Dr. Suzie Berger and her staff are absolutely the best around. My son has special needs and we have been going to her for about 15 years. They worked with us, to make sure he loved coming to the office (4-5 visits where he explored, and played) before he ever had to have his teeth fully cleaned and x-rays. To this day, he still LOVES going to the dentist! It helps that her office is such a cool design with an undersea theme, video screens playing Nemo over every station, video games and books in the waiting area, and another play area out front. Now they are supporting us while my son wears braces, teaching him how to keep his teeth healthy and clean. They are wonderful, respectful, and have a sense of humor. I can not say enough good things about them. I just wish I had had a dentist like this growing up!

I have been going to Dr Berger since I was five. Now I have two kids of my own, and still go to Suzie myself (I am almost 40!). She is the best dentist ever. She makes going to the dentist an EXPERIENCE that kids love. The office is an undersea adventure and my kids still talk about the great lessons she gives regarding dental care. I don’t think there’s a better dentist in the world.

STOP LOOKING for a pediatric dentist…you have FOUND YOUR PLACE – here with Suzanne Berger!!! my children have been coming to this office and seeing “Dr. Susie” as we fondly call her – since 2006. I will NOT go anywhere else. Not only is Dr. Susie amazing at what she does – her entire staff are kind, knowledgeable and love the kids…you can tell this is a great place from the moment you are greeted! To me – this place feels like family – I hope you will say the same one day!

Five star rating isn’t high enough for this pediatric dental group! Dr. Suzie and everyone on her Staff are just amazing!! Every time we come in it’s like seeing friends and family that we have missed. A couple of years ago on a weekend my daughter Jenny had one of her permanent front teeth knocked out and it was dangling by gum tissue. I called the office and was connected to Dr. Suzie who left a Cinco De Mayo party to meet us at her office where she and a hygienist (that she called on her way to join her) put warm blankets around Jenny and stitched her tooth back in place and had it connected to the other teeth. It’s perfect, no discoloration. Thank you Dr. Susie, Liz, Leti and all of the friendly faces. You’re the best!

If only I’d known about this office when my older kids were young. Took my younger son here for his first visit yesterday, and I just cannot be more impressed! I should have written this review years ago. My children have all gone to Dr. Berger; I remember taking my son in when he was 2, and he’s almost 17 now. The highest recommendation I can give is that I wish I could have my dental work done by Dr. Berger. She and her staff put the kids first, and when Dr. Lott joined the team she fit right in. And don’t think because your child reaches a certain age you have to find a new dentist. One of our daughters is 23, and she just went to Dr. Berger for her checkup. If all dentists were as caring and professional, dentophobia would be a thing of the past.
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Berger is an incredible practitioner, a visionary, a scientist, and a leader, who is deeply loved and appreciated by her patients and her staff. Her goal is to inspire children and their families to achieve optimal dental heath, personal well-being and to become observant caretakers of our Ocean Planet. As part of a US Air Force family, Dr. Berger grew up in Texas, Florida, Wyoming, Germany, Washington State and California. She received both her dental degree and pediatric specialty training from UCLA's School of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Before beginning private practice in Ventura County in 1983, she was Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco. She has also been a part-time Clinical Instructor in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA, and chair of the California Dental Association's Council on Community Health. In 1996 she received the Camarillo Healthcare District's Apple of Excellence Award. She is a past president of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Santa Barbara-Ventura Country Dental Society. “No one is more kind and generous than Dr. Suzi.” Known for her compassion, adventurous spirit and joie de vivre, she enjoys many outdoor activities that include mountain biking and surfing. Traveling is in her genes and she loves to SCUBA dive while exploring exotic destinations as well as our own Channel Islands. Dr. Suzi enjoys spending time with friends, classical music and making her own underwater videos. This fabulous ocean adventure office is the fusion of her creativity, imagination and love.
