I have tried many dentists based on my in-net work dentists in Pasadena.  That did not work, as most of the dentists disappointed me. About 10 years ago, I decided my teeth mattered more than money and went out of my dental insurance net-work and found Dr. Meeker.  I researched, he is a graduate from Georgetown University, that was important to me as I have 8 doctors in my immediate family and know education, experience, mannerism and patient care is at the top of my list.  Dr. Meeker checked all those boxes.  He is just fabulous, ever since I have been with the same dentist and hygienist (Margret Ann). I don’t worry about my teeth anymore M-Ann is the BEST and she keeps the teeth clean and coaches you on what the daily routine should be and the rest I leave it to the Doc. Art is really great too, if you have questions he’ll also help you out. This is the only dentist I’ll standby and refer my family and friends to visit.  Thanks D. Meeker and Team!

I was seen on a first time emergency basis. I’ve never had root canal and crown replacement treatment completed without pain until Dr. Meeker’s expert skill showed how it is done. Furthermore he shows in clear X-ray images how thorough a skilled dentist completely evacuates and expertly fills in a root canal. I’ve had three prior dentists perform this treatment on my teeth before and none of the above could be said about those experiences. Oh, and the staff was amazing too. Cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

After a lot of bad experiences at dentists, some trying to eek out as much money as they could, some just bad at their job, I’m happy to find Dr. Meeker and his staff. Everyone has been friendly and helpful, from beginning to end. As far as Dr. Meeker, he’s a really nice guy and does a great job. He goes the extra step to make sure you’re happy, I’m thrilled with the way my teeth look after going for fillings. He also seems very honest about the amount of work you need to get done, I love being able to trust my dentist isn’t inventing things to fix. I highly recommend him, for what it’s worth.

I’ve been going to Dr. Meeker for over 20 years and I’ve always been very happy with the office staff, the dental staff, and of course, Dr. Meeker. He always does a great job. He is truly a skilled dentist who wants to help his patients, not just make money. He gives great advice on different options and does meticulous, artistic work. My wife had a lot of work done recently, including veneers, and we absolutely love her new smile. The cost more or less what you’ll find with other dentists. Parking is convenient and the whole dental team is wonderful.

Dr. Meeker and his staff are highly professional. His office is equipped with the latest technology. I was very impressed with the consultation, procedure, and follow-up care. Dr. Meeker is friendly, has a high degree of expertise, and he carefully explains options for consideration. I am very pleased with the care, follow up, and dental care plan I received. Dr. Meeker is highly recommended and has become our trusted family dentist.

I recently had some extensive dental work done, including a tooth extraction, an implant and finally veneers by Dr. Meeker. I have been a patient of his for over ten years, but nothing this extensive until now. A bit worried, I proceeded and was delighted with the results. A totally painless process, whew! Dr. Meeker was very thorough and meticulous in his work, making sure that everything fit properly and was comfortable. He and his staff were very exacting to make sure we got the veneer color just right. He even went the extra mile to personally shape the veneers to make sure they looked natural and matched my mouth. And they do no one has been able to tell the difference, minus no more chipped teeth! It was a very comforting experience and I would recommend him to anyone. The ambiance of his office – TV with headphones, really nice and friendly office staff – add to the experience. It is reassuring to know that one can get such top notch care in such comfortable surroundings. I am definitely a very happy patient.

Dr. Meeker and his staff are truly outstanding! I have been to a variety of dentists, oral surgeons and endodontists in my sixty – five years in Southern California, but never have I found a dentist who is more skilled, detailed, informed, personable, patient and caring. Furthermore, he surrounds himself with a staff who is equally as professional and service – oriented as he is. Dr. Meeker installed 4 beautiful veneers on my front teeth, extracted a very badly fractured tooth, and crowned and filled about six more teeth. My smile has never looked better in my life, and I am confident my teeth will continue to serve me well. No one likes to visit the dentist, especially not me, but with Dr. Meeker, I guarantee you will have a most positive and pleasant experience that will change your perception of dental care.

I actually LIKE going to an appointment with Dr. Meeker. He’s been my dentist for 25 years, and I trust him to do what’s best for me. The office is equipped with the latest technology, so I’m always comfortable. His staff is highly qualified and cordial, and I like having my teeth cleaned there as well. I am 84 and still have all my teeth, so it’s been a good experience with Dr. Meeker.

Dr. Meeker and his team of hygienists and support staff are extremely professional, capable, thorough and passionate about their work. I have more straightforward dental needs with deep cavities that he’s saved me from needing any caps or crowns and they have lasted now so far 4 years without any trouble. Meanwhile my husband has needed really extensive work and it’s always top notch. Thank you for your excellent work Dr. Meeker!

