Love the front desk staff. They are efficient and friendly. Dr. Chang is awesome at educating oral hygiene with treatment procedures and his assistants are helpful during the whole process. Easy recommendation.

Dr. Chang is a wonderful Doctor . He has been my dentist for more than 20 years. Dr. Chang is a wonderful person. He is dedicated to his profession. I’m sending my sister to Dr. Chang . I tried a different dentist because my insurance changed. I went to La Cost Dentistry and orthodontics in the new shopping center.  This company has practiced fraud. I wanted a teeth cleaning. I paid my $5 copayment and they offered a “free” digital X-ray . When leaving the doctors office they said I needed to pay an extra $345. Which I stupidly paid. I was very upset. I went back to Dr. Chang and told him the story. He looked at the Digital X-ray and said only a few of my teeth were X-rayed the rest were merely pictures of my teeth. He also said you were charged for a filling which I didn’t get nor did I need. When I protested about my bill they told me that I had a good Deal they were charging the dental insurance $1200. Be warned senior citizens not all dentist are made alike . I dropped the insurance and returned to an honest doctor who has integrity ,and  that would be Dr.Chang.

Where do I even begin,  If I could give Dr. Chang and all of his office staff more stars I would.  I was in search of a new dentist and very hesitant about it since I have not had the best experience in the past with previous dentists/staff.  I found Dr. Chang on Yelp and decided to give him a try after reading the other reviews. I was having tooth pain on a tooth a previous dentist had done a filling on years ago, Dr. Chang decided it was in need of a root canal.  They opened the office an hour early on Monday to fit me in as soon as possible.  Everyone in the office is so nice and caring and always concerned about your comfort. I have never waited long to be seen and they have 5pm appointments so I don’t have to miss work.  I cannot say enough good things about this place and to top it off the office is immaculate.

I‘ve experienced nothing but excellent service. The expertise of Dr Chang is excellent and he has never tried to sell me something beyond what I needed at the time which is very refreshing compared to other dentists. His staff are friendly and professional. It is truly an optimal experience.

Today was my very first visit to this office & I haven’t been to a dentist in several years. Everything, from start to finish, was absolutely perfect!! Rachel, the receptionist, was very professional & friendly. She has a very welcoming personality & a beautiful smile. Aubrey, the dental hygienists was amazing. She was extremely thorough & explained, in great detail, all that she was doing. She was very gentle & made me feel very comfortable. Dr.Chang was also very thorough, took his time with me & explained the condition of my teeth, which he said were in great shape. I am extremely happy with my visit & I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone whose looking for a reasonable, outstanding dentist.

My first visit here I forget who helped me( I think Diane) but she was so sweet and caring when cleaning my teeth and she engaged in conversation with me the whole time knowing I wouldn’t be able to respond back with an open mouth and she didn’t make me feel anxious for not responding just pure sweetness! I recently broke my front tooth to the point where my nerve was showing. Dr. Chang immediately declared it a emergency and within a few hours I had a PAIN FREE root canal by Dr. Plaitano, who talked me through everything as he was doing assuring me I would feel little to no pain. I seriously was so scared and worried because I’ve always heard about how painful they are and I didn’t feel a thing! I was totally SHOCKED, I didn’t believe the procedure was even over! I kept waiting for the point where I would feel pain and say ouch but it never happened! The dental assistants are such sweet lady’s as well, Nelly has been helping me and gave me my temporary tooth and I couldn’t tell it was a fake/temporary tooth at all! When I showed my family and friends and they couldn’t tell which one it was! We actually all thought it was my permanent tooth because of how great it looked. Today I  finally cemented in my permanent crown by Dr. Chang and DA Nelly and again it was pain free! They are more than helpful when ever I ask questions and gave great advice for after treatment and taking care of the crown, they never make me feel like I’m bothering them or they’re in a rush to help the next patient when I bother them with questions. I must also give credit to the front desk lady’s for always being so welcoming and kind when I walk in. Their whole team overall just has great hospitality! Thank you so much and thank you for showing up to work every day in the midst of a pandemic!! When I arrived today Evelyn let me know that she was going to take my temperature this showed me the safety precautions they take to ensure the safety of their staff and patients. Well, long story short I used to hate the dentist due to fear and now I trust Oceanside Dental Arts so much my dentist anxiety is no longer!

The team at Oceanside Dental Arts is phenomenal. I’m a long time customer and can’t say enough about Dr. Chang. He’s great with kids as well as our young adult kids, who need some serious reminders occasionally, and us. I hated going to the dentist as a kid, no problems now.

Been going here for going on seven years now, and will continue to for the foreseeable future. It is definitely the best office I have been to. Friendly and honest staff that make no attempt to exploit clients with unnecessary procedures.

One of the best dentists I have been to. They are so nice and very professional. The dental hygienist was so gentle and I absolutely loved Dr. Chang, even the ladies at the front desk were so sweet and welcoming. I felt like i was in the best of hands and that they didn’t miss a thing. Another huge plus is I didn’t feel like they were being pushy or trying to sell me on services like I have felt in the past at other dental offices. I’m so thankful to have found them and now my entire family uses Oceanside Dental Arts.

Dr. Chang and his staff treat their patients with such care! The office is very nice and clean! The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. They were all so kind. Defiantly a family friendly place with exception and care from Dr. Chang to the staff.
