Nobody looks forward to going to the oral surgeon, but Dr. Berrios is an amazing oral surgeon. I saw him for an implant and the procedure went perfectly and my new crown is indistinguishable from my other teeth thanks to the teamwork between Dr. Berrios and my dentist, Dr. Johnny Wong. On an annual x-ray during my daughters check up the dentist discovered a dark area on the x-ray in the lower left quadrant of my daughters jaw/mandible. She referred us to Dr. Berrios. After sitting down with Dr. Berrios and going over the possibilities we decided he was the one to go with. He was super detail oriented and very compassionately explained to our 12-year-old daughter what the possibilities were and how he would proceed. At our daughters dentist’s advice and Dr. Berrios, we decided to have my daughters wisdom teeth removed at the same time as the biopsy sampling surgery since one wisdom tooth already was affected and had to come out anyway. Surgery went as expected and Dr. Berrios’s office even took the time to contact the pathology lab early out to see if by chance the pathology report would be back before Christmas break started and the pathology office would be closed. He was able to get a hold of a preliminary report and called me from his cell phone personally to fill me in with what the pathology office knew up to that point. It was a positive report and was quite a relief that we did not have to worry about it for an additional week. This relief was made possible because of Dr. Berrios’s compassion as a person and physician. Before the final CAT scan months later to do a follow up, My wife and I had questions and requested a call from Dr. Berrios. He returned our call and took the time to explain what the next steps would be in the follow up visit. My wife and daughter attended the follow up visit in which a CT scan was taken to see what the progress was in healing. This happened to be in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and the office personnel were meticulous about health procedures and keeping my wife and daughter safe and yet being compassionate at the same time. Dr. Berrios sat down with my wife and daughter and went over the CT results in person, in detail, and did not rush and was the epitome of what one would expect in an exceptional physician. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for any other person in my family. Daughter number two will be heading his way for wisdom teeth removal. Thank you Dr. Berrios.

After a total of 4 visits with Dr. Berrios and his staff, I confidently and highly recommend this practice. In addition to being very good at what he does, Dr. Berrios impressed me with how kind and gently he was with my 8 year old. He spent a lot of time talking and explaining things to him at each visit, making sure he understood what was going on and was comfortable with what needed to be done. Recently I found myself needing another oral surgery and didn’t hesitate to call Dr. Berrios’s office. I had yet another successful oral surgery 1 week ago. I have been unfortunate enough to have 2 dental emergencies over the past couple of years and both times I have gone to Dr. Berrios. He came highly recommended by an ER doctor who works with him on occassion. I had a terrible abcess that was very painful and Dr. Berrios saw me immediately. I was surprised at the care and amount of time he took to explain everything to me. I was even more surprised to receive a call from him later in the evening to check on how I was doing and to let me know again the specifics of after care. I have never had a doctor or a dentist call me to check on my progress. The second time I saw Dr. Berrios was actually for my daughter. She had all four of her wisdom teeth extracted. Again, the care before, during and after was wonderful. Dr, Berrios and his staff made sure my daughter and I both knew exactly what he would be doing and they were so professional and friendly. He made sure that the follow up was just as important as the actual extraction visit. I have 2 other kids and will take them to Dr. B for wisdom teeth issues. I just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed today and wow, i was impressed. Dr. Rick Berrios is an amazing oral surgeon! He and staff are all very nice and considerate. They explain everything very well so you can understand the process and even call you later on that night to check on you. The doctor could tell I was scared before the procedure so he made some jokes to make me feel better. Also, when they were getting ready to put me under anesthesia, one of his assistants held and rubbed my had to help calm me down. That was really nice of her. I would definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Berrios is an excellent oral surgeon. I had a tooth abscess on a Sunday night and my dentist sent me to Dr. Berrios. Dr. Berrios brought me in right away, Monday morning and took care of me. If you have ever had a tooth abscess, you know it is the most painful thing to experience! Luckily, Dr. Berrios saved the day and helped me first thing in the morning. His office was busy and I could tell he fit me into his busy schedule because I was in so much pain. He was kind and caring and helped me feel better immediately. If you need wisdom teeth extraction, this is the place to go! I had all four of mine removed (bottom two were impacted, top two had cavities) and the procedure went seamlessly. I went to sleep, woke up, and all four were gone! He did an excellent job as I barely felt any pain afterwards. I didn’t even have to use the norco, only the ibuprofen was needed. What’s also excellent about this place is how he gives you a thorough consultation beforehand so you know exactly what to expect and he does it in such an efficient and caring manner. He gives you instructions to follow beforehand and afterwards and as long as you follow them, you should have no problems!

I’ve been to many doctors offices and by far my experience here has been among the best. I came in 10 minutes early and they got me in 5 minutes after that. The staff here were very helpful and cheerful, without the chatty high school girl vibe you usually get from behind the counter. Dr. Rick himself is a standup guy that really seems to like what he does and takes total pride in his dorky spectacle head attachment he walks around the office with. 10/10 would get wisdom teeth pulled again.
