Great Dentist! I LOVE this dentist. I have been coming here for years and now I bring my kids. It is such a happy place with a knowledgeable staff. Dr. Taudel is so patient and kind, that even my kids look forward to going to their checkups. The hygienist and doctor work together with ease, and the receptionist is more than helpful in helping my trips to the dentist cost effective. It makes me sad and horrified that people are writing such negative reviews about such a wonderful place – it could not be more an incorrect assessment. Please look to zocdoc regarding this office since the reviews there seem to be more reflective of the reality of this office. I recommend anyone looking for a new dental home, to experience this office first hand.

Dr. Taudel is the friendliest dentist I have ever encountered. She really knows her stuff. She is gentle and painless and I am definitely not a good patient. I was surprised when I got an appointment within the week and when I came in she thoroughly explained my treatment plan. Her prices are great (considering it is a park avenue office). Mary Taudel is the best dentist I have ever had, and I would recommend her to anyone. It’s the only doctor’s office where I’ve never had to wait for my appointment. Which is a shame because the waiting room includes a massage chair and the best magazine selection! (Side points I know but I was impressed!) She sometimes even does the cleanings alongside the dental assistant, and took time to make sure I had all the information I needed. Highly recommend!

Came in for my first cleaning since the pandemic hit NYC and Danielle did a wonderful/painless job. I’ve been going to Dr. Taudel for years because she and her staff (Noemi and Danielle) are wonderful. I work in healthcare so I know how rare it is to find a provider that takes their time, talks to their patients and truly cares about the outcome. One never feels rushed when your in the office and you know you’ll be taken care of. Can’t say enough nice things about this practice!

I don’t think I’ve ever said this before but I LOVE GOING TO THE DENTIST!!! Dr. Taudel is awesome: very smart and capable, kind, AND gentle – what more could you want in a dentist?!? On top of that – the office experience is truly a delight! Eileen, the office manager/receptionist is amazing to work with: super helpful with booking appts, very responsive if I ever have an issue figuring out my FSA reimbursement or need records, working with my insurance to get my services covered. The hygienists – Noemi and Danielle – are both wonderful: my cleanings are always painless and thorough. BEST DENTIST EVER – Highly Recommend I haven’t been to the dentist in over 5 years due to dental phobia, I went to Dr. Taudel due to pain in my jaw keeping me up at night. I love Dr. Taudel and her team. For a lot of my adult life I was terrified of the dentist, which meant that when I finally went, my teeth were much the worse for wear. Dr. Taudel is extremely professional, and explained how the original cap was not how she would have done it and why it failed without throwing the dentist who put in the original under the bus. When I saw Dr. Taudel, she took care of my problem immediately, professionally, and kindly, giving me a temporary fix and submitting to my insurance company for pre-authorization so that my treatment would be covered. Her office staff is great. Here is why she is so outstanding: Before I saw her, I went to an emergency dentist who said he accepted my insurance. However, he refused to give the treatment covered by my insurance (but offered another treatment that would have cost a month’s take-home pay). Why can’t every dentist be like Dr. Taudel?

I have been seeing Dr. Taudel for 2 years now and have had several services including cleanings/exam, root canal, crowns and fillings. I have been happy with my experiences so far and plan to continue to use her as my dentist. I like that it is a small office where you quickly come to know the staff, who are friendly and patient. They always take you right in with very minimal or no wait time. I appreciate that they have squeezed me in during a last minute emergency. and I love being able to schedule appt’s on ZocDoc which is how I found Dr. Taudel.
