I have been going to Peterson Family Dentistry for years. Dr. Peterson and his crew are the most welcoming, genuine group of professionals. From the pleasant greetings when you walk in the door to the genuine interest in your well being during your visit. Unlike other places, I have never had to give my name when I show up because they truly know their clients. The office is inviting and warm. My favorite parts are the Tv’s they have on the ceilings and the large selection of movies to watch when having procedures done. Just kidding. My favorite thing is actually that they ask numerous times throughout your visit how you are doing. They genuinely care about your comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Peterson. He’s a genuine caring dentist that wants his clientele to have a comfortable experience from start to finish.

Myself and my family have been going to Peterson Family Dentistry for a yr and a half and could not be happier. They are all so friendly and knowledgeable. And Dr. Peterson is amazing, friendly, and listens to all my questions and concerns. I would defiantly recommend anyone to go there.

Dr Peterson is awesome! He uses a computer system to get your tooth numb! If you have ever had a bad experience with anesthesia this is the best way to get numb! I have had first hand experience with it and Dr delivered a pain free shot ! Give Dr Peterson’s office a try if you are looking for a personable dentist who really remembers who you are and genuinely cares about you as a patient and your family!

After too many years of not going to a dentist, I went to Peterson Family Dental. I had two teeth removed and very little pain. I went back and with Dr. Petersons help made a plan to fix my teeth. He made me feel comfortable about my decisions and after having 4 teeth removed today I am on my way to a healthy mouth. Thank you Dr Peterson you make it relaxing to go to the dentist. I recommend Peterson Family Dental to those who need a friendly and relaxing dental experience.

Dr. Peterson is THE BEST dentist I have ever been to! I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist and always get really anxious when I go, BUT ever since going to dr. John, I feel so comfortable and relaxed when getting my teeth worked on. Him and his staff are all amazing!! Hands down the best dentist office ever! I’d be willing to drive hours to go see them instead of someone else!

We love Peterson Family Dentistry! Dr. Peterson is very skilled and knowledgeable but he is also very personable. We’ve been seeing Dr. Peterson for years and have never had a bad experience. I’m the last person who should ever write a positive review regarding a dentist. Let me start from the beginning… As a kid, I had had braces for five years. During these five years, I had four teeth pulled, my mouth wired shut, and countless brackets and wires pop off, shredding my mouth and lips. Once I had my braces removed, I avoided seeing a dentist for many years. My first visit back to a dentist was traumatic. I had an intern work on me, and it was a disaster. He was so rough they had to step in multiple times to correct what he was doing and apologize for his mistakes. Long story short, I left in pain, bleeding, and with so much cavity filling residue on my teeth, I had to go to a different dentist to have it removed. That was 1999, and my last dentist visit until 2011. In 2011 I was introduced to Dr. Peterson to help him sell his home. As a realtor, I was excited about the opportunity but terrified that he was a dentist. I just knew he was going to ask me who my dentist was, and then insist on seeing me once he found out that not only did I not have one, but that I hadn’t seen one in almost 12 years. How little did I know this was going to change my oral health and my opinion of how dentistry should and could be done. I was scared to death my first visit. I sat in the parking lot shaking, and searching for any reason not to go inside. I finally mustered the courage, and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Peterson’s staff knew I was terrified and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and aware of everything they were doing. I’m sure they spent more time on me that day than they’ve ever spent on a patient before, but I will never forget how gentle, caring, and understanding they were with me. I never went more than a couple minutes without them ensuring I was ok and I couldn’t have been more pleased. This review is long enough, so I’m going to skip to the present. I have now seen Dr. Peterson twice a year for eight years and have referred dozens of satisfied clients, friends, and family members. I couldn’t be more happy with my smile and how my teeth look and feel. If you’re looking for a dentist to clean your teeth, there are probably several options in the valley that would work for you. If you’re looking for a team of professional, caring, sympathetic, and overall amazing human beings, this is the dentistry office for you and your family.

I first met Dr. Peterson years ago when my tooth broke on a friday afternoon and I had recently moved to the area and had no dentist. I randomly called his office and they not only checked my tooth but stayed late to fix it. He said he just couldn’t let me go all weekend without fixing it. That same service and care has been given me and my family since. They work hard to schedule all 5 of my kids in a way to get us in and out as quick as possible. The entire staff is not only friendly but exceptional at what they do.

John Peterson has been a friend to my teeth and my family for many years now. He has been there to repair teeth that got damaged, even coming in the evening to fix kids teeth after crashing on skates or bicycles. The hygienists have pleasant bedside manner, the office is clean and well-lit, the location is convenient, the parking lot is typically open and easy to navigate, there is is a kids area, the waiting area has comfortable furniture… it is what I expect from a dental office and staff.

Dr peterson and his staff have always been awesome. I had a fear of the dentist from past experiences and Dr peterson is always genuinely concerned for my comfort and always makes sure my visit is pleasant. Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Went to Peterson Dental on Tuesday with one of my back teeth aching and found out that the crack in my tooth had fractured even more. They were able to fit me in the next morning, by doing this they were able to save my tooth even having to work around my braces still being on. I’ve been to another dentist in the Meridian area and Peterson Dental is by far the best Dentist I have been to the last few years. They do not rush through your appointments and make sure everything is taken care. I’ve found my dentist while I reside in this area.

Dr. Peterson is the best dentist I have ever come across! I have had many negative experiences from childhood through adulthood. Dr. Peterson is the only dentist in all of those long years who correctly diagnosed the issues I was having with my teeth. He and his staff deeply care about their patients, make every effort to make you feel comfortable. My smile is immeasurably better since becoming his patient.
