Best dentist in North San Diego County! From the receptionist to hygienists – everyone is just highly recommendable. Dr Rappaport is very calm and knowledgeable and makes everyone in my family feel like we are getting the best care possible. Appointments are easy to schedule and there is ever any wait time. I never liked going to the dentist but since I am under their care, I feel less anxious and enjoy the great family atmosphere they just give us. In addition, they are reasonable priced and they do not up-sell on service or products. They really care and that is why I can highly recommend this office.

I was a patient of Dr. Paul Rappaport for three years and this man saved my mouth. I walked in with extensive cavities (many on teeth needing crowns) and gum disease. He referred me to a wonderful periodontist and took every appropriate measure to save my teeth. His work is meticulous and, in my opinion, a work of art. I have never felt more confident in my smile and the health of my mouth. To top it off, he has impeccable bedside manor. Kind, patient, comforting, informative, takes his time to do it right. Hands down, the best dentist I have ever used. In addition, the office staff provides a clear breakdown of the costs of every procedure before completion. I have moved to Massachusetts and am truly sad I may never find another Dr. Rappaport….

Rappaport Family Dentistry has been our dentist for the last 4 years and we couldn’t be happier with their team and services. They are extremely thorough, communicate effectively in their services and preventative care, and all around have excellent customer service. At our last dentist they had a huge turnover rate and there were never any relationships established. That is opposite at Dr. Rappaport’s office. I’ve been a patient at this practice for over five years. Professional, courteous and gentle describes the whole experience. The hygienists are pros, with steady and careful hands. They offer tips on how to maintain healthy teeth. They seem to stick with a patient too, which provides good continuity to oral health. I never leave a cleaning feeling like the Marathon Man! Dr. Rappaport has done his work with my mouth featuring a few fillings he’s installed. My most recent experience is typical of his work. We started right on time, he described what he was going to do, and got right to work. He fixed the tooth and I was out the door in under an hour. I never felt ANY pain, in fact I was able to eat a pretty normal lunch that day and by dinner time had completely forgotten that I been through the procedure that morning. You only get one set of teeth. Take care of them!

Total trust is what I have for Dr. Rappaport and his entire staff. I’ve been a patient of his since moving to Carlsbad over 7 years. He “fixed” all the problems my teeth had including replacing old and failing fillings, crowns, root canals, and implants. Dahlia is my hygienist. She cares about the health of my gums and teeth and always encourages me to use a sonic tooth brush and waterpic. Those things really do work! My husband is a patient too. We both highly recommend Dr Rappaport; you will be delighted with their skills and service! A healthy mouth will improve your overall health and confidence!

Been going to Dr Rappaport and his staff for years. Dr Rappaport is personable and gentle. I’m kinda prone to cavities so I’m picky when it comes to finding a dentist that can be gentle and keep me at ease. It also helps that Robin (whom work at the front desk) is always on top of things and always greets everyone with a smile. Did I mention that I live 40 mins away (San Diego) and drive to Carlsbad 3 times a year to see these guys? Yep, they’re worth it!

I just completed an implant process with coordinated surgery implant from North County Oral and Facial Surgery Center and saw Dr. Rappaport in Carlsbad for completion and follow up to implant process. Dr. Rappaport expertise and attention to detail is unquestionable. His friendly and professional team add another level of trust to his office. I feel fortunate to have found a dentist who is highly knowledgeable and truly cares about his profession. My recent crown which was put in last Thursday 2/22/2018, fits and looks as if it was my own tooth. Dr. Rappaport has done fillings, crowns and two post implants for me. He is the best dentist I’ve ever had and I’ve had many throughout the years.

A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Paul Rappaport received his doctoral degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1984. A post-doctoral residency at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, New York followed. Before moving to Carlsbad in 1994, Dr. Rappaport owned a dental practice in a suburb of New York. The lure of a warmer climate along with the encouragement from family brought him to San Diego. Dr. Rappaport and his two daughters live in Carlsbad. Besides spending time with his family, Dr. Rappaport enjoys travel and a variety of sports, especially golf. Since practicing in Carlsbad, Dr. Rappaport has received a "Top Dentists As Chosen By Their Peers In San Diego" award the past TEN years. Dr. Rappaport takes a great deal of pride in his work. He continues to pursue the best and newest breakthroughs in dentistry by attending dental education courses in all aspects of the dental field. Nearly every year Dr. Rappaport earns at least two times the number of continuing education hours as required.
