So i was recommended by my boyfriend to see Dr. Nguyen. After about a year, I decide its time… to write a review 🙂 First off, his staff, Rosalind is probably the only friendly and helpful receptionist I’ve meet in the Dentistry environment. She is extremely easy to talk to and makes you feel very welcomed. She’s knowledgeable. I needed to be referred to an Orthodontics. She recommended a few places for me. Although, I didn’t choose any of them (due to financial problems); she was honest enough to tell me how braces work and the pain i’ll feel; etc. I really appreciate her help. Second, Dr. Nguyen is probably one of the nicest doctor I have. (in the dentistry area). I always had such a bad experience with Dentists. Ever since I was 5 years old, I switched Dentists at least 6 times. Never found the right one. But now… I FOUND IT! He’s so friendly; knowledgeable and answers any questions I have. I love watching movies while he does my teeth. He’s very gentle with my teeth and takes his time. I prefer quality and he definitely has it. Service here is great! I recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone who requires great services, friendly and knowledgeable staff/Doctor.

I have been to 4 dentists in my life and Dr. Nguyen is by far the best. I went in for a routine cleaning. His assistant was very fast taking my x-rays. Dr. Nguyen then took pictures of my teeth for a before and after evaluation. He did a great job cleaning my teeth. He was very meticulous and gentle. He took time to answer my questions. I was very happy with my experience and will certainly be returning in 6 months!

As a kid I hated going to the dentist. Worst experience of my childhood, since I’ve always had to be strapped down. Going to orchids dental care I wad extremely nervous, but as soon as I walked in I felt welcome and at ease. The receptionist name Ross is always helpful, she helps you make your appointment and even calls you the day before to remind you! Now the Dr Nguyen is the nicest doctor I have ever met. He’s really funny but gentle, he will not pressure you in doing anything if you’re not comfortable. This place is clean and new! Also during your procedures you either get go listen to music or watch a movie. I definitely recommend this place!

I knocked the bonding off my front tooth while on vacation and called Dr Nguyen’s office and was connected to Stephanie who couldn’t have been more helpful. They got me in immediately this morning and Dr Nguyen did a fantastic job fixing up my front tooth. He’s clearly a perfectionist and took great care into making sure it was as close to perfect as possible. He repeatedly checked the color so that it matched perfectly and that all angles of the tooth looked as good as possible. I’m so appreciative that I was able to find this practice out here!

Most people are scared or even hate dentists but Dr. Nguyen can make you feel at ease. His delicate touch and bedside manners makes your experience pleasant and painless. I had a crown fall off one late Friday evening. I called his office frantically the next morning. I was able to see him the same day. Unlike most other dentists who would have just recemented the crown and made a quick buck, Dr. Nguyen identified a problem and referred me to an Endodontist that would help with an old root canal before recementing my crown. He was thorough with his examination and explanation on what my course of action would be. After seeing the Endodontist he referred me to I went back to him to get my crown recemented. Again his delicate touch made the process quick and painless. I’ve found a dentist for life and would recommend him to anyone including my family.

This place only deserves 5 star. It is hard to find a legit caring dentist, is literally impossible to find here in the OC. Dr. Nguyen is the most friendly person I have ever encounter. He take his time cleaning my teeth and would recommend when I need my cavities taken care of. I trust him out of every dentist place I had visit. I live by tons of dentist place, but choose this place upon reviews and they do live up to it. The staff here is cool people.

Always a smooth experience starting with the front desk they make you feel welcomed and is very helpful with answering questions regarding insurance and following up back with you on appointments. Doctors and staff are great definitely will continue coming here. The best experience with a dental office and dentist in a very very long time. They developed a plan in a matter of minutes and before I knew it we had 1/2 of my mouth taken care of. Super nice staff and dentist. Best experience ever. I came here after reviewing a list of dentists that work with my insurance. I was hesitant to get a dentist in the area because I live nowhere close to it. I moved recently and picking this dentist meant having to make a commute as my work schedule doesn’t allow for weekday visits. I regret nothing. I have been here 2x 1) for a routine cleaning and check up and 2) for a wisdom tooth extraction. Both times the service has been great. When I had the tooth removed the Doctor was very gentle and it was obvious he knew what he was doing as I truly did not feel it. I hadn’t noticed the tooth was out when he said I was all done. I hope that I can keep this as my dentist for years to come and will be recommending Orchid Dental to everyone I know. I am more than willing to make a 45 minute commute just to get dental work here.

