I was referred to Dr Kuperstein from my dentist. I had a lot of reservations of getting orthodontics in the first place as an adult. Dr Kuperstein and her assistant were very friendly and accommodating. They thoroughly explained the process and timeline and walked through different options during my consultation. I did not move forward at this office as I found that it was not in network for my insurance which is the only reason why I didn’t select Parkside. The front staff is friendly and attentive and bonus they have a parking lot behind their building!

Having endured many years of being self-conscious of my crooked teeth, I had finally summed up the courage to get braces as an adult. Braces are an expensive investment, and I really wanted to have them done right. After much countless research and a couple of consultations at different orthodontic clinics, I finally decided to get my braces done at Parkside Orthodontics. I chose to get my braces at Parkside because of how knowledgeable and friendly Dr. Kuperstein and her staff was when I went in to get my consultation. They were able to clearly explain to me my situation and the treatment options that I had choose from. As of now, I think I had made to right decision to go with Parkside. It has been a little bit over a year since I have gotten my clear braces. The change in my teeth alignment and straightening has been exciting and wonderful. Dr. Kuperstein and her staff has not only been friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous, but they have also provided me with great advice and communication to ensure that all of my orthodontics needs are met. The service that they have provided up until now has exceeded all of my expectation and has met every dimension for quality. They are truly reliable, responsive, assuring, empathetic, and tangible for their patients. Overall, I highly recommend Parkside Orthodontics to all those in need of a great orthodontist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kuperstein’s for 1.5 years now. As an adult, going back to fix teeth I thought were fixed as a kid was hard but the office made me feel comfortable. Dr. Kuperstein quickly saw the issues I was having and proposed a few options for treating. I chose the one that worked best for me. They scanned my teeth and within a few weeks, I was in process. Appointments are easily made and I never wait for more than a few minutes after arrival to be seen. Every communication has been straight forward. The staff is wonderful and friendly. I was dreading every moment of the experience and am surprised at how easily and quickly it has gone. I am nearing the end of my treatment and I am very happy with the results.

I concur in terms of the overall professionalism that the entire office exhibits from front desk to hygienists & techy people to Dr. K. It’s a pleasure to have a female doctor that is child & family focused within biking distance to our home. We interviewed two other orthodontists while looking for the correct fit for my daughter. We’ve been visiting for about 9 months now. I also enjoy the holiday sweater pictures! The only thing missing in my opinion is a mascot of some type whether it’s a fish, gerbil, or monkey (please!), but from one mom to another, let’s let her tag out.

Great orthodontist — Rebecca Kuperstein has monitored my kids’ teeth for two years and now they are finally ready for braces. My son’s braces were on in an hour. I’ve found the staff at Parkside to be incredibly efficient and knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them.

She is also board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor earned by only a minority of orthodontists in the country. Dr. Rebecca Kuperstein split divided her childhood with the East Coast and Midwest, and attended Ohio University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with high honors (Summa Cum Laude). She earned her Masters in Public Health and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University, and operated a private dentistry practice in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Kuperstein and her husband moved to Portland for her orthodontic residency at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU), where she earned a specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science in Orthodontics. Dr. Kuperstein has been a guest lecturer at her alma mater, OHSU Department of Orthodontics, as well as at Careington College Dental Hygiene Program. Dr. Kuperstein and her husband Daniel met in high school and were married while Dr. Kuperstein was in dental school. After moving to Oregon, they fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and decided to make Portland their adopted hometown. They make their home in East Portland with their children Sasha and Ezra and their dog Tilly.
