lot of work done 2 years ago when he was 4 with another dentist, under anesthesia.  I recently learned that none of the fixes survived and he would need multiple extractions, etc.. I was shocked and literally sick to my stomach at the thought of him having to go through this again, and with general anesthesia AGAIN, at such a young age.   The week I received this news, by some miracle, I learned about this practice. Dr. Alami and his staff were amazing!  He was confidant we could avoid sedation and he delivered.   Their approach to putting a scared child at ease is really unique.  This place is special.

We love Oak Park Dentistry! I don’t think we have been seen by the same dentist twice and they are all great! The whole staff is amazing! From the front desk ladies to the “techs” in the back and dentist- they’re all professional, friendly and cheerful. I am beyond grateful that my 3 and 5yr old kids like going to the dentist because they have never had a bad experience!

I haven’t been to this dentist for while since I am no longer a child, however when I went to this dentist is phenomenal. From what I remember, everyone was very nice. I would like to say that Dr. Alami is a great doctor. When I was in third grade (almost 10 years ago) my tooth got knocked out of my mouth and was hanging by a thread (it was a permanent tooth, not a baby tooth and if it got completely knocked out I would have been screwed). This was around 6 P.M. and most dentists were closed at that time of day. My dad frantically called up his friend, who is also a dentist and he recommended Oak Park Dentistry and gave us Dr. Alami’s personal phone number. We had never been there before but it was our only hope in saving my tooth. After we got Dr. Alami’s phone number we called him and if I remember correctly he had just sat down for dinner with his family and some friends after work, and my dad explained to him the predicament I was in. Without hesitation, Dr. Alami dropped his plans and met us at his office. He worked on my tooth for almost two hours. Thank you so much Dr. Alami. I highly recommend this dentist for all children. You couldn’t ask for a nicer doctor who is genuinely a great person.

Absolutely the best children’s dentist around. I have been taking our 4 children here for over 8 years with amazing results. Every employee there is kind, caring, and takes as much time as needed with each one of our children. As a nurse and medical professional I have always been impressed with the level of care that my children receive. Your treated with compassion and not like a dollar sign attached to an insurance number. If your not happy with your current dentist maybe it’s time you give Oak Park Dentistry for Children a try.

Had a great first time experience! Our daughter gets high anxiety when it comes to the dentist, and doesn’t do well. We needed to have her last three baby teeth pulled so her adult teeth could come in. She was panicky at first but as the gas started to take effect she calmed down. The staff was extreamly helpful and caring and did an amazing job on our daughter! We will be back!

This dentist office was wonderful! They made my daughters first visit less intimidating and a breeze to get through! From the staff at the desk, to Patsy who cleaned my daughters teeth, to Dr. Alami who did the exam… every person we encountered was friendly, explained everything in a way my 4 year old could understand & made her feel special! Highly recommend and she honestly can’t wait to go back in 6 months!

Now that my older daughter is legally adopted, and on our health insurance, she is able to go with her sister to oak park dentistry, and had such a wonderful experience there today. She is normally very afraid of the dentist, but her fears were put to rest after today’s visit. Everyone at this office is welcoming, kind, patient, and thorough. They really take their time with each child , and make your child feel special. I recommend this office to all my friends with children, but most of them already go here. We can’t wait to go back to the Disneyland of dentistry

It was my first visit to the practice and I was blown away by the complete environment. There was a mixup about the location, but they quickly accommodate my two kids and I only waited 10mins. The hygienist was amazing. She explained very detail and made my girls feel special and comfortable. The dentist was also incredible. All the staff was fantastic. Can’t say enough! My girls are very motivated to get the prizes they offer for good hygiene.

If I could give Oak Park Dentistry more than 5 stars I would!! I brought my nervous 4 1/2 year old in for a cleaning and she hasn’t stopped asking me when we can go back to the dentist! Let’s start with the decor. The exterior windows of the office are colorfully painted with their Alligator mascot so the moment we parked our car my daughter knew the place was going to be fun (not scary). There is an artificial life sized tree at the check in counter complete with ‘sleeping’ stuffed bears. The lobby has huge play area with a playhouse, table with games, Lego wall and too many toys to list. There is a tree house filled with ‘animals’ hanging from branches in the outer exam area. They use colorful tie-dyed x-ray protection bibs and fun crazy sunglasses to ‘protect’ little eyes from the bright light of the dental lamp. Every single person at the office is warm and friendly and engages the kids along with the parents at every stage of the appointment. There are stickers and prizes galore throughout the visit with an emphasis on educating little ones on dental health in a positive and encouraging way. There is simply no other dental office that I will ever take my daughter to again. Oak Park has earned a patient for life!

Love, love, love Oak Park Dentistry!  My kids have been going for over 16 years and have had a wonderful experience every time.  They just asked if they could still be seen during college!  Dr. Alami is warm, friendly and professional – as is all the staff.  The environment is welcoming, kid-friendly and clean.  So thankful my kids don’t anything different than the dentist being a fun, positive place and experience.

Amazing place. Staff is always friendly. I’ve taken my son for cleanings and received great care. Recently I had to call while they were at lunch since my son had an accident and I was worried about gym/tooth damage.The doctor on call, called me back within 5 minutes and I got an appointment right away. My son was upset because he didn’t want anybody messing with his mouth but they distracted him with toys and got him to corporate. They did the exam so quickly and verified that he didn’t have major damage. So thankful and forever grateful for getting us in so quickly, being gentle with my son and reassuring me.