Dr. Meeker is as good as it gets! I was introduced to Dr. Meeker by my childhood orthodontist almost 25 years ago. I am now 39 and I live outside of California. When possible, I have scheduled my dental appointments to occur during my visits back to California so I can make sure my mouth stays in good health; and, if I need any work done, it will get done well and without pain. I have had many fillings due to love for sugar and teeth grinding have NEVER experienced pain while under Dr. Meeker’s care or under the care of his hygenists. I have fillings ranging from 5-20 years old and I can only think of one that has needed replacing due to wear and tear. Dr. Meeker installed a gold crown about a year ago. It was also painless and the crown feels like my original tooth. The point is that Dr. Meeker is EXCELLENT at what he does and he gives his patients quality 1:1 care as necessary, and not prematurely. He knows what treatments are best for you and you will not find better care in the Southern California area. Visiting Dr. Meeker is like seeing an old friend and every time I see him, I remind him he can never retire 🙂

Dr. Meeker and his staff are wonderful! My experience was great from the beginning to the end! Melissa is the first person I encountered and was extremely personable and helpful. She makes you feel very welcome. Dr. Meeker is great! Very polite and honest in his diagnoses. Ana was friendly when taking my xrays. Margo, hygienist, was God sent. She did an amazing job with my cleaning and was the best I’ve ever had. She stayed late to finish up which I really appreciated very much. This office is really a great team of professionals and they do great work. I highly recommend Dr. Meeker and his staff!

I originally posted a very negative review based not on Dr Meeker’s dentistry skills, but on the spamming behavior of the service he employed for electronic communication with his patients. We’ve since talked about this and the hope is that this spamming behavior will be dialed back! Apart from his choice in electronic communication providers, I have NOTHING BUT PRAISE for Dr Meeker. He gave me two very painless root canals, and all my other semi-annual cleaning interactions with him and his staff have been rapid, painless, and professional. I’ve been with him for maybe ten years now or more, and no reason to change.

Dr. Meeker has been my dentist for over twenty years. He maintains the same nucleus of care staff and hygienists, who will cater to your every peccadillo as a patient. Dr. Meeker himself is the calm, steady-as-you-go sea captain of dental fair weather as well as rough seas. However, most important of all to note is that Dr. Meeker is basically painless, flexible in his humor for your personality type, and first and always concerned with your comfort. No need to be jittery or skittish for those who may so incline. He has installed a few crowns and partial in-lays (gold, thank you very much!) on me and it’s- Dare I say!?!? -almost fun. I assure any prospective patient that all will be well for you.

Dr. Meeker provides outstanding care. I have gone to Dr. Meeker for over 20 years. I trust his clinical judgment. He is very professional and really cares about the patient. Margaret Ann, dental hygienist, is great! Very careful, effective, and painless dental cleaning. I recently had x-rays with Art, very modern technology. I am always impressed with Dr. Meeker and his Staff. I look forward to visits.

In September last year, I was on a trip to Berlin and I tripped and knocked out one front tooth and severely chipped the other one. Dentist in Berlin patched me up and said to go to my regular dentist as soon as I got home to see if tooth that got knocked out had died. My regualr dentist was recommending a much more invasive approach of doing ab implant on the dead tooth and a root canal on the the other because it would “probably die” after being knocked so hard. I got freaked out and went to Dr. Meeker for a second opinion. He recommended the root canal on the dead tooth, but a wait and see approach on the other tooth, which totally paid off. The excellent root canal he did on the dead tooth has held and the other tooth is just fine. Cosmetically, my teeth look better than before the accident – my front teeth were always crooked. He did a bonding procedure on one and put a veneer on the dead tooth to make everything look great and much straighter. Unfortunately, Dr. Meeker only contracts with PPO insurance, but I think that is pretty par for the course these days with the shitty insurance options. He works well with you if you’re paying cash and you always know upfront what costs are going to be. I have been both a cash patient and an insurance patient with him.

