End of 2017, I was receiving Invisalign treatment from another orthodontist in the area. When he told me he needed to put in a dental crown on a perfectly healthy tooth, I realized something was wrong. I called Dr. Van for a second opinion, and after conducting a full diagnosis (which he did not charge me for, by the way), he discovered that the root of another one of my teeth had been badly bent by the original orthodontist’s treatment! Dr. Van then immediately called the first orthodontist on my behalf and made it clear that he had to fix this mistake. Only when the first orthodontist refused to help without further charges, Dr. Van performed the operation himself. I am so grateful to Dr. Van for advocating on my behalf even though I was not his patient. It’s clear that he is guided by doing what is right for the patient – in the end, he fixed the crooked root and saved me from installing a dental crown. Dr. Van is a professional of the highest integrity and competence, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs an orthodontist!

Dr. V is amazing and very professional to work with. I saw him when I was in middle school and I am currently post college graduate. I went in for a check-up re: my retainer and it has been more than 12 years since my last visit- let me tell you that the quality of his care has not changed one bit. His office is clean, modern, and friendly. I currently live in Alaska but I waited until I flew in to visit my family then I also stopped by Dr. V’s office. Worth the wait!

I came from a dentist that I had been going to for about 10 years and I transferred my Invisalign treatment. Dr Van den Berg and his team accepted me after a frustrating experience. My Invisalign treatment was to only last 6 months. After two years of bad moldings and trays that didn’t fit, a friend referred me to Dr Van den Berg and he completed my treatment in one swoop! My teeth look and feel great now and I owe it to Dr Van den Berg. With the latest technology, he was able to create the smile I’ve always wanted. I really enjoyed how close him and his team are, and couldn’t help but laugh when I arrived on Halloween to a team of Elvis’s to work on my teeth! Dr VDB accepted me as a an unhappy and frustrated transfer patient who thought my Invisalign treatment was failed. He turned it around in a short a mount of time and I am very pleased with the results.

Updated review: My experience has been nothing but pleasant whenever I walk in the door to Pacific Coast. A year later, and I cannot be more pleased with my results!! Dr. van den Berg is always so sweet every appointment I had- encouraging, positive, and professional. That’s one thing- I would see the Dr. every single appointment. I think that’s very professional and important. Another thing I love about Pacific Coast is their flexibility. I’m a full time worker, and could barely find the time to come in for appointments. They always knew I had to be somewhere so they would be very efficient in a short amount of time. It’s so great to be honored as a client there. You can really feel the love in this office. My results with Invisalign are spectacular. I’m so happy with the way my teeth look. It really is a wonderful experience to look at your smile that you’ve worked so hard on. When I went in for my evaluation I immediately felt comfortable and confident that pacific coast was gonna get the job done. I had been to several places all of which told me my treatment would require several years and a lot of metal appliances in my mouth. But when I came to pacific coast they were able to provide me a treatment that only took a year and a half and no metal was required!!! They were able to correct my awful overbite with Invisalign alighners and I couldn’t be more thankful. I love pacific coast and all that they have done for me and my smile. Avarie Phillips❤️

Dr. Vandenberg and his staff are great!! They have seen me through preparation for jaw osteotomy of my lower jaw and afterwards. Post-op they were very gentle and made sure I was ok before proceeding. My daughter also had braces, a expander and finally no braces with a retainer now !!! The staff is very attentive, always very patient with me and my daughter. They always explain everything before they are going to do it. Everyone is always in a great mood, happy and smiling! I was having some restoration dentistry done and my cosmetic dentist referred me to Dr. Rob Van den Berg, to improve my alignment. His office is equipped with the best digital technology available. He and his entire staff are caring and put the patient first. He explained his treatment plan in an unrushed fashion and answered all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Van den Berg is treating me using Invisalign, a series of clear, almost invisible, smooth plastic trays worn over my teeth which gently shift the teeth into alignment. I change to a new Invisalign tray each week and there is absolutely no pain. It is easy for me to remove the trays to eat anything I want and to brush thoroughly, and then to reinsert them. No one can even tell I am having orthodontic treatment! Dr. Van den Berg is an extremely skilled and compassionate doctor. I am completely satisfied with his treatment and the results. Dr. Van den Berg and his staff are amazing. You feel like family every time you walk in the door. They always ask how is the dog…how is the wife? In addition to the friendliness Dr. V and his assistants took a mouth of adult teeth that were crooked, gapped in the front, growing in so the sides were the top of my teeth and created a very confident smile. I can’t thank them enough for helping me finally get the teeth I have always wanted.

I transferred my Invisalign treatment to Dr. Van den Berg when I moved from out of state. Based on my experience with my previous orthodontist, I thought the treatment was pretty cut and dry–you just follow the outline that Invisalign provides. After meeting with Dr. Van den Berg, I realized this was not the case. His expertise became immediately obvious when he determined tweeks and changes that needed to be made to keep my teeth on track. He even started a brand new treatment with me when it was apparent that the path I was on wasn’t effective enough. He knew immediately when something wasn’t working and took the appropriate steps to course-correct. My teeth were so bad, I only expected them to be “better” than they were, but my results are AMAZING! And, the entire staff is so kind, warm, and friendly. I ALWAYS had a pleasant experience no matter who was assisting me. I can’t thank you all enough!

Dr. van den Berg is one of the best! Not only is he very knowledgeable, he is kind and cares for his patients. My daughter had her braces through this office and she had the best experience…she actually likes going! The staff is always warm and pleasant, which makes going to the orthodontist so much easier. If you need your teeth straightened or whitened, this is the place to come!!

My daughter was 10 when we first saw Dr. Vandenberg, as he was one of 4 orthodontists we went to for an estimate. We lived 35 miles away from his office, but he had been highly recommended and I was dissatisfied with the other assessments, so we decided to try him out. Dr. Vandenberg admitted my daughter would be one of his tougher cases for Invisalign because of her overcrowding, misalignment and other extreme factors, but he assured us his work would produce a beautiful smile. He waited patiently for some more teeth to fall out, fitted her with an expander first, then 60+ trays of Invisalign over the course of almost 2 years. The result has been nothing less than AMAZING. My now 14-year old daughter has been able to start high school with perfectly straight and aligned teeth! She didn’t have to go through the extra pain and expense of extractions (which every other orthodontist insisted on), and was eased through the process by Dr. Vandenberg’s excellently-trained, professional staff. It was worth every penny and every mile we drove to experience Dr. Vandenberg’s superior orthodontic talent. Unlike other orthodontists we saw, he never gave us a hard sell or pressured us to go with a certain course of treatment to make more money…he was straightforward and honest and followed through with every promise.
