I am very happy I was referred to Phelps and Cohen for my children’s orthodontic needs. They are wonderful with kids. My daughter’s smile is radiant and the process was easy and enjoyable. she really enjoyed getting rewarded for doing the right things and the contests. My son recently got braces and he really enjoys the games too. As far as COVID, they have taken it very seriously and their protocols are very strict and safe but very simple to follow. I highly recommend them for your orthodontic needs.

Professional, clear, honest, organized and clean place. I had a recommendation from my dentist to this place to plan my orthodontist treatment. They are in sync and in permanent communication. They don’t push anything you don’t want to do and always listen their patients concerns to help them take the best choice.

well my name is annet & when i was 12,this was 4 years ago. i had an appointment,to see how much it would be to get my braces but my insurances didnt cover my braces & dr.phelps was the one looking at my teeths..they wernt the greatest teeths in the world some kind of teeths that you wouldnt even want to smile they where stained but was from birth not because i wouldnt brush them lol..honestly till this moment i wouldnt know what made him want to help me out with my problem he offered me to get my teeths fixed fully..i could honestly say that day changed my life,im very thankful for what he did to me his hard work his time to for me when i didnt even pay anything thats what was surprising when he just offered to do everything for free.my mom says his an “angel that fell from the sky”.i was happy that i met him & his crew dey are the nicest people you could ever meet.four years working on my tooths it took..& when the end came i couldnt even believe it time went flying.& till this day i will never forget dr.phelps.he changed my life because thanks to all his team i smile to my fullest not worrying what people would of said if i still had the teeth i had.it took along time but all worth it.thank you..THANKS A LOT.i hope to see all you guys soon.thanks dr.cohen to.& marisol 😀 all of you guys..who ever reads this just knw that this crew is the best you could ever find..i told my mom when ever i have my kids phelps&cohen orthodontics is where they going to be goin.. bye now & thankz for who ever actually took the time to read this..

We moved to Oregon 6 months ago. Our son, Tyler had just gotten his braces off, but still needed follow-up care with his retainers. His twin sisters were ready for their 2nd stage since their adult molars had come in. We found a new orthodontist. He was blown away by Tyler’s teeth. He said, “Wow. His orthodontist nailed it— his teeth are perfect. Tyler’’s mouth was crowded, so he’d had the buds of his wisdom teeth out. Dr. Phelps said that on a scale of ten for difficulty Tyler was a 10. However, he also said he didn’t like to take out healthy teeth unnecessarily and he thought he could do it. His care with Tyler was amazing (as was the rest of the staff). The new orthodontist kept saying how blown away he was by how perfect Tyler’s teeth were. He was also impressed with what they’d done with the girls in their first stage and how easy it would be to get them finished. So, kudos to Dr. Phelps and the rest of the team. We thank you!

If you need to get braces, please go to Dr’s Phelps and Cohen.  They, along with their staff are amazing!  I had jaw reconstruction and had to have braces for nearly two years before the surgery,  during the surgery and for six months after the surgery.  The staff and doctors were so gentle and understanding of what I was going through and my teeth look great.  They are professionals through and through.  I now am sending my two children to them for their braces.  They are wonderful with children.  They have a reward program with tokens for prizes and have guessing games and other fun stuff year-round.  I highly recommend them.  I LOVE PHELPS AND COHEN ORTHODONTICS!

My son has had his braces off for almost a year and today HE GRADUATED completely from care as his retainer is doing the job it is supposed to be doing! I loved both Dr. Phelps and Dr. Cohen. Both always took the time to talk to me about my son’s progress and areas that he needed to work on. The office staff are all very polite and professional. The payment plan that I set up fit perfectly with my budget (though I wish I had ortho insurance) it was all worth every penny.  I have recommended this office to others and again even though they are a bit more expensive then the quick stop ortho shop; the work is impeccable and that is something you shouldn’t save a buck on!  The newly remodeled office is beautiful and I am sorry to leave this place but we will make sure to stop in and say hello from time to time

My kids just stated going here . The staff is so friendly. I have called and made adjustment to my appointment as things always come up , and they are so accommodating. They are super friendly. The staff has done a great job in teaching and training us parents on how this how process works . It’s a big 2 year commitment so you definitely need a great supportive cast on your side .

I came to see Dr. Phelps because I wanted to get a second opinion. I’m so glad I did! Dr. Phelps told me exactly what I needed and what I didn’t need. He save me so much money. I didn’t end up needing braces. I just needed a retainer. He was very nice and professional. I’m glad I found him on Yelp. I like that the office was open really early at 7:30am, so I was able to go straight to work after. Office was very nice inside. All the staffs were also very sweet.

Drs. Phelps and Cohen have been working with my teenage son on his orthodontics. They have been outstanding. My son’s smile looks terrific. I always felt that they were offering me their best professional opinion in regard to treatment. When there were decisions to be made, they always took the time to explain our options. Orthodontic work is an investment, but this office is the best. I referred a friend’s daughter who had a bad experience elsewhere and they were able to fix the problems that others had caused. My friend was really appreciative of the referral. The staff is always friendly and responsive. On all levels – quality of work, quality of service, and professionalism I give them the highest rating.

I visited about two days ago with my mother for a second opinion about my braces and Dr. Phelps was extremely helpful. He gave us all the options and explained the process and outcomes of each. Previously we had spent more than 5k on Invisalign which did not actually move my teeth. Dr. Phelps was visibly upset about this and gave us ways to get our money back like contacting the Dental Society. He was extremely nice and I recommend him for everyone!