I have been to Orchid Dental for all of my dental needs. I have always been very happy with the results. I have very healthy teeth so besides routing checkups, cleaning and occasional fillings, there’s really not much else that needs to be done to my teeth. So my brother is getting married this month and I decided to get my teeth whitened for all the beautiful single ladies at the wedding. Dr. Nguyen said my teeth were A1 and I probably would not notice much of a difference even with professional whitening but I still decided to go with it. I didn’t realize that teeth whitening was such a lengthy and labor-intensive process. Fortunately one of the best features at Orchid Dental is the big LCD TV’s that play TV or movies of your choice while your teeth are being operated on. So I watched “I am Number Four” with Rosalind, Dr. Nguyen’s assistant. The movie, by the way, I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. With my mouth wide-open during the whitening process, I tried to restrain myself from laughing and choking myself to death throughout the movie because it was a typical teen flick. A lot of people told me that whitening procedure could be a very painful experience. I noticed that Dr. Nguyen and Rosalind spent a long time building some kind of hardened shield around my gum to ensure that my teeth are the only things being whitened. To my surprise, the experience was more pleasant than using the over-the-counter Crest whitening strips. By the time the procedure was completed, I was watching the movie’s ending credits. The procedure was that long even though it didn’t feel like it since there was no discomfort and I was totally immersed in the movie. When they showed me the results afterwards, I noticed that my teeth were noticeably whiter. I thought, “ok that’s cool.” However, when I got into my car and checked out my teeth in the rear view mirror, I was totally blown away by how white my teeth became under bright sunlight. I am so proud of my whitening result and I’m sure the ladies will appreciate it too. Orchid Dental’s overall experience and value surpass any dentist I have ever visited. I highly recommended it.

Let’s say it’s not too often that you stumble upon a competent doctor in an area of town surrounded by other doctors. The place is always clean, and they provide you with tv while they are operating. Most importantly, the doctor is seriously there to help you. He wants to see improvement, not money first. It’s hard to describe but of all the dentists that I have been to, this place is the most comfortable, if not legit and cozy. I have already made several visits there and as long as I am still living nearby, I will be returning to Orchid Dental Care.

I found this place on (the internet), saw the reviews and decided to go here since it’s near my house. Very new and modern dentistry. Staff is super nice! While you are sitting in the chair getting your X-rays done, you get to see all your X-rays on a TV screen. Whatever procedure you are scheduled to do, you’ll happily be watching a movie to distract you from the work being done on your teeth. Dr. Khoi is very honest and has an upbeat personality. I inquired about teeth whitening and he said that it makes your teeth and gums really sensitive, so that could be a little bit of an annoyance. You might as well buy white strips for cheaper the price. I appreciated his honesty. Definitely will be going here for future check ups, and highly recommend to all.

I was referred to Dr. Nguyen by a random stranger on Facebook. After going to him, I decided to bring my ENTIRE family over. Mom, dad, husband, sister, aunt… you name it. My husband hates dental services in general but have complimented how awesome Dr. Nguyen is. Here’s what he gotta say: Dr. Nguyen always takes his time cleaning my teeth and answers all of my questions. He does not judge what insurance you have and will go above and beyond to make sure the service provided satisfies the patient. I went to another dentist for cleaning and he’d never fill my teeth. Dr. Nguyen filled them for me today and I left feeling like I just got my old set of healthy teeth back. You ever been to a car mechanic who tells you like it is, never tries to up-sell you, and even takes the time to fix the minor stuff to make the whole appointment a great experience? That’s Dr. Nguyen with teeth!!! I cannot thank you enough for the professionalism that you bring your patients!

I’m a fairly new patient of Dr. Nguyen but I have to say so far every visit has been beyond pleasant. He and his assistant are so cheery and seem to be glad to be there. He took time to explain the work I needed to have done and they worked to help me as affordable as possible.
Our office is completely new! Featuring the latest equipment and amenities to provide our patients with the upmost care and comfort. *We have video and audio systems in all our rooms *comfortable digital X-ray (no more sharp edges that dig into your gums) *Intra-oral camera (to help you see how your health is as well as how our work is) *ultra-sonic scalers (to help remove plaque and calculus- don't settle for a quick polish as a 'cleaning'). I come from a family of many healthcare providers who have had a major impact on who I am; from doctors, to pharmacists, and dentists. It may sound cliche but I have always known that I would be a dentist ever since I was little. However, I never understood the importance of what I do or how rewarding it can be until I had the to opportunity to help Mrs D.B., my first edentulous patient. Mrs. D.B. had lost all her teeth for a long time before coming to see me. As such, her treatment was fairly complicated and lasted several weeks from the planning phase to delivery. I remember on the day her treatment was completed I was so shocked to see Mrs. D.B. literally cried with tears of joy in my chair just thinking of what she has regained. It was then that I realized the true impact of my profession. Good oral hygiene and oral health is so crucial in many aspects of our everyday life that we take for granted; from being able to eat your favorite food and getting the nutrition that you need, to being able to speak and smile with confidence. I keep the pictures of Mrs. D.L. with me after all these years as a reminder of why I love my profession and of my commitment to helping my patients obtain and maintain their optimal oral health.
