I’ve been a patient here about 4 years now. When I first came here, I was very impressed with the facility and how clean it was. There’s a TV in every room, and you can watch Netflix or Hulu as you get your teeth clean. The staffs here are also extremely welcoming and nice. I really enjoy every aspect of my dental experience here. For the most part, the hygienist are the ones that takes your x-ray and clean your teeth, while Dr. Jones checks it afterward or does the major teeth work. I had seen different hygienists in the past (probably like 5) throughout my course here. Out of the five I seen, they were mostly very good and made my experience very pleasant. (There was however, one hygienist, that no longer works here that made me feel like I was getting a deep cleaning without anesthesia when I was getting my regular cleaning. Extremely painful.) My most recent hygienist that I’ve been seeing is Liz. She is very knowledgeable, and gentle. I have poor hygiene because I don’t really like to floss. She gave me some recommendations the last time I saw her for a regular cleaning and suggested that I do a deep cleaning on one side of my mouth. When I went in today for my deep cleaning, she already noticed significant improvement and said that I only really have some trouble tooth in the back. She’s definitely a 5/5!

Five+ Stars! A trip to the dentist office isn’t something you look forward to. Unless that place happens to be Pacific Sky Dental. I have had not so great experiences at other dentists on the peninsula — I felt they cared less about patients and more about how they could up-sell to you their expensive cosmetic services. Imagine my surprise, when I discovered Pacific Sky Dental a year ago. Candy at the front-desk is a star. She displays deep empathy, and helps you navigate the sordid world of insurance, deductibles and how you can save $$. Candy is amazing! Next, in my appointment last week, I met the amazing dental hygienist, Julia Vuong. She is gentle, extremely talented and has a steady hand. She did not shame me for having brown-stained, British teeth – thank you tea and chai! Instead, she got to work on a 3-step process to clean, polish and shine my I-have-to-hide-my-smile teeth to 4 shades brighter. And this wasn’t an extra charge or a premium service — a part of their 6-monthly cleanup. Julia makes you feel at ease, and helped take an x-ray, for a tooth injury that I had a couple months ago. Julia is an asset to PSD. Amazing! Last but not the least, is Dr. Alagh. She is the dentist-extraordinaire at PSD. She has deep experience and has seen the worst cases. Last year, she helped fill 8 cavities and saved me from an eventual root canal. She reviews the x-rays, looks for signs of trauma or infection from my tooth injury (I bit a fork, hard), and rules out any need of corrective action. True to her word, within a week the swelling subsided and her advice proved stellar. Amazing! We are blessed to have Candy, Julia and Dr. Alagh on our dental care team. Esp. since I do not have dental insurance, I find that PSD tries to minimize out of pocket spend and recommends just the right course of treatment. I signed up for their annual saver plan ($249 for first person, and $149 for additional family members) that is a great alternative to insurance. If you want an honest dental team that truly cares about your well-being and your wallet, please consider Pacific Sky Dental. I believe we need to support great businesses and encourage them to continue investing in excellence and their team. P.S: PSD has TV’s in front and on the ceiling in 4+ examination rooms. By the time you finish 2 episodes of Hulu, you will leave with a smile.

I have been seeing Dr. Jone since I moved to the Bay Area about a year ago and have been very impressed with the friendliness of the entire staff as well as Dr. Jone’s expertise in the best possible treatment for teeth. I did 6 months smiles braces and am very happy with the results and the time Dr. Jone took to explain each step of the process. There is also free parking in the garage (a huge plus) as well as TV screens on both the wall and ceiling in every room, allowing you to watch your tv show as you get dental work. They are extremely flexible with scheduling and have seen me for last minute emergencies as well as days that the office is regularly closed. Would highly recommend this place.

Came in for teeth cleaning and was greeted by the friendly receptionist. Michael who took my xray was also very nice. I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the office and the new equipment. The xray was a cinch as u just lay there while they use a handheld xray gun to take digital xrays. There was also this cool machine that spin around m head once to get a 360 view of my teeth (which I hope means a more thorough exam). Dr Jones then came to clean my teeth. He is very friendly and courteous and he did a good job. Also the gift pack has some good stuff with tooth paste, toothbrush, and a toothpaste sqeezer. Definitely recommend!

You can park in the garage! Free! I moved to outer mission and hated going downtown to my dentist bc of the parking and traffic nightmare SF has become, so I started searching for someone closer. Came across Pacific Sky and couldnt be happier. They explained everything to me in laymans terms and it was an super easy cleaning and initial appt. My old dentist used to talk her head off and I would just nod. Here you can watch a crap ton of shows while they work on your teeth, theres even a tv on the ceiling. No talking necessary. I also liked all the high tech gadgets they had, got a sweet printout of my teeth and everything that needs to get done at some point. Did I mention you can park in the garage? Free!

