They are a great group of people.  I’ve been with them since the beginning and I’ve stayed with them ever since.  They were even able to work with me even though I didn’t have dental insurance.  Even though I’ve moved to Virginia (DC Metro), I still come back to do my cleanings here, and I also visit family and friends at the same time.  I should eventually find a dentist in Virginia, but for now, I’ll still do my cleanings here.  It’s an excuse to go back to the Bay Area.

I am a new patient, and have been here twice. On the first visit, it was pretty obvious that everyone you talk to here is very focused on making sure that the patient experience is a good one. They carefully explain what they are doing, and give ample opportunities for questions. The office environment is tip-top and very comfortable. Sitting in the waiting area, it was also easy to see that they have plenty of other happy and satisfied patients. I have a rather demanding schedule, and they were able to work with me and set up appointments that worked well with my requirements, and were easy for me to manage. One of the best things for me, is both times I have been there, someone has called me later that day for a follow-up to check with me and make sure I am doing okay. I am a pretty sensitive person and probably potentially difficult at times, and they were able to make me comfortable, and showed me that they are interested in making this the best possible experience. This means a lot to me.

Still the best place dentist in town, if not the Bay Area!  The staff is very friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.  Always feel like I’m visiting a close friend whenever I come by.  And John is great, especially if it is your first time!  They always let you know what they are doing and they are very informative when it comes to taking care of your teeth.  Up until I visited John, all I heard from my former dentist was, “you need to take care of your teeth”.  After one visit with John, I felt like he was a concerned friend just wanting the best for me!  Not to mention all the tv entertainment at your fingertips…

I had been searching for a dentist for a few years now after having bad experiences. I was in major need of removing my wisdom teeth. I moved around a lot after college and never found a good family dentist I felt comfortable coming back to. I either felt like I was being ripped off or they just weren’t very friendly. I wanted to feel at home rather than another case. Luckily, I was referred to John Acosta by a close friend. It was convenient for me living in San Bruno. I dropped by for a quick consultation. He was very friendly and was patient with all of my questions about my wisdom teeth. He explained what needed to be removed and what else can be fixed. It also wasn’t a headache when it came to payment options. I’m very glad I finally found my family dentist, I just hope I don’t end up moving around again.

Awesome!!  Always friendly, professional, and tech savvy.  Love getting the reminders via text, email, calls, auto-add options to my calendar. They’re flexible with my crazy unpredictable work schedule even when policy would dictate cancellation payments. (As long as I’m flexible to fill their other cancellations) They have later hours on some days to accommodate work as well. Did I mention the awesome TVs above every chair so I can finally catch up on My Netflix binges of House of Cards during my cleanings?  Love this place. Almost gave 4 stars for being a Seahawks fan but his wife, who runs the office, is die hard 49ers fan so they cancel each other out.
