I had been to 4 other dentists in the Jacksonville area who either spent very little time looking at my teeth and told me every thing was fine or from one who said everything was fine until I showed him 2 teeth I was concerned about…he then replied that they needed to be pulled immediately. Then I found Dr Wohlgemuth. I knew I would be happy there after interacting with the staff who are knowledgeable, courteous and actually made my dental appointment fun. The dental hygienist was terrific, did a great job cleaning my teeth with no pain and gave me oral hygiene tips. Then I met Dr. Wohlgemuth. He did a very thorough exam, explained in detail what work was needed (the 2 teeth did not need to be pulled although one did have a very small cavity), and addressed all my concerns. After telling me my options for the work I needed done, he gave me his recommendation and the basis for it. The work I needed done was done quickly, everyone seemed to be doing something so it all got done fast., and Dr. Wohlgemuth explains everything while he is working. I have never had to wait in their waiting room; if my appointment was at 10am I was being taken in at 10am!!! I recommend Dr Wohlgemuth to all of my friends.

Simply great! I’m not too fond of dentists in general but the office of Dr. Wohlgemuth has shown me that there’s still hope for good dentists with a great staff. To begin with, I needed to be seen during my relocation from Miami to Jacksonville and Holly was amazing, trying to squeeze me in, patiently answering all my questions, etc. When I was finally able to get an appointment (yes, this is the only downside, they’re always booked!), both the assistant and the doctors were great. When I asked when was the anesthesia coming, I was told it was already done. Can’t beat that! They have my vote!

Who knew that going to the dentist could be such a fun and enjoyable experience. The office staff is incredibly friendly, efficient, and professional. They take the time to make sure that I am comfortable and understand everything including my complicated insurance. I feel blessed that I have found a dental office that makes me feel like family, never makes me wait for my appointment and actually listens to me!

Great Staff and Great Expeirences for a former Dentist Dreader!!!! Thank you to the Atlantic Coast Dental Team for your outstanding service and personable approach. I used to be just generally uncomfortable about a dentist appointment and avoided them as a result. At least, that is until my wife dragged me to Atlantic Coast Dental. Dr Paul and his team always make it a very comfortable and personable expeirence. I’ve had several procedures performed (on account of avoiding the dentist before I found them) and all of them have been pain free, easygoing expeirences. It’s made it easy to visit them and I will admit I’m hard to please sometimes. Dr Paul knows his profession backwards and forwards. Jay is just one of several awesome hygenists is the practice and is professional and as easy to get a long with as they come (He’s the man!). The office manager and team at the front desk is organized, professional and, above all, ALWAYS friendly. Thanks Atlantic Coast for taking the dread out of dentistry. Keep up the good work!!

I just returned from my x ray and cleaning visit. The staff was SO friendly yet EFFICIENT. I didn’t wait ANY time before a nice technician did X-rays with MODERN equipment…The offices were pristine. This office is simply the best! I am so impressed with the level of care and professionalism of everyone in the practice. Dr. Wohlgemuth never pushes dental work on you, he gives you a great exam and advises you on what is best. The front desk is great to work with and they truly try to accommodate my crazy work schedule. I’ve had some bad experiences in other dental offices, and I can honestly say that this office has changed my opinion of going to the dentist. Oh BTW…….they are always on time! So refreshing!!! I highly recommend this office to anyone!

I love this office. I believe they truly care about people and try to help them as much as possible. I came to Dr. Wohlgemuth as a second opinion. My prior dentist wanted to fill a large number of teeth and crown several more. Dr Wohlgemuth probably performed one of the most thorough dental exams I have had. His recommendations were much more in line with what I had expected. Before I left they made sure I had my questions answered and next appointment scheduled. The office is very thorough and prompt. The staff was professional and courteous. There is not much more you can ask for in a dental office.

This is a pleasant dentist to go to. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. When there is additional work that needs to be done, everything is explained to you and they give you an estimate of your out of pocket cost after the insurance estimated payment portion. Dr. Wohlgemuth is warm and helpful. He seems to really enjoy his profession. He ensures his office is technologically up to date. Everything looks like it is state of the art. You are sent email reminders of your appointments and you can confirm appointments via email.

A co-worker referred me to Dr. Paul, and I am so glad she did. Even though it is about a 45 minute commute or me, I hope I never have to find another dentist. While most medical offices don’t bother getting patients in on time, I have never had to wait past my appointment time. Jay (my hygienist) has a wonderful demeanor and I look forward to my twice yearly visits, and he never hurts my mouth during a cleaning. I have referred several other co-workers to Dr. Paul and Jay, and they are equally pleased.