Both of my children have been seeing Dr. Alami since they were about a year old.  They are 15 and 13 years old.  Dr. Alami and his staff have always put my kids at ease and it has always been an appointment that my kids looked forward to.  Yesterday my daughter had to see another dentist in the group as I had cancelled my appointment and took another one that was available.  She first had her teeth cleaned and was given lessons on proper brushing and flossing even with braces by Cheryl.  She was so sweet, patient, helpful and even great at entertaining my daughter during the fluoride time which can be difficult.  Then we were seen by Dr. Barry.  She was so great with my daughter and I .  So wonderful with kids!  Great experience with the whole staff yesterday!  We love Oak Park Dentistry

Couldn’t have had a better first dentist experience for my little one! My daughter is little over 2 and today was her first visit at Oak Park Dentistry. From the moment I first called to inquire I knew this place was top notch. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and personable. They made the whole process so easy, fun and she wasn’t scared at all. Dr. Alami was phenomenal with explaining everything & he took the time to make a personal connection with us. We can’t say enough great things!

We had such an amazing experience here. My son is 6yr old and on the Autism spectrum. This was his 1st Dentist visit because up until recently he had major sensory issues and wouldn’t allow anyone near his mouth without a major meltdown. I had read many reviews that Oak Park Dentistry was amazing with special needs kids and as soon as my insurance changed and they were covered i booked his appointment. They were amazing with him and he did so well. We also don’t use fluoride and they were very respectful of that and used a non fluoride toothpaste while cleaning his teeth. He cant wait to go back and earn his prizes for keeping his teeth healthy!

The ENTIRE staff at Oak Park Dentistry are remarkable!! The receptionist’s are warm and welcoming, the hygienist’s embrace love and care towards your child throughout the entire cleaning process, the Dentist’s are joyful and caring towards the kids/staff/parents/everyone, and during the entire “experience” the staff continues to educate the parents and kids on helpful ways to maintain healthy teeth. I took my 2 kids there for the first time, when my son was 3 and my daughter 2, and I was slightly fearful with how my kids would handle someone else cleaning their teeth. I could not have been more amazed of how well they did!! This is ALL due to the exceptional care of the staff! The Hygienist made the whole cleaning process an adventure for my kids. They both were able to help in the process and by mid-way they were reclined in the seat and fully trusting in the hygienist. Oak Park Dentistry truly makes going to the dentist a FUN and ENJOYABLE experience. I cannot thank them enough for introducing the dentist office as a fun and educational place to be. If you do not have a local dentist, you MUST try out this office. You will not be disappointed at all. Thank you Oak Park Dentistry!!

Amazing experience! My 2 year old daughter was comfortable, happy, and didn’t want to leave. The staff and hygienists were sweet and very helpful. Dr. Alami was able to make both my daughter and I feel at ease and he explained everything so well. My daughter talked about the dentist all day today to pretty much anyone who would listen. Can’t wait till our next visit and until my 2 week old daughter can be a patient as well. 5 stars for sure!

This is THE place to take your kids for exceptional quality dental care in an environment that is extraordinarily fun for a kid. I grew up with a disdain for going to the dentist…my kids absolutely love going to the dentist!  Dr Alami is an exceptional dentist but what sets him and the Oak Park Dentistry for Children apart is that from the top to the bottom they are not only geared for children but have a passion for dealing with and communicating with children. Cannot recommend enough….if that isn’t enough we are excited about the new orthodontic care they now offer. We know orthodontics is in our future! You cannot have a better experience!

I love Oak Park Dentistry SO much I’m so happy that I get to take my daughter here. There’s not one single thing I would change honestly I feel so welcome it’s such a warm environment. It’s adorably decorated and the dentist and dental assistants are super sweet, especially the dental assistant named Cheryl. My daughter is no longer afraid of or nervous about going to the dentist like she used to be with the Rocketship dentist, I forgot what it’s called. That dental office tried to charge us nearly $1,000 because they said my daughter needed to be anesthetized for these cavity fillings due to her low weight. I asked her pediatrician about it and he referred me to this dental office, they told me that was crazy and they could give her nitrous no problem, they would just be careful with the amount of course. When they filled her THREE cavities she did great and didn’t even flinch or make a peep she just watched her movie. The doctor had told us to give her prune juice which wreaked havoc on her teeth. We couldn’t be happier and both she and I look forward to her dental visits now She loves the little toys and stickers and leaves a very happy camper.

This is a perfect dentistry practice for kids. From the waiting room and the help once you walk in to all of the toys and cool things that makes the children’s first visits to a dentist a fun experience. We get to pick bag of goodies each visit and stickers after. Our daughter loves this place and asks to come back when we don’t even have an appointment. The dentists and staff are extremely patient and great at encouraging the children during their visit and cleaning. Plenty of parking, freeway cost and ease of access (no office buildings, valet, elevator, etc) makes this a great place for our kids’ dental needs. I highly recommend this practice.

They are amazing! I was shocked how awesome my experience was! The office is a kids dream! The staff was so friendly and truly cared about my daughters experience! Thank you for caring! They even make cleaning your teeth fun by having a really awesome reward system! My daughter was in awe of all the stickers and things that she could earn for keeping her teeth clean!

Brought my 2 years old to his first dentist visit last week and I can’t be happier that I chose Oak Park dentistry for Children. They have way exceeded my expectation in all aspects from offering the free initial visit to being knowledgable and extremely accomodating when my son wouldn’t let go the toys from the play area. They actually let him take them into the room so he would not throw a fit. He received 3 toothbrushes for free. When he was offered a toy car gift at the end of the visit he insisted on taking one of the hotwheel cars and they actually let him do that so he wouldn’t be upset. We will definately be returning!