I love Corrine, my hygienist, she is so attentive and gentle, gave me great advise on how to improve my daily dental care. Dr. Jone is a great dentist, his knowledge, skills, and bedside manner is superb. He has done fillings, crowns, extractions, bone graft, and implement for me so far and I have smooth recovery in all procedures. He is also very good in working out payment options with me. The receptionists are friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and willing to take time to find the answers for me. I love Pacific Sky Dental !!!

I’m sure I’m not the only person who dislike or have a fear of going to the dentist. Well, Pacific Sky Dental really is an awesome place to make you feel at ease. Dr. Jone and his amazing staff are friendly, likeable and down to earth. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the names of a few of the other nice staff members but Hi Patty, Hi Candy! they oversee the front office and are very friendly. They always welcome me with a warm smile. Hi Corrine! Corrine, I just love. She is, I believe the dental hygienist. She is very thorough and takes her time when cleaning my teeth. Sometime, I just wish she stop already. At every visit, and believe me you, I’ve been there regularly as of late, Corrine is always educating me on what to do to protect my teeth and gums. We make each other laugh. Very nice lady. Dr. Jone talks to you in detail about the pros and cons of his recommendations. He actually breaks it all down whether it’s showing you images of your current/proposed dental work or the pricing of the work to be did. He really wants you to understand it all. At my last visit, I said something, he responded that made me laugh.

It’s been awhile since I had my teeth cleaned and examined as my teeth are very sensitive and have a low tolerance for pain. I did  some research online and found Pacific Sky dental. Their website looked professional, the office seemed nice on yelp so I decided to give them a try. The visit was very pleasant!  The office smell nice and clean, the equipment was not intimidating and the bose headset really help cover up the ambient noise, his technique was efficient and comfortable. I liked that there wasn’t an upsell on treatment or anything. Dr. Jone explained things of concern and left all the decision making in my hands. It’s an added bonus that the office had a Roku with a netflix and hulu account. Got a chance to catch up on some shows on demand. There was also free parking in the garage.

I actually just got home from seeing Dr Jone today, and I feel as though this review needs to be written. I had to make a rather sudden appointment with Dr Jone regarding a tooth injury. I had broken one of my molars. *Side note: I haven’t been to a dentist in two years because I am afraid of the visits. In the past, any time I’ve gone to a dentist there is always something new wrong and I’ve had work done before, and that’s gone wrong too. I pretty much fear the pain.* With all that said, Dr Jone was able to keep me comfortable. Michael, his assistant, gave me the tv to watch and so I was relaxed watching my favorite show. When Dr Jone came in, he first talked me through all of my options and the possibilities as well as cost. He was very thorough in his explanation and everything he said was easy to understand. We even went over my xrays together and he was able to pull up images from the internet for me to examine as he explained the possible work I’d need done. I did need to get the numbing needle, which I was terrified of, but turns out it wasn’t as bad as I had thought. I actually got it twice. With that, my mouth was perfectly numb and he got to work on fixing my tooth. Michael was with us the whole time too, helping. With both of them working on my tooth, it took no more than an hour to fix. The experience overall was very pleasant. I am actually looking forward to finally getting the work I need done on my other teeth with Dr Jone over the next few weeks. I don’t know what it is, but I just trust Dr Jone. I’ve never really trusted other dentists in the past. Even my kids trust him more than they ever trusted their previous dentist. I absolutely recommend him for everyone, kids and adults. Dr Jone is a great guy, Michael is extremely friendly, and Patty is awesome too. Oh, and just as a reminder there is free parking available in the garage neighboring their office.

My experience at this office was nothing short of outstanding, from the fun themed offices to the helpful staff, Michelle & Dr’s are extremely personable. My daughter was never as easy to handle at a doctors office as she is here, she felt welcomed as much as I did. She loved Michelle & the all the Dr’s and now every time she’s tired she asks for them, they honestly treat us like family! They helped me with some issues with my insurance and my daughters school professionally and pleasantly. Michelle always answers my texts and calls even when it’s on weekends and does everything she can do to help out and as a parent these days it makes a world of a difference when your dental office is that helpful and goes the extra mile for the care of your children. Dr. Jone and his staff are amazing. I recently had an extraction on my wisdom tooth done, it was an emergency as the pain became unbearable, not to mention that I had an infection brewing in my gum above the tooth. Dr. Jone is ALL ABOUT COMFORT & COMMUNICATION. If you aren’t comfortable just communicate to him and he will adjust to your liking. My extraction was a long and arduous one, I attribute it to all the milk I drink. But not once during the 3 hour extraction did I feel uncomfortable or scared. I had a secondary visit and cleaning after that extraction. During the cleaning I was comfortable and relaxed during the whole procedure. They aren’t pressing with all their might to polish your teeth. Such a great experience and I wish Dr. Jone and his super awesome staff all the best!

