Just had a great teeth cleaning session with Noah of Dr. Snows Encinitas Office. My wife and I have going to Dr. Snow since moving to Encinitas in 2008. We have experienced exceptional care with a cheerful and supporting staff. We ask for Noah as a dental hygienist each time because of his professionalism, attention to detail, explanation of what he is finding and doing and the cheerful positive manner he treats his patients. We always feel we experience the highest level of care at Dr. Snow’s dental practice. Front desk staff and all in the office are always professional and friendly. Protocols for my first dental cleaning during COVID reopening were equally reassuring. They even had a cup for ‘clean’ pens, just wiped with antibacterial wipes to ‘dirty’ pens, the one you just used. My hygienist always takes time to answer questions I have and does a great job keeping my teeth in good health

Great visit on 6/7/18 for some serious dental procedures, including a crown & a very necessary extraction. Painless and perfect work performed by Dr. Snow, assisted by Dana. I haven’t had a crown in many years, and they have an amazing computer-driven system in-house to create the crown quickly and accurately. No need for gunky impressions or temporary crowns, at least in my case! This is a full-service practice covering a wide array of dental services…they even have a comfort menu to allow for choosing items to provide comfort during treatment. I chose the neck pillow, bottled water, and blanket….. but all sorts of choices are available, except for a teddy bear. As it turned out, I wouldn’t have needed that teddy bear anyway. Nice!

Andrea at Pacific Dental Center greeted us with a smile, gave us a tour of the office, and checked our dental insurance. My first visit with Dr. Snow and his assistant Dawn was great. It was my first experience with a computer generated crown. They made me comfortable and made sure I understood the procedure. The crown is perfect. I highly recommend this awesome team!!

It was Fri Dec 13 and I was at the hospital taking care of my husband and had neglected my hurting tooth. I couldn’t neglect it anymore but no Dr offices were open. A co-worker recommended Dr Snow and he was very kind to see my right away (and I wasn’t a patient). He diagnosed the problem and got me meds until I could see my dentist on Monday. Pacific Dental Center is awesome! Went in because my crown came off and Dr. Snow glued it back on. Very honest and funny, I’m entertained every time I go. I originally went to Carlsbad Village Fair Dentistry because it is just down the street from my work. They told me that I needed a new crown and it could not be saved. They wanted to charge me $1100! Very unethical!!! Dr. Snow only charged me $55 to restore my crown that he said was in perfect condition. Thank you PDC!!

The team at Pacific Dental are masters of dentistry. Dr. Snow is extremely talented and knowledgeable. He is lightning fast even with major procedures, which I need because I metabolize anesthetic very quickly. Moreover, he listens empathetically and does his best to mitigate concerns. He puts you at ease. He has a great sense of humor, lowers the overhead lighting, loans headphones, and even provides blankets and use of weighted x-ray vests to soothe one’s anxiety. I’ve been coming to see Dr Snow since 1992. We always banter as he has a great sense of humor. However, when it comes to getting my semi annual teeth cleaning it is always with trepidation. BUT this last Thursday I had the pleasure of having Jen as my dental hygienist. In the past I’ve gripped the arm wrest and just wanted to get through the process. Thursday Jen changed my life. She was so gentle with me and I gave her the highest complement I could give anyone….I told her I could have slept in my seat as she was working on me…no pain, no jerks as she hit sensitive areas. When she asked if she could set an appointment in 6 months I said yes, and could she set up the next 10 years. Thank you Jen for letting me know that I can get my teeth cleaned and it doesn’t have to hurt!

I have been going to Dr. Snow for several years. Brenda does such a great job cleaning my teeth and she is a very nice person. Dr. Snow is a talented Dentist. He has done a great job on my crowns. I did need an implant and thought instead of using Dr. Snow and working with his dental implant person I show to try a Dentist that specializes in implants and saved me a lot of money. I was impressed by this Dentist at first and he did seem to understand implants, but unfortunately he subs out his crown makers. It took three times to get it fitting ok ,but still a shoddy job. Next time I will pay for quality

I’m not afraid of the dentist anymore because of this office! I drive an hour from Menifee to come here. Dr. Snow is awesome, and so is the rest of the staff. Angelica is so sweet and professional, after doing their clinic over Presidents’ Day weekend, I knew practically everyone by name. They accept Tricare dental, which was a huge plus!
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. James Snow has always been drawn to the care and support of others. Since working in his father’s orthodontic practice as a young boy, he has understood the importance of listening to and understanding the individual needs of patients. Dr. James Snow has been practicing general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry in Encinitas since 1994. He finished his graduate studies at USC School of Dentistry in 1992 and received his CEREC CAD/CAM in 1993. He became board certified in sedation dentistry in 2005. He is also a member of various prestigious dental associations: American Dental Association®, California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Association and the Academy of Computerized Dentistry. Furthermore, he has served on the Board of the USC Century Club, is a past board member for the San Diego County Dental Society. He has been a guest lecturer for the UCLA School of Dentistry and the Pacific Coast Study. Dr. Snow has volunteered his time at the USC Mobile Dental Clinic that provides dental care to the under-privileged in Southern California. He has been a local leader for the Boy Scouts of America since 1994. He enjoys working alongside new volunteers through Share the Care and the clinic at St. Leo’s. Dr. Snow is also a volunteer at the Lestonnac Free Dental Clinic and has performed over $200,000 worth of free dental work, mostly for veterans, at Pacific Dental Center’s annual IV sedation weekend.
