Dr. Lentfer is absolutely fabulous. We had taken our daughter (who experiences special needs) to a few dentists prior, none of whom were able to examine her teeth. Granted, our daughter can be quite difficult when being touched anywhere near her face, but Dr. Lentfer was like a magic wizard. She moved quickly around my daughter’s mouth, had tools to use to distract her, and was able to diagnose several cavities and other conditions in her mouth. Also, most importantly, she coordinated her schedule with another doctor to be able to do dental work on my daughter at Riverbend hospital under anaesthesia. No one was willing to do this for us. With young children, it’s obviously not advisable to have to sedate multiple times, so being able to have different doctors do different procedures on her under the same sedation was a blessing for our family. Dr. Lentfer was so kind and considerate to take the time out of her busy practice to schedule this kind of surgery for my daughter. She has two young children of her own, and I am in awe that she is able to run a successful and highly skilled dentistry while being a young mom. We are so grateful to her and her staff for what she did for us.

I called Oregon kids to get my daughter evaluated for a tongue tie. We had seen multiple pediatricians without any definitive answers and were feeling very stressed as new parents. Their office staff was understanding of our struggles and found a spot the next day for us! Dr. Lentfer had first hand experience with tongue ties with her own children so she knew exactly what we were going through and made us feel heard. The procedure was done that day and the follow up visits were scheduling. Overall Oregon kids dental provided superb customer service and oral care to my daughter and gave me, a very sleep deprived new mom, some peace and sanity. Super thankful to them!

This place is absolutely amazing! Knowledgeable staff, sanitary office and great dentist. My kids actually love going to the dentist now. They have always been well prepared for our visits, and eager to answer any and all questions. The staff was even current on young kid shows, so they were able to really connect with my toddler! He was right at home watching Cars and then getting a popsicle. If you go here you’ll definitely be happy! Greatest Dentist!

Oh my gosh. Where to start. I took my 3 year old girl to see Dr. Lentfer after a bad experience with a different office. So my kid was very nervous going in. Everyone was so patient and kind! My girl was in control of her limits and Dr. L was more than happy to go the extra mile to make her comfortable. We got in the car after this awesome visit and my daughter is EXCITED to go back! She is patient, compassionate, kind, open minded, knowledgeable, and I love that she uses ozone and the safest materials for her patients. My daughter was fortunate enough to have an appointment while one of the therapy dogs was in for a visit, and she loved that! We have taken my newly 3 year old daughter to 2 different offices several times and she never lets anyone near her. She flips out and they can’t even look in her mouth. It was a miracle bringing her to Oregon Kids pediatric dentist. They let her touch the tools, showed her what each thing did, stayed patient with her and even played with her. They were able to not only get her to sit in the chair without me, they brushed her teeth, got x rays, and got a very good look! I was in awe. I am so so thankful to have found them ❤

I am so glad I found this amazing office! After a not so great first appointment somewhere else I decided to search for an office that wouldn’t traumatize my toddler (raise your hand if you wish your childhood dentist was better) My pediatrician recommended Dr Lentfer and I’m so glad she did! Absolutely the Place to take your littles. My 3 week old has/had a tongue and lip tie that they lasered today. They were super helpful in making sure I understood what was happening every step of the way, to ensure I made the right choices for my baby. Very informative, patient, quick, and kind. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!! The staff are absolutely incredible with the kids and the atmosphere is modern, calm, and clean. Dr. Lentfer is incredibly intelligent, professional, and quickly won over my daughter and I. She and her staff made sure to explain all appointments and processes thoroughly for both my daughter and I in a way we both understood, and needless to say Blakely was crazy excited and never scared. Today, Blakely (4yrs) had two fillings done and one again I was blown away by the experience. They all made it so easy for my daughter, and the best part…NO NEEDLES! Dr. Lentfer is one of the few pediatric dentists in Oregon that uses a Solea Dental Laser which eliminates the need for needles in order to numb the patient for the procedure. Can you say hallelujah?! I would recommend Oregon Kids Dentist 10x over!!!

My 2 year old had her first visit yesterday, with Dr. Lentfer and staff. She has sensory sensitivities, and was very scared. They were able to do a lap visit, brush her teeth, examine them, and apply fluoride. They never batted an eye that she was screaming, or when I needed to stop the conversation to try and calm her down. As a mom to a kiddo who has struggles, this was HUGE for me. I was worried we would be judged, and it never once felt that way here. I felt welcomed, and it was a great experience all around. We will definitely be back! Plus, therapy dogs?!? How cool is that!!! Thank you Dr. Lentfer and staff for making our visit as stress free as possible. We even managed a small smile!

Had my 18 month son’s dentist appointment because I had some concerns with his teeth and from the moment we walked in our experience was amazing! We are so happy we switched to Oregon Kids Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Lentfer is absolutely amazing! The dental hygienist and all the staff were wonderful. This was my daughter’s first time to a dentist, and she was terrified. But walking into this office was immediately calming. The waiting room played Disney music, had super comfy chairs, and beautiful paintings on the walls. All the staff were incredibly friendly and relaxed, and the dentists and dental hygienists are so patient, respectful, kind, upbeat, and encouraging with the kids and the adults alike! Every kid that walked out of that office did so smiling, and I honestly think this is the first I I’ve interacted with a pediatric provider that talked to me as an equal instead of an inferior.
