Dr. Lee is hands down the best dentist in the LA area. I come from the Thousand Oaks area and sometimes drive over an hour just because I know I’ll be getting quality service. He genuinely cares about you and is constantly asking you for feedback throughout the treatment to see if you are comfortable. His staff reflects the same warmness that Dr. Lee has as well! I did not think I’d ever say this but at 44 years old, I am finally okay with going to the dentist office. I used to be terrified, but Dr. Lee makes it so much more bearable. Highly recommended! Been coming here since I was 6 years old and I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Lee is always so caring and meticulous with his work. Painless too! He is always honest and trustworthy, shows in that I’ve been coming here for 18 years! There is a small parking lot on Olympic and 2 hr street parking in front! Convenient and located on Olympic in between Valencia and Grattan St.

Dr. Lee and his staff are amazing. I’ve been coming here for the past 20 years! He genuinely cares about each patient and is very knowledgeable about his field. I feel secure and confident that he will take good care of my teeth every time I get a check up done. He is gentle and super friendly. The staff is also very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. They have Korean, Spanish, and English-speaking staff which is also super helpful especially in this area.

THE BEST. Dr. Lee is very gentle, uses plenty of anesthetic, and really waits for it to sink in before doing any work. I made a yelp account just to sing his praise. He replaced a filling put in by another dentist, which required drilling out about 40% of my tooth. I didn’t feel a thing, he was patient and took his time to make sure the job was done right. He didn’t try to sell me on anything, was very conservative with his care and my teeth.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Lee for a few years now for everything from routine cleanings to a gold crown for a cracked molar. I first found him via a rave review from a work colleague. My friend described him as friendly, professional, and honest. I’ve found this all to be true. He’s really a fantastic dentist. I like that he tends more towards conservative management. He won’t try to pressure you into any unnecessary procedures, and the sense you get is that he really has your best interests at heart. The office is small but welcoming and clean with a friendly staff. There’s a convenient parking lot right behind the office, which you can access right from Olympic. In the last year he added this nifty wand camera that takes super high resolution photos of your tooth so he can show you exactly what’s going on. Very cool.

If I had just TWO words to describe Dr. Lee, it would be warm and gentle. Dr. Lee genuinely tries his very best to provide the best dental care he can. He provides a nearly painless visit and explains every procedure thoroughly. Before every procedure, you will be 100% aware of whatever costs await you at the end of your visit. The office manager is also very helpful and will give you all information regrading next visits, fees, etc. I have been his patient for over fifteen years now and I have not a single thought of leaving his office! I don’t even know how to thank Dr Lee! I had an emergency root canal done here after much pain I was experiencing. The doctor was extremely gentle and careful it was literally a pain free procedure even went to work that same day!! Went to Dr. Lee for the first time today. Easily made a Saturday appointment on short notice for my 6 month cleaning. Had easy parking behind his office which his scheduler told me about when calling to confirm my appointment. Quick and professional staff. Dr. Lee was thorough and personable. He performed my cleaning himself and was very concerned with my comfort level. Took extra time to clean my coffee stains. Didn’t do any hard selling regarding extra work. All of his equipment seemed more-or-less modern. The office itself isn’t anything special (a little dingy actually), but it probably reflects the fact that he doesn’t do any hard selling of frivolous dental work. Overall, couldn’t ask for more from a dental visit.

My first appt here with Dr. Lee and I have to say, I really like this office. It’s been very hard to find a great dentist and I’m glad that I found a dentist who listened to my concerns, he made suggestions on a couple of cavities he found and broke down what he wants to start with. He also told me about his concerns with my cavities and the preventative care he wants to do so I don’t lose or have to get another crown for my teeth. His staff Sylvia and Gabby are very friendly and informative. I appreciate their help and Dr. Lee’s help. I will definitely come back for my txs here. Maybe will even post another review on the progress of things.

This is absolutely the best dental office in the La/Koreatown/Downtown area. Dr. Lee is professional and experienced, but above all things, he provides a warm, hospitable experience for his patients. I was one of those people who avoided the dentist for 10 years. Because of that, I ended up having 10 cavities in my mouth, one for each year, I guess… Dr. Lee quickly filled up all of my cavities in 5 short visits, each one taking less than 45 minutes. Throughout the process, he was meticulous, precise, and responsive. He also provides clear communication during every step, and informs you on how to maintain good dental hygiene. Before this experience, I was unaware of how simple and painless dental procedures could be. Lastly, I appreciated how all of the staff members, from the Front Desk lady to the dental assistants, were cordial and responsive during every visit. They kindly streamlined a process that would’ve been a grueling experience elsewhere. Would highly recommend Olympic Family Dentistry to anyone seeking dental care.

If you’re like most people, you probably hate going to the dentist, even if it’s for a routine teeth cleaning/examination. I procrastinated for almost four years before I finally decided to go because my teeth were in dire need of a thorough cleaning. My wife searched for a dentist in the downtown LA area that was open on Saturdays and was referred to Dr Lee’s office by another dental office. She was so pleased with his work and caring, down to earth personality that I ended up going to his office to have my dental work done. There’s free two hour street parking directly in front of his office, along with parking spaces for a few cars next to the building (it’s easy to miss so you may end up having to drive around the block). I’ve relied on Yelp for years and have never posted a review until now because I was surprised that no one else has recommended Dr Lee; he is a fantastic dentist and does a great job. If you have low/no pain tolerance (like my wife and I) and your blood pressure jumps 30 points when you even think about going to a dentist, he’s the one to see.
