Outstanding dental care from check-in to post visit follow-up. Hanna, Jessica, and Marilee at the front desk combine congeniality with competent professionalism in checking-in patients, billing, and insurance questions. The dentists and dental hygienists create a relaxed atmosphere which is no easy task given the stress and anxiety many have concerning oral healthcare. If you have issues which require treatment beyond their scope, they provide excellent referrals for everything from braces to gum restoration. If you want quality dental care with a front office medical staff for billing and insurance processing, this is the dental practice for you. Dr. O’Kane, Dr. Monssen, and Dr. Michel exhibit the best qualities in both patient care and just getting to you know you as a person. Extremely kid friendly and focused with a large set of movies/documentaries for them to watch or you can bring your own DVD to relax your child during the procedure.

Almost every member of our family of five has been a patient at O’Kane and Monssen since we were old enough to see the dentist. I know it sounds cliché, but we have been going to this practice for so long, that they almost feel like family when we go to our regularly scheduled visits. The front desk staff, hygienists, Dr. Monssen and Dr. O’Kane take the time to get to know us personally and they do an outstanding job with our dental care. Our youngest child was very apprehensive (and put up quite a stink!) when he first began seeing the dentist and our sweet hygienist handled the situation beautifully! They are accommodating in helping us schedule appointments when it is convenient for us. I would highly recommend them.

The Doctors and Hygienists here are top notch. If you ever dreaded going to the dentist for your checkups or procedures, this is definity the place to go. Everyone here cares personally about accommodating your potential discomforts. They will even teach you how to get into the crevices between your teeth at home if needed. Or suggest ways of improving your daily brushing routines based on plaque patterns they find.

Simply the best dental experience I have had in my more than 70 years of visiting a dental office (and I have worn braces three times in my life, had a number of crowns, bridges, and even root canals). Also, in the past I have had to take a sedative or use nitrous oxide, even for a cleaning. With this office, I do not have to use anything. I do have dental insurance but it is not as good as what I have had in the past and they help me use it wisely. They simply are as good as it gets in addition to being friendly and caring.

Everyone is great here. I tend to get very nervous and tense at the dentist and they are good at helping me relax, explaining what they are doing and why. There is a discount for cash/check which I appreciate, not having dental insurance. I trust Dr. O’Kane and all the hygienists. The hygienists are also efficient and friendly. If they have learned something new about how to brush etc. they pass it on. The office staff is also friendly and remember me when I come in even though it’s six months apart.

As a health care professional, I understand the importance of professionalism, expertise, and how to take really good care of one’s patient/client. From my first appointment with Dr. Casey (Dr. O’Kane’s father) back in the day, to my current visits with Dr. Monssen and Carol I am treated with the best of care. It is a very well run office with the staff being very helpful and pleasant, my appointments are set up well in advance, there is no wait time, and my experience in the chair is actually relaxing because I know how gentle and thorough Carol is. I look forward to seeing Dr. Monssen as well. He is the kindest person you could ever meet and he always goes the extra mile to take care of my dental needs. Dr. Kristi had checked my chart ahead of time so was aware of the issue. So she ate lunch early in order to have time to build a temporary crown for me, after my cleaning, over her usual lunch hour. pulled off a gold crown on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. I called early Tuesday morning and was scheduled in for a “fix it” a few hours later. Met a new dentist and she did a very good job. Crown was recemented and no fuss no pain! I have been going here for dental work for several years and have been very happy with the way I was treated, the expertise of both the hygienist and the dentist, the front desk team, and the quality of work. I am definitely not happy with the quality of teeth with which I was born!

Don’t even think about going to another dentist or dental office! My dentist, Dr. O’Kane, is a top notch dentist whose knowledge, professionalism and “bedside manner” is equal to none. It is clear that these doctors keep up with the lastest methods and technology. The entire staff are warm and welcoming and always look happy which, to me, means a high morale exists.