Trying out a new dentist closer to my house, found this new dental office about 10 minutes from my home in Noe Valley. I found it easily, despite my not knowing the area. They have free garage parking, which was very convenient. The greeting by reception was friendly and efficient – filled out two forms and provided my ID. (We dealt with insurance and payment details after my exam.) The waiting room is very homey and clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find good magazines to peruse like Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure, also a Keurig machine for self-serve coffee/tea. I was taken back into an exam room by the dental assistant, who told me I could watch what I wanted on the flat screens (Hulu Plus – on the wall and also on the ceiling!). He took a full set of X-rays while I was in the exam chair. This was so easy since they are using a handheld X-ray device (no monster looming around your head). He had me move into the hall for a full face X-ray to get my entire mouth in one X-ray. I had never seen these devices before, so they must be using the most current technology available. The cleaning was done by Dr. Jone himself, using an ultrasonic type of instrument that made the procedure go quickly. We discussed my dental needs, but also chatted about our President’s Day weekend. Then the assistant came and did the polish and even a fluoride wash. They warm the rinse water, which was a nice touch. Both Dr Jone and the dental assistant were gentle, professional and very considerate of my comfort. I am pleased to find such a friendly, comfortable and professional dental office so close to home.

Been coming here for the past year and i finally bit the bullet and got the implant that i’ve been meaning to get done. Little story about that. I traveled around a lot for sports during high school and suffice it to say that i broke a tooth in a scuffle. The doctors said that they couldn’t do an implant because there wasn’t enough bone. I’ve been wearing a “flipper” for over 7 years. Fast forward now, Dr. Jone walked me through the process, showed me his cases, and assured me that he could do it. I just got the tooth in a month ago and couldn’t be happier to throw that flipper away.

Dr. Jone uses up-to-date methods that cleaned my teeth while never hurting me at all! My old dentist’s hygienist would pick at my gums and torture me for hours, leaving my gums mangled and bleeding for a week afterward… I can honestly tell you that I never felt any significant pain while in the chair. Even when he had to give me shots in the gums to numb my face for drilling, he used a vibration device that lessened the pain there too. He informed me of weak spots in my mouth, which areas I should floss or brush more vigorously, and why. He showed me pictures of the decay present in my mouth, and explained how to avoid it in the future. He actually cares about teaching you to care for yourself, rather than just telling you “you need to brush more’ or “you need to floss more.” His staff are all very friendly and efficient, there was no wait time during my visit at all. There’s a parking garage close by and plenty of parking on the street. Lastly, he has TV’s both in front of the chair and mounted on the ceiling, so you can watch TV even while you’re reclined! He had basic cable, Netflix, Hulu Plus, and even TwitchTV set up so you can watch gaming streams if you’re into that. Amazing setup. Bottom line is, I will never go anywhere else again. I would recommend Pacific Sky Dental to anyone.

I went to Pacific Sky Dental on a recommendation from a trusted colleague who was thrilled with the care he received from Dr.Jone and his staff.I knew my last dentist for twenty years and he and is whole staff are wonderful.Since moving back to the Bay Area over a year ago I feared finding a dentist that could match even half of my high expectations. I searched for a new dentist by asking all my friends, family and even acquaintances here in the bay area if they liked their dentist. Many said yes and then would hesitate with at least one or two things wrong with their experience.
Without hesitation I say – please if you need any dental work done go to Dr.Jone. My fears were calmed;I can only rave about my total experience at Pacific Sky Dental. There is a feeling of “Harmony” , good health,cleanliness,genuine caring, and a wealth of helpful knowledge. Dr. Jone has the same amazing light gentle touch as my last dentist that you can not teach and is such an important quality to find in a dentist. The modern non invasive equipment helps too! If you ask Dr.Jone a question he will give you an answer you can follow with a complete explanation and even visual aides if you need it! Simply many times over “The Best” I am now grateful once again for a Great Dentist!

Love the office for how kid-friendly the environment and staff are. They have state of the art equipment and 2 TVs, one in front and one above the chair, with Netflix, Hulu, etc. in every room! They’re also on top of their patient communication too. I’ve only met with Dr. Raymond Jone and Corinne, and they’re both awesome in the sense that they’re friendly, knowledgeable, etc. He was also very gentle with my 1-year old when she went in for her first visit. Best dentist office I’ve ever been to and highly recommend!

Have been with Pacific Sky Dental for about 5 to 6 years or so. Theyre always friendly and to the point with dental maintanence, no hidden fees or confusing explanations. They make sure you are aware of prices before making decisions. Dr. Jone is always so positive and knows each patient and their history. Elizabeth Grillo, is who I personally request to do my cleanings, ALWAYS. She is gentle, tells you the honest truth, mazing and knows everything about dental hygiene and more.

Figures my luck. Out of town and I ended up cracking a tooth while trying to eat some ribs. The things that come with age… Called around to find someone quick and called Dr. Jone’s emergency line and surprisingly was willing to see me on a Sunday. I was hesitant to get any permanent work done because I’m from out of town. But surprisingly his office had a dental warranty policy that would cover the value of the work anywhere I went. So I got the root canal and filling done. Caught up on some tv shows and went along my way. Smooth sailing so far.
