I am very happy with Dr. Kim. She is very personable, caring, and a very good dentist. She replaced my crown last week and that one is the only crown in my mouth that looks just like my tooth. She is amazing! I am so glad I found this practice. I wish I had done it sooner. I love her staff, too. They are always very courteous and professional.

Pender Dental Care is without question top notch. From the moment your appointment is scheduled to the moment you walk out the door, quality of service is unmatched. 1. Friendly and convenient reminders that your bi-annual service/cleaning is approaching. 2. Once scheduled, friendly and convenient (calls, emails or texts) appointment reminders. 3. Always timely service; I’ve never actually waited in the waiting room. 4. Never any administrative issues. 5. Dr. Kim is sharp as a nail — she recalls conversations from your last visit like you had spoke just yesterday. It honestly feels like you are having a conversation with a close friend, who at the same time, is taking care of your dental needs. Dr. Kim is very professional, pleasant, ensures you are comfortable during any procedure, and there is NEVER ANY ZERO UP SELL pressure. (I’ve been to dentists in the past that wouldn’t let you leave without purchasing the latest teeth whitening product.) Dr. Kim advises you of the situation, explains what the potential options or procedure would be and any potential consequences, and finally she gives her professional recommendation. You then can take the time to weigh your options and schedule another appointment at a later date if another procedure is necessary. I would recommend Dr. Kim and her staff to ANYONE who is looking for a new dental provider.

Long story short, I had been suffering with dental pain as a result of another dentist’s mistake for almost a year.  It got to the point where that other dentist had given up on trying to help me.  I dealt with the pain for almost a year, just believing that I needed to live on painkillers for the rest of my life.  However, there came a point when those painkillers weren’t helping any more.   I reached out to Dr. Kim on the advice of a colleague.  Within 1 week, she had solved my problem.  The dedication she showed in researching and offering a variety of options to me, is unparalleled.  Her staff squeezed me in for several last minute appointments, without a blink of the eye.  But what meant the most to me, by far was how committed she was to helping me feel better. Amazing office, amazing staff, and the best dentist I’ve ever seen in my life.

I have been going to Dr. Kim for years now. She is the best dentist I have ever had, and I have had a lot. I have extremely bad teeth so I’ve had to get a lot of fillings and root canals. Nonetheless, I always look forward to seeing Dr. Kim. When she does a procedure, it is extremely fast and painless. She always talks to me like a FRIEND and not a client. Her staff is extremely kind and capable. I will never go to a different dentist in my life!

Love Dr. Kim!! Best dentist I’ve had so far! I normally go to the merrifield office, however I believe she’s closing that one down. This office in Fairfax is very nice and clean! The staff is great! Annie at the front desk is always so friendly. The hygienists do a great job. Dr. Kim is very thorough and will tell you what you need to do to prevent future issues. Highly recommended!

Dr. Kim took her time with me and explained everything, including treatment options. The Dental Assistant / Hygienist, Grace, was wonderful. The front desk staff was very efficient in checking me in as a new patient and after I saw the doctor explained what my insurance would cover and what my out of pocket expense would be, as well as setting up my next two appointments. I was very happy with everything about the practice and expect I will be a long term customer.

In the past month, I’ve had three visits to Dr. Kim to have multiple cavities filled. She is very kind, professional and encourages you to ask questions. I’ve never had a dentist explain things as thoroughly as she does, which is helpful. While having dental work is never fun, I’ve had a great experience with Dr. Kim and her staff and would definitely recommend her!

I have been a patient with Pender Dental Care for many years now. Dr. Kim knows her stuff! I’ve been here for numerous cleanings, fillings and crown replacements. I have never had any issues. It’s nice to go to a dentist that actually cares and listens to all your concerns! Dr. Kim and her staff are friendly and attentive. I always feel well taken care of when I’m there. They are the best around!

As far as dental offices go, Pender Dental Care is the best I’ve been to. Dr. Kim is fantastic, non judgemental and very attentive to the needs of her patients (or at least mine anyway). The staff are always professional, able to give fairly accurate quotes on work with or without insurance. That’s not to say that if an issue is masking another that your bill won’t be higher but the work done is very reasonably priced. Have been a patient for years and will continue to be. You probably will be as well if you swing in for an appointment.

I needed to make an appointment to fix a piece of old dental work that had broken the night before. My regular dentist was unable to get me in for a week. I have family members that see Dr Kim and they recommended I give her a call – she had me in that afternoon. My crown is all prepped and overall the experience was easy and thorough. Dr Kim is caring and professional. I have a hard time getting numb at the dentist, which causes me some anxiety. She really took her time to make me comfortable and explained everything she was doing as she worked. I will be going back here even after I get my permanent crown installed!

My fears of going to the dentist are 30 years strong and in one appt this practice eased every bit of that fear. Dr . Kim and her staff are top notch. I won’t be going anywhere else as long as I live in the area..even then I’d be willing to travel an hours distance for this dental experience.  Truly amazing.
