As a longtime patient of Dr. Macias, I was sad to hear of his retirement. But many of his staff remain and the new staff that have joined them are wonderful. Everyone makes you feel at ease and that you are in good hands. My oral hygienist was very attentive to a sensitive tooth that I have and gave me lots of care advice before my exam. Dr. Edvin was the dentist that performed the exam and was very gentle. I had really been dreading the visit because of this sensitive tooth, but everyone made sure that I was comfortable. I will definitely be staying with Olive Family Dentistry!

As someone who has major anxiety with anything involving teeth I was way over due for my cleaning. So I was really glad I found Olive Family Dentistry. I needed a deep cleaning broken into sessions and Rita was so kind and patient and put me at ease! As did every person I came in contact with! As far as billing, the front desk (who are also so welcoming and awesome!) accidentally over charged me on one visit and I didn’t even pay attention or realize it until they called me after to let me know their mistake. I really appreciated them catching it and correcting it as I probably wouldn’t have caught it on my own. I have nothing but good things to say about this office!

Absolutely amazing in every way. My sister recommended OFD so I knew right off the bat I was in good hands. The front staff is so friendly and accommodating. I was terrified to see a dentist (I always am). The hygienist alone deserves 100 stars, she was so gentle, friendly and informative. I kept anticipating the hard part but it just never came. This is the first time I have had a pain free experience and I and I will never go anywhere else for a cleaning. The nurses were so kind and put all of my fears at ease, I never felt judged. The Dentist was amazing!!! he really took the time to explain what I needed and really listened to my needs. Last but not least Helen and Benny in the front desk were so great. They were so helpful. They were very accommodating with scheduling and just really took the time to answer all of questions, explain my benefits and pricing in detail. I broke a front tooth on Sunday night and had a perfect placement installed within 3 days…….this is the best customer service I’ve experienced with a dental office in a VERY long time…..and this is after trying numerous other dentists in Burbank over the last 20 years. Had an emergency toothache that put me on the verge of almost pulling out my own tooth and if you know me you probably know that the dentist is my least favorite doctor to see. Dr. Dimitre and Dr. Edvin are kind, patient, gentle and always professional, as are the assistants and the front office staff. Helen the office manager even went out of her way for me on Christmas Eve. I called and left a message and she called me back when my crown broke into pieces the day before Christmas. They were going to be closed through the Christmas Holiday to remodel the office, so she called around for me to other dentists and found me someone who would see me. She even called me to follow up that I was going to be taken care of. That was above and beyond!

Where do I start… after many years of not having proper dental care ( enter excuses here ) It was finally time to fix my teeth while I still can. I knew that I was in need of ALOT OF WORK !! I read many reviews, from several different Dentists, and ultimately found myself at OLIVE FAMILY DENTISTRY. From the very first visit last year, up to my visit today, I have felt very fortunate that I found such a wonderful dental practice. I have had extensive work done at this office. (My mouth is a virtual construction zone !! ) I started with a deep cleaning… 2 visits. I have had a couple cavities filled. I have had three crowns permanently installed. I am also the proud recipient of 2 dental implants… Still in progress. I won’t bore you with the details of my tooth extractions, and bone grafting, suffice it to say, I have had a heck of a lot of work done so far !! Speaking from what I feel is a wealth of experience, especially with this dental office, I cannot speak highly enough of their Skilled Expertise, Professionalism, Wonderful Demeanor, And Just High Quality Dental Care. Full disclosure… I have to say, there has been some minor discomfort due to the degree of work I have had done. Also quite uncomfortable for the Wallet, this amount of work does take a financial commitment. However, this review is being written by a genuinely very satisfied patient. Even though I am spending many thousands of dollars, and many months missing teeth ( also part of the commitment required if you really want implants ) I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER !! In closing, I would be remiss if I did not mention everybody by name. Dr. Edvin is so skilled… he is able to accomplish an amazing amount of work in such a short period of time. I could not be more impressed. I know I’m in great hands. Sooo lucky to have him handling my many major issues. Anoush his assistant has like 30 years of experience in a dental office, and it definitely shows !! She handles everything deftly, and with confidence. Her voice of experience definitely helps put my mind at ease. Alina is the dental Higienist ( yes I did look up the spelling, ha ha ) that did my deep cleanings and gum maintenance is ridiculously thorough !! Just amazing attention to detail. So obvious that she really does care. My teeth have never been so darn clean. Last, but most certainly not least… Helen and Benny in the front office are just the best !! Always polite and courteous, extremely helpful, Super sweet. Happy to explain billing, help me with emergency appointments when needed, I could go on. Thank you sincerely to everybody at OFD. YOU ARE AWESOME !! My dentist office for life. ** Updated Review 07/15/20. I just received two of my new teeth installed into my implants today… YAY !! Beyond ecstatic… Perfect fit. Dr. Edvin has been there for me every step of the way. I will keep it short, everyone in his office is a Gem !! I will update my review again in six months or so when I receive my final two implants.
