I’ve been going to Dr. Pahlavani for a year now and have only ever had an amazing experience. All of the women in the office are lovely and welcoming, and Dr. Pahlavani does an excellent job. I actually look forward to going to the dentist! During my recent visit, I was informed that the regular dental assistant was out sick, and in her place was a replacement who was just hired for the day. Without going into all of the details, I had a pretty miserable experience with him (even though Dr. Pahlavani herself had done a great job) and left feeling as though my teeth hadn’t been cleaned. The replacement dental assistant was lethargic and very quickly polished my teeth, by no means doing a thorough job. As I left the appointment, feeling disappointed, I asked if I could fill out a feedback form. I did so, and nearly the second I got home I received a call from Dr. Pahlavani herself saying that she was aware that the replacement dental assistant was not performing well, to the point that she was concerned. She informed me that she asked him to leave shortly after I left the office. She also offered to schedule a time the following day that worked for me and she would personally clean my teeth again. She was incredibly understanding and flexible, and when I went in the following day, she did a wonderful job. My teeth felt great and I left feeling much better! Overall, I could not ask for a friendlier dentist, or someone with more expertise. I have recommended Dr. Pahlavani to multiple friends, and always have a pleasant time at her office.

I had the pleasure of visiting this incredible dental practice yesterday for a teeth cleaning. The staff there was so kind and hospitable, everyone from the front desk receptionist to the dental assistance’s and of course, Dr. Pahlavani, herself. The environment is community- based and is aesthetically pleasing, this matters, when receiving a daunting service like you know…taking care of your personal hygiene (lol). Overall, I’d give this place 5 stars and I hope the business continues to grow, needless to say, I’m very happy with Pahlavani Dental!

Came here as a referral from lots of researching on Zocdoc. Dr. Pahlavani had a lot of great reviews and she did NOT disappoint. I hadn’t seen a dentist in way too long and to say that this was one of my best dental experiences would be an understatement. Dr. Pahlavani was extremely thorough, attentive and kind. For my first visit, I came for a cleaning and she ended up being able to fit in me for extra work. That is not something you get often from a healthcare provider, often time being asked to come back. But Dr. Pahlavani made the time for me. When I returned for more work with a bit of an issue after the first session, she was able to address and fix it appropriately. She has EXCEPTIONAL bedside manners, super kind and easy to talk to and her work on my teeth was phenomenal. I am so excited I have found a dentist nearby that I trust and enjoy. Her staff is just as friendly and wonderful as she is. You can definitely tell they enjoy their daily work! Can’t wait to return…in 6 months (this time)

Another great visit to Pahlavani Dental today. I’m not sure how they do it, but they actually make seeing the dentist enjoyable. The staff is welcoming and warm. Dr. P, as everyone lovingly calls her, is knowledgeable, gentle and most important honest. I had been going to another dentist, that shall remain nameless, and he always seemed to be coming up with these very long and expensive treatment plans for me. I initially came to Pahlavani Dental for a second opinion and was shocked by the amount of money I have been able to save by switching to this practice. I no longer worry that I’m being ripped off and can rest assured that I’m getting the treatments that I actually need. I’ve been coming here for over two years now and Dr. Pahlavani is by far my favorite dental practice! The staff is always so nice and welcoming, Dr.’s Pahlavani and Lee are both clearly skilled and efficient, and willing to talk through procedures with me when I want to know more. I really wanted to share a review rn bc of their practices during the COVID era. I had the misfortune of needing a root canal during quarantine, and was beyond impressed by the precautions taken from the moment you enter the property to ensure that your experience is as worry-free and clean as possible. From personal hear on all staff, to a temperature check and pre-check in survey, it’s clear that they’ve taken the virus seriously and are doing all they can to protect staff and patients! I highly recommend Dr. Pahlavani. She is fun, professional and provides a comfortable environment. As I’ve hit my late 20s, I have had a few more cavities than I’d like. Dr. Pahlavani helped me understand what was going on and created a treatment plan that works around my schedule. She’s a magician with the needle which I never felt because she does a little at a time.I had questions about my health insurance and staff took time to look into it before I left so we could discuss at my appointment. I recommend being open with Dr. Pahlavani about any concerns/questions you have about your dental health, fears, or her practice because she definitely will put you at ease and take the time to provide you the best customer service around. I recently moved to Virginia and no longer live down the street from the practice, but I’m still a patient because I’ve had such a good experience.

Highly recommended! Office staff and dentist are very welcoming and friendly. This is hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. The cleaning was very thorough, and the dentist has an amazing attention to detail. She straightened the ridges on my teeth from grinding, for free. It is very apparent that she loves what she does and customer service is a skill this office does not take lightly. I’ve been here 3 times and have never had an appointment start late. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a good dentist. I looked on another site to find a good Dentist in my area and Dr. Pahlavi was the first name to pop up. I had a lovely experience with Dr. Pahlavani and her staff. I have always had a fear of dental work, but she explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable. Veronica was helpful with working with my insurance company, and Tajuana was a great assistant. She helped explain my X-rays and treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand. I wasn’t overwhelmed or nervous. While I did have to wait a little longer than anticipated due to another patient’s emergency, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The facility was modern–they showed me my x-rays on an overhead monitor in real time while being taken. Very cool! I can’t say that I ever look forward to going to the dentist. I don’t have a fear of the dentist, but it’s just uncomfortable. Once again though, Dr. Pahlavani managed to make an uncomfortable situation comfortable and even enjoyable somehow. She has such a gentle touch and a great sense of humor as well. Dr. Pahlavani and her staff are simply amazing. Long story short (I’m not one for writing multi-paragraph reviews on Yelp… Or any review at all) I somehow in the everyday hustle and bustle, rushed from work to Dr. Pahlavani’s office, only to find out my appointment wasn’t until the following week (yea, stupid me). So Dr. Pahlavani and her staff, schedule now disrupted, found a way to fit me in for my cleaning. Kind and sympathetic staff.

Dr. Neda Pahlavani is a responsible and skilled dentist in Washington, DC. Dr. Pahlavani received her dental degree and also holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and minor in biology from the University of Southern California. Dr. Pahlavani has a private practice, where she sees patients for dental consultations, dental cleanings, fillings, mouthguard, root canal, as well as other common and specialized reasons. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. She is trilingual in English, Farsi, and Arabic.
