Gary Findley and his team break all the dental stereotypes. They are fun to be with, not boring. They are surprisingly good at avoiding pain, instead of serving it up in generous portions. They have very high standards. And they serve up good tunes in their office, not mind-numbing Muzak! This is a team that is focused on delighting patients through better-than-expected outcomes, getting patients in immediately when they have urgent needs, and superb dentistry aesthetics. Today is the first time I have been to this dentist, they all were so amazing from start to finish. I have been looking for a dentist and gave up because I have never had nothing but horrible experiences. These people really care and listen and aren’t out for the money. They were kind and they did not hurt me at all like a lot have. They all have great personalities and are so friendly and went over everything with me. Very comfortable place. They also were so great with x-raying me as I gag and have a small mouth and have a very hard time with them and did not make me feel like I should handle it. I did not have to wait and I also got an appointment very fast when I needed to get in since I had lost a crown. Great job everyone!! I will tell my friends and family, so glad I found you!!

I called last minute and managed to get an appointment the next day. I was referred by a colleague of mine who has been coming here for years. I usually hate dentist visits but the Dr who cleaned my teeth (Sorry I forgot her name!) was great. She was gentle, and so accommodating with my sensitive teeth. She kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable. I was in and out of the place in less than an hour. The best part is they are open on the weekends and evenings! This place is perfect for working professionals who can’t afford to take time off. I will definitely return just for the extended hours alone.

Came in to try to resolve some pain below my cheekbone. Ended up having to have a tooth extracted. The staff here treated me with 100% care. I can’t remember names but from the receptionist working to get discrepancies with my insurance resolved to the assistant reassuring me that I was in good hands and the doctor who extracted the tooth. They blew away any previous fears I’ve had of dentists.

Dr. Tidwell was amazing! A true artist of dentistry, fixed a tooth problem that three others before him could not fix. He was extremely nice, honest, and very fair on price. I just moved here and didn’t have a clue as to which dentist to use. Over the holiday weekend I was in serve pain from a tooth that needed a root canal and I needed help fast. I chose Olympus purely off of google reviews and they were great! They were able to get me on their super busy schedule and even did the root canal same day. The dentist used a numbing topical before giving me shots, which was such a plus for someone that hates dental work and I’ve never had any other dentist do that. On top of everything, the price was way better then the three previous prices given to me for this same percedure.

I was so nervous about going to get my teeth fixed, for a filling that fell out and an abscess tooth. But immediately upon meeting the techs and doctor, I knew I found the right place! They were so kind and funny, it was the first time I’ve ever felt comfortable at a dentist office. Everyone I met was so nice and they helped so much. For the one problem that they’re unable to fix, they’re referring me to the right doctor who can take care of it. I’m just still so happy that I’ve found my forever dentist because the techs made me feel so at home; they treated me like family without question. I can’t say good enough things about this office. First off, the staff is always warm and friendly when dealing with them in any capacity. Dr Tidwell is truly the best dentist I have ever encountered. I couldn’t even begin to name all the pocket gougers I have come across in dentistry. He is HONEST and will always tell you the thing to do to save you money. He cares about his patients first and foremost, and goes above and beyond to make sure you are getting the best and most affordable care. His work is phenomenal and he saved me thousands and thousands by giving me options that I’ve never had offered before. What can I say, I have beautiful teeth and a lighter pocket book. It was my first visit here. I was coming based on a recommendation. I had my teeth cleaned by Cammie and she is amazing. My dentist retired and I was very spoiled by him. I keep searching for his replacement but so far no luck. I agree with the other review that their front desk people are horrible. They are young and apparently have had no training in Customer Service My Mom had an appointment right after me but despite calling way in advance they told her they didn’t take her insurance and we’re so rude to her I loved Cammie but the other issues are probably too big to ignore. To the Dentists of this practice I hope you read this. Your front desk and manager need help before you go out of business There are many to choose from so please fix it

Dr. Tidwell and the staff at Olympus View are always, ALWAYS top shelf and amazing to deal with. When you’re in the most pain imaginable, and in tears they somehow still make the dental experience a good one- I know first hand. I drive 45 minutes to an hour to go to their office, and I always will. Full disclosure I tried to switch to a closer dentist a couple years ago, and went straight back to Dr. Tidwell to get a 2nd opinion… I told him all work the other dentist said I really needed. He explained why the other dentist told me that, although he would do something different in my situation and more importantly he gave me the why story… Not to mention his advice saved me $1500 as my insurance max was met at that time. I trust him. He’s honest and has your best interest in mind. If you’re considering switching to a new dentist my advice is call them, call them right now. You won’t regret it.

They are busy, so getting a quick appointment can be tricky, but I haven’t had any problems. This was my first time there. The appointment went very well. The wait time in the waiting room was very short, (I barely had filled out my paperwork when they called me in). Tammara did an excellent job examining and cleaning my teeth and took the time to explain everything she was doing. Dr. Tidwell came in and also examined my teeth and checked on the job that Tammara had done. He was friendly, professional and explained in detail the health of my teeth and suggested courses of action for the future.

My daughter was less than 2 years old and chipped both her front teeth. I was horrified, & every pediatric dentist said they could shave them a little, but nothing else could be done. My friend referred me to Dr. Tidwell & he put bondings on her teeth that made them look better than before she broke them. They are holding up great & they were so fast & professional. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Tony Tidwell, the founder of Olympus View Dental, grew up in Tullahoma, Tennessee. After serving as a missionary in Scotland and Ireland, he completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University, where he met and married his wife, Kathy Smith. When he completed dental school in Tennessee, they chose to return to Utah to raise their growing family. They now have four daughters and 10 grandchildren. He and his family enjoy water and snow skiing and most outdoor sports. Dr. Tidwell is an avid bicycle rider. “I may be a Clydesdale, but I can lug myself up any canyon in this beautiful state.” Dr. T” has been in practice for 34 years. He served 8 years on the Salt Lake County and Utah State Boards of health and received the Distinguished Service Award for his work on Fluoridation in Utah. In 2002 he received the Utah Dentist of the Year Award from the Utah Dental Association and in 2003 he was inducted into the International College of Dentistry. Our office is devoted to providing patients and families with the most comfortable dental experience possible. We provide complete dental care to all ages. As one of the first emergency dentists in the state, Dr. Tidwell has become an expert at quickly relieving all kinds of oral pain. He has advanced training in implants, grafts, dentures, root canals, and implant supported cosmetic crown and bridge. “I understand that comfort, quality and affordability are my patients’ main concerns. My first priority is always to inform the patient of their options and to efficiently and economically provide the best treatment.
