I had a dental emergency situation occur over Easter Sunday come Monday morning I called the office asked to be seen and as always Andrea was so willing and understanding she squeezed me in to be seen in what was a very busy scheduled day. I got to the office at the appointed time was greeted and shortly after was taken in to be evaluated. The dental assistant was extremely sympathetic to my situation and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. Dr Barkoff then evaluated the situation and explained all options and which would be the best way to go. Dr Barkoff is an extremely talented dentist and was very concerned with my comfort level throughout the entire procedure. I am extremely happy with Barkoff Dental, Dr Barkoff and his entire staff. Highly recommend Dr. Barkoff and his staff. Dr. Barkoff is a wonderful dentist and an extremely caring human being. He was aware that i was gong through radiation and he did everything to get me out of pain as quickly and painlessly as possible. I ended up needing a bone graft and was concerned, as I had heard so many frightening reports from friends…mine went smoothly and easily. His staff called to see that i was doing okay and made sure that I knew I could get to Dr. Barkoff easily should i need him. Having been to many dental practices throughout my life this one is definitely the very best!

Dr. Barkoff and his team are wonderful. I recently became a patient and his whole team welcomed me and made me feel very comfortable on the way they do dentistry. Last week I broke a tooth and called the office, and his team showed empathy and did their best to get me an appointment very quickly. Dr. Barkoff knew exactly what to do and fixed my tooth quickly. Most important he gave me assurance and a sense of calm about the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Barkoff.

The office is new and amazing! You can watch whatever you want on their televisions while they do your dental work ( they have all the latest apps like Hulu). The staff is beyond nice— they actually focus on customer service which many medical offices don’t. They are always trying to accommodate office visit times for you and and go out of their way to find a cancellation for you, if that time works better for you. Dr. Barkoff is experienced, knowledgeable and down to earth! He gets to know his patients. I can’t remember any time where a dentist or doctor actually was apologetic that my phone call went to the answering machine- he is that concerned with customer service! I am so happy I started coming here a couple of years ago!

Dr. Barkoff and his staff are simply the best! The girls in the front are always so friendly and have a smile on their face. They are accommodating and honest. It’s not one of those offices where you wait forever. They let you know if they’re running a little behind schedule, if ever. I’ve been going to Dr. Barkoff for years and probably have had every hygienist clean my teeth. They are all gentle and leave me feeling great. Dr. Barkoff has come through for me in emergencies. Always a phone call away. My 4 year old son had an emergency and Dr. Barkoff took such extreme care taking care of him and was so patient with him. My son had no idea he was getting a deep cavity filled. He even called the next day to see how my son was doing. The office is extremely clean. I can’t say enough good things about Barkoff Dental!

Recently had a dental emergency and my normal practice was unable to take me. Dr. Barkoff and his staff squeezed me in on short notice. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and beyond friendly. The space was cute, very clean, and in a convenient area. Coffee, and drinks were out for their patients waiting to be seen. Barkoff is one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. He made sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. His confidence, charisma, and knowledge eased my mind, and let me know I was in fantastic hands.

My entire family have been patients at Barkoff Dental for well over twenty years. Everyone, from the front desk, to the hygienists, the assistants and the doctors are all expert at what they do and are warm and caring people while performing the work. I could not even think of using another dental office, as I am confident in their work and always feel welcome at the office. I highly recommend Barkoff Dental and their professional staff and services.

After several BAD dentist visits with DIFFERENT dentists (not mentioning any names, ahem, Plosky, ahem, Shine, ahem) I stumbled on Dr. Barkoff’s office while looking for a new dentist. Man did I get lucky. This place is great. The front staff is SO FRIENDLY and beyond accommodating. The first thing I should mention on the list of great reasons to make this your dentist is the fact that the front staff gives you a breakdown of what your insurance covers and what you’ll be responsible for BEFORE you have any work done. This means you get to decide whether or not you can afford it, or whatever other reason you may need. Sounds like that should be normal for any dentist right? We’ll for most other dentist offices on Long Island, they like to do the work without even letting you know how much it’ll be. Dr. Barkoff is great. He’s easy to talk to, actually cares when he’s talking to you, and gives you straight answers (whether you like it or not). I’d rather be told what’s wrong and what his professional opinion is and then make the decision myself which is exactly what Dr. Barkoff does. The waiting room and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. The waiting room has a plush couch and a few chairs with a TV and complimentary coffee and water while you wait. Appointments are filled on time, which means if you’re appointment is at 1pm, you actually get in at 1pm. As far as the drilling, picking and cleaning experience goes, Dr. Barkoff makes the whole procedure painless and quick. I’ve already had more than one root canal done, as well as a few fillings and crowns done without pain, and the Novocain typically wears off in a few hours (3-4 hours if I had to take a guess). I’ve already recommended friends and family to Dr. Barkoff and figured I should write a review so everyone else can know too! If you’re looking for a great dentist, look no further than Dr. Barkoff.

Had an really bad mouth pain and called Barkoff dental. Being a pandemic I really didn’t expect to get an appointment and they got me right in for an emergency appointment. I was able to do all the paperwork online so I didn’t have to sit in the office for a hour filling that mess out. When I got there I only had to take one X-ray and they saw I needed a root canal. They did it immediately. I told Dr. Barkoff how much of a baby I was with dental pain and he was really assuring that he wouldn’t do anything if I felt any pain. Let me tell you, I felt NO PAIN at all during the root canal. Afterwards, I had no pain at all and my mouth wasn’t swollen at all.Dr. Barkoff and his assistant were so nice and gave a great experience! I’ve never been so at ease at a dentist office!

The best doctor experience I have ever experienced. The staff is friendly and professional. The doctors are experienced, knowledgeable and make going to the dentist something to look forward to not dread. They’re follow up and reminder system is extremely easy and convenient. Almost no waiting time day of appointment! Every doctor should try and take a page out of their book! Thank you Barkoff Dental!

I had been battling pain in my front tooth since early April. Of course with Covid-19 I was extremely anxious about going to the dentist. I ended up at the Dental Urgent Care at the end of April. Got X-Rays and needed a couple of root canals but they were out of network and I was sent home with antibiotics. Fast forward 3 weeks my pain was unbearable. I found Dr. Barkoff and the rest is history. I can’t believe the amazing service I received at Barkoff Dental. When I arrived for my appointment I called that I arrived. They called me back a few minutes later to come inside. The place was impeccably clean. The lovely hygienist ( I didn’t get her name but she was extremely nice) took my temperature and escorted me to a dental chair. She took X-rays and then Dr. Barkoff came in. He explained that I needed a 3D scan as well. AMAZING technology at this office! From the scans he saw my issues and got right to work. He did two root canals in record time! This place was a Godsend in a time that I needed help and I am forever grateful! Definitely considering making Dr. Barkoff my permanent dentist! THANK YOU BARKOFF DENTAL!!