If there were more ‘stars’ available to give a higher rating to Dr. Meeker and his staff, I would do it! I am so very grateful to have found an extremely knowledgable, technically competent, caring, top notch dentist, with state of the art equipment as well! Having recently moved from Florida, (with a GREAT dentist there), I needed a cleaning, a new crown and an implant. It has not been 24 hours since i now have the 1st of three procedures for my tooth implant. It took approximately an hour and a half from start to finish to imbed the screw in my gum yesterday. The details are important: easy scheduling for my convenience, with text and email reminders; kind, considerate treatment by all staff throughout my visit; consideration for my comfort and safety throughout the entire procedure; direct communication, explanations, questions answered, sharing X-rays, photos etc, keeping me informed about what was going to happen next; and most importantly, an extremely clean office area, with attention to detail with my health in mind. I was even given an antibiotic and penicillin BEFORE the procedure and antibiotics to take with me so i didn’t have to stop at a pharmacy on the way home ! ; followup, I could call at any time last night if I needed anything, I received a call this morning from Dr Meeker (personally) asking about my night so i could describe how I felt, with my questions answered as well.

I cannot recommend this dentist enough. I am terrified of going to the dentist and he made it so easy for me. He genuinely wants whats best for your teeth, not to make money. He is extremely detail oriented and would rather do it right that do it quick. Very kind and compassionate. Actually the whole staff is amazing. This place is the best. love them.

Dr. Meeker is an excellent dentist. He is thorough in his examinations, keeps the patient informed before, during, and after a procedure, and is professional in every way. My only reservation is with the office staff: there have been disagreements regarding the billing system, and in my experience there is too much time spent in the waiting room. As for the dental treatments, Dr. Meeker is superb.

Dr. Meeker may be the best dentist in Los Angeles. What makes him so good? His work is excellent, and he’s committed to doing high quality work for every visit, no matter how big or small the job. He uses state of the art tools, and techniques. He’s dedicated to making sure his patients are comfortable. His staff is super friendly and supportive. Even the location is good; it’s conveniently located, and much more welcoming than your average office complex. I know other people who see Dr. Meeker, and I know they feel the same way. He really is exceptional.

I went to see Dr. Meeker expecting good service based on the previous reviews I read on yelp. I received excellent service from Dr. Meeker and also his wonderful staff. I had not gone to the dentist for very long time because I don’t have insurance. I was forced to go because I broke a tooth. I was very nervous they explained everything to me gave me the estimate of how much it would cost. They were so kind that there must had been a cancelation and they fit me into their schedule the same day to get my tooth fixed. Dr. Meeker If you and/or your staff read this I want to THANK YOU so much for your professionalism , you are a craftsman very much a perfectionist, an artist in your field. The kindness, and respect you showed me as your client was outstanding . When they finished on my tooth and I seen it I never expected to have it look that good. It looked beautiful I was very much amazed. I will Continue going to Dr. Meeker and highly recommend anyone looking for an excellent Dentist to go to him.

I moved in to Pasadena recently and was looking for a new dentist. I found Dr. Meeker’s office through Yelp and was impressed by the great review. I needed to have a wisdom teeth removed and was a little afraid of the procedure. However, the very professional and friendly team made me feel comfortable and ask as many questions as I wanted. The doctor answered all my concern and went through the procedure with me. In addition, I didn’t have dental insurance,so Dr. Meeker’s office worked a payment plan to help me. Great staff…

I have had great work done by Dr. Meeker in the past, where he replaced several very old fillings with new white composite that made my teeth look so much better. He has also done several crowns for me over the years–he is a perfectionist and got the shape and color down beautifully, fixing some not-great work done by other dentists. Recently, I was having several issues with my front teeth and needed some good advice. An area near the gum line was eroding and discoloring, and my other front tooth had turned out of position as I got older. After discussing all the options, he recommended composite veneers, and was able to fix my problems in about three hours, no pain at all and very little discomfort. He has all the latest equipment and it is amazing what he can do! I am absolutely thrilled with my new composite veneers. He sculpted them right there with his amazing artistry. They look exactly like my own teeth used to look, the color and translucence is amazing. I really can’t tell which is the veneer and which is the tooth. They have given my face a new youth.

I visited Dr. Meeker earlier today to have a second opinion. The previous dentist told me I had two cavities, and was charging a large amount for fillings. I’m 37 years old and have never had cavities before in my life. Though I knew that I might have a couple, by this point. I wanted to find out how much he would charge to fill them. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me he didn’t see a single cavity! I asked him about a specific area on one of my molars. He said it was just a pin-sized hole in the sealant, and not the tooth itself. He offered to replace the sealant for free!… Which he did, right then and there. He also only charged me minimally for the entire appointment. If you’re looking for a dentist who is not in it only for the money, I recommend Dr. Meeker. His staff is also extremely friendly and sincere. Allie, at the front desk has always been kind and very helpful during the multiple phone conversations and face-to-face interaction. Needless to say, I will be back to see them in the future.
