Excellent experience. Quick and on-time appointments. Had a filling in a tough spot (rear side of a wisdom tooth – horrible position). But Dr. Wenzel and the technician made it a breeze and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Both appointments, they made sure I knew everything I needed to know and were very thorough.

I very pleased with the service provided by Dr. Wenzel and her staff at Piatt Park Dental. I had the same dentist for over 20 years and was nervous about seeing some new. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Dr. Wenzel went over everything during my exam. I love that she takes moth photos so I can see exactly what she is talking about. She does a great job of explaining preventative treatments that can be done at home as well as in the office.

I’m a new patient and new to the Cincinnati area. I chose this dentist for its convenient location, but I was extremely impressed with the experience. The staff was welcoming and diligent about making sure I was comfortable and safe, particularly when entering the office with a mask and checking my temperature upon arrival. Dr. Wenzel gave clear explanations of what she was doing and why during the exam and cleaning, something I’ve never experienced at a dentist before. I’ll be recommending them to anyone I know in need of a new dentist!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Wenzel since last year after she took over the practice of my long-time dentist. The transition was seamless and she also brings up-to-date technology, especially imaging, so that you can immediately see exactly what’s going on. She recommended that I use a Waterpik in addition to flossing, which I did, and it has resulted in greatly improved teeth and gum conditions. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, and Brandy is a very experienced and personable dental assistant. At my most recent appointment, I underwent almost two hours of drilling for cavities and preparation for a crown. Dr. Wenzel said that the tooth would probably hurt for a few days, but I’m still waiting … There has been no pain whatsoever, which I attribute to her advanced skill and caring approach. I’m not saying that I ever look forward to seeing a dentist, but I’m certainly not the least bit apprehensive about seeing Dr. Wenzel. I cannot recommend her highly enou

We relocated to downtown Cincinnati two years ago from Union KY. I’ve seen my dentist there in Union for almost two decades. The drive got to be too much, so we set out to find a closer dentist. We are so blessed to have discovered Dr. Wenzel and her fabulous staff. The office is beautiful but the people are what makes the experience. Dr. Wenzel took the time to educate me on my teeth and made practical suggestions to meet the goals I have for my oral health. My Pratt Park Dental experience this morning was absolutely delightful! Not the fixing of a crown…. but the staff and Dr Wenzel were kind, thorough, fun, and genuine professionals. It’s totally possible to be nice AND professional! The music was pleasant and the environment was fresh and clean. Thank you for choosing a downtown spot for your practice and taking such good care of my teeth! Update: so I loved this place at first…. until I realized that they knew they didn’t accept my insurance (one of the most common) and never told me! Then strongly influenced me to get a mouth gaurd that was of course not covered by my insurance and hundreds of dollars. Turns out, I really don’t need it guess that’s how I made 40 years without one! Second opinion. Ask questions. They are not customer centric, there to make money!

My first appointment was about a week ago at Piatt, and it was an unexpected treat. There are currently three women (to my knowledge) running this clinic, and they are absolutely fantastic. The lovely Laura will be at the front desk to greet you as you come in. Armed with a warm, kind smile, and a laugh that comes easily- she is an absolute pleasure to speak with. Please ensure you thank her for her time and concern as she sees about coordinating your care. Brandy will likely come out to see you next, and take you back to get to know you and your teeth. She has been practicing her craft for about 20 years, and it shows. Brandy is calm, collected, knowledgeable, and conscientious. …She might have you bite down on a large uncomfortable device that is reminiscent of a stop watch welded to a horse bit- but she will keep an eye out for you and sympathetically hold the device while you attempt to subdue your overactive gag reflex. (…Or maybe that was just me?) Dr. Wenzel will be along shortly to review your pictures/ x-rays taken. She has bright, inquisitive eyes and a brighter smile that remains infectious even while transmitted through a face mask. I do not think I could give a higher or more odd sounding compliment than this- “I have never felt less worried, or more comfortable, with both of someone’s hands in my mouth.” I do not typically take the time to post reviews unless something is amiss- these ladies however deserve all the credit yet to come due. I am happy to support a good business with genuinely great and compassionate people holding it up. Don’t miss your chance to visit and see for yourself. Then boost them, if you too come to the same conclusion.

Was surprised to learn my dentist of 20yrs was retiring and handing over reigns to a new dentist whom I was yet to visit. As luck would have it before I could make it to my next scheduled cleaning I developed a pain of a toothache that I hadn’t experienced since i was 8yrs old. With trepidation I’m off to an unknown dentist for who knows what – and I’m here to tell you I couldn’t have been more pleased with Dr. Wenzel. I never thought I’d be pleased with having to have a tooth pulled (2nd molar along a bone graft at her recommendation) – but she saved me that day. I hadn’t felt pain like that in a long time. When she told me the tooth was out I almost didn’t believe her..it was that smooth a procedure. I always trusted my old dentist and his referral and recommendation for Dr. Wenzel comes as no surprise as being a solid recommendation. But I honestly have to say that if my old dentist decided to come back…I’m not sure I’d go back…..I have a new dentist now! Thank you Dr. Wenzel and staff.

Dr. Wenzel is great! Answered all my questions and educated me. And I ask a lot of questions. Walked me through every step (cleaning, filling, crown) and it was honestly the best experience I have ever had for all three.