What a great experience! Phelps and Cohen is THE place to go. The office environment is AWESOME–you can tell everyone really enjoys working there. They’re professional, friendly and totally fun! There’s great music and entertaining games to get you through the months of treatment. It really made the whole process pleasant…maybe even enjoyable! P&C uses the latest technology in orthodontics and everything is computerized. Dr. Cohen and Dr. Phelps are absolutely the best. No doubt. Believe me, I shopped around before choosing an orthodontist. I’m so happy that I made the right choice! Make an appointment for a consultation…You will NOT be disappointed.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Phelps and his team. He leads by example and is someone you definitely want on your health care team. You’ll immediately feel welcomed and like your part of the family. He will work tirelessly to deliver the greatest level of care in orthodontics, craniofacial pain, TMJ, and sleep breathing disorders.

I have just finished a two year program with terrific results. Both Dr. Phelps and Dr. Cohen were completely familiar with my case and took excellent care of me. They have a very well trained support cast that seems to always be upbeat, positive and very competent. They all seem to be on the same page at the same time. I am an adult who had an awful bite that was destroying my teeth. They were terrific. My teeth now look great and my bite is excellent. — I consider myself hard to please and they get an A+ from me. I am so pleased that Dr. Alane Lee, DDS, my terrific dentist referred me to them.

Just had braces applied at the Phelps & Cohen’s practice. This will be my 3rd round of braces, not to mention a round of invisalign that I have gone through. I have to say that this experience was extremely pleasant and much different from the other two that I have gone through. It was a Saturday morning and the first impression walking into the office was super friendly. Each person that I interacted with seemed very happy to be there and genuinely was working towards making my experience as easy as could be. Although most Orthodontist will tell you what needs to be done, Dr Phelps really listened to what I personally wanted to accomplish and provided a plan to accomplish exactly that, as oppose to just telling me what can and cant be done. I also noticed a huge difference in the factor of comfort after having the braces put in. The other two experience were an absolute nightmare on the levels of pain and soreness, but with the Damon brackets I hardly felt anything. Most of the time I even forget I have them on. All in all, this has been by far the best experience that I have had so far. I will definitely be signing my kids up to start treatment here very soon!

Went for a consult for my 12 year old after consulting 3 others and getting very unclear treatment options from each one. We loved the clarity Dr. Phelps provided. He explained the nuances very well and spelled out caveats and theoretically best approaches vs. what is actually needed. I wish we went to him first rather than spending our time confused and overwhelmed with the other consults. He even did a free X-ray in his own office in order to consult and recommend a treatment. None of the 3 did that and I wonder how accurate the treatment discussion is without looking at xrays. He is most genuine and authentic given he did not push us for treatment in his office and most of all recommended that we wait for treatment since my daughter is still growing. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Phelps is truly a leader in the Airway Orthodontic field and brings together the understanding and treatment necessary for narrow jaws, airway problems and resultant pain and dysfunction patterns. My only hope is that more patients discover his unique approach and be set up for a lifetime of better breathing, beautiful smiles and orofacial balance. So far, 3 of our 4 kids have been receiving orthodontic care from Phelps & Cohen. This a great place that provides thorough care, and clear communication up-front regarding the treatment plan and ongoing throughout the process. Their staff are kind and courteous. Appointments have always ran on-time even though they have a large volume of patients they care for. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were able to adjust their logistics and scheduling relatively quickly to maintain a safe environment for both patients and their staff, while also staying organized and professional – my kids’ treatment plans/schedules were uninterrupted. Highly recommend this office for orthodontic care!

My son just entered the retainer phase of his treatment with Phelps and Cohen Orthodontics. We loved every part of his treatment. It ran much longer than we all expected as his molars were slow to come down but the doctors and the staff made sure he was comfortable throughout and kept us updated on how it was going and why it was taking long. We are still waiting for one to come down! They never rushed the treatment and I really appreciate their understanding. On top of this they are very tech savvy. They have QR code posted in front of every parking spot! We loved the convenience of checking in straight from the car using our phones. Continuous health monitoring and safe practices followed by the entire staff made us feel safe during our checkups during the pandemic. They also have a reward system where the kids earn points for simple natural things like brushing before the appointment and maintaining good hygiene. This encouraged a healthy ‘responsibility leads to commitment and ultimately, success’ attitude. My son was happy when he could redeem his points for a gift card at the end of the treatment. The care here is very professional, thorough , and friendly and they take the time to make sure you understand everything they are doing. Our visits here are usually quick and on time, my kids don’t mind going (which I can’t always say of doctors and dentists we visit), and we are all comfortable with the staff members. 2 of my 3 children are patients here and when/if my son needs orthodontia, he will be a patient as well!

Amazing staff that was very helpful with my first appointment. The analysis done during my consult was above and beyond what I anticipated. The price I was quoted was a little higher than another practice, but I feel that I will be receiving great treatment here. I also did not feel pressured to pursue treatment.

We just started the process of a palate expander and I as a nurse was very pleased with the explanation of the process the ability to help with my benefits and do what financially made the most sense considering the use of FSA accounts, insurance ect….The office was organized with their COVID procedures and how they are moving people in and out of the building …so far we’ve had a fantastic experience

Where do I start this ortho office is amazing. The atmosphere is inviting and fun. This office is very high tech, modern, and clean.You can tell they all enjoy what they do. The assistants in the back are very knowledgeable and have great people skills. My kids are both in treatment here. They look forward to their appointments.They like the rewards program and earning points. The girls and doctors are very detailed oriented and take pride in their work.I appreciate that they take the time to listen to our concerns and answer are questions. What are you waiting for give them a call! I wouldn’t send my family, friends, or patients any where else.
