I am with Plaza Dental Group, Elham Partovi, DDS for numbers of years and am very happy with this dentist office. Dr. Partovi always do a wonderful jobs for the dental care, kind and friendly. Nurse Nancy is great. I like to ask questions and she was very patient, detail explained to educate me. When I did my 2-implants in January this year, my blood pressure was jumped very high for scare for this type of surgery which I never know what is. But Nancy was there by my side, holding my hands to show and give me the love, care, support I needed most at that time. And after the implants surgery she called and checked on me, and asked me is OK to reach her anytime, due to I live alone, and noone can take care me. The caring she showed me, I am very appreciated all she does on her duty. The staffs are getting along well also.

What a great Experience I had at Plaza Dental. I received great care by people who cared about my dental health. I had the most extensive exam I have ever had in my life. Dr Partovi explained all the necessary treatment I needed as well as put together a preventive plan. My treatment Plan was based on my dental needs. I had looked into getting a HMO insurance plan but after I did some research I learned that most HMO plans only offer limited dental care. HMO plans tell you that all procedures are covered when they really aren’t. When I read Plaza’s Yelp reviews I noticed that the only time there was a bad review is when people felt that they were being asked to do dental work that was not needed. I know that Dr. Partovi’s preventive plan is to help me prevent my teeth from breaking especially the ones with the large silver fillings. I don’t have to do the treatment right away but by letting me know which teeth may break in the future I can do the treatment as I can afford thus stopping me from having any financial surprises. Dr Partovi explained to me that my teeth were very crooked and I could have Invisalign done which are clear braces. I am over 60 years old and didn’t know that by having my teeth straighten it would help prevent gum disease. I only wanted a regular cleaning but if you have deep areas around your teeth that are deeper then a 5 mm you need a procedure called Root Planing. It is must more expensive then a cleaning but it does stop the gum disease from getting worst. If Dr .Partovi had not explained that to me I may have lost some of my teeth due to bone loss. Maybe someone else would have thought why at this age should I have my teeth straighten but I was very grateful that she had educated me to know that this was an option for me. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants to go to a Dentist that cares about you as well as your dental health and not your pocket book

After many years with the same dentist, I was forced to look for a new one and throught I would give Plaza Dental Group a try. I was pleasantly surprised! Dr. Partovi is caring and extremely competent. After a little trouble with a new crown (requiring a subsequent root canal), Dr. Partovi worked with me on getting things fixed to my satisfaction, including working with me on the cost. If you are looking for a dentist, (who gives pain-free shots!), give Dr. Partovi a try.

I am thrilled to find this Dental Group after several bad experiences with Dentist’s who value the almighty dollar more than caring and professionalism. Dr. Partovi and Dr. Kelly were great in doing some badly needed dental work and setting up a maintenance program for me.Both the Nancy’s in the office were very proficient in handling my insurance, payments and appointments. I have been a patient of Dr. Partovi at Plaza Dental for many years and have always appreciated her expertise as a dentist. I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist and have a gagging problem as well, so finding a dentist with her skills, professionlism and gentle chairside demeanor was huge for me! I have been battling bone loss problems for the last six years due to medication I took for breast cancer. During this time Dr. Partovi referred me to specialists in Ventura, who then referred me to UCLA. No one wanted to work on me because of the serious medical complications any surgical dental procedure might cause. I cannot tell you how devastated I was during my last consultation at UCLA when I was advised to come back when my teeth were infected and ready to fall out. At that point, they would work on my teeth in Hospital Dentistry and hope for the best. It was Dr. Partovi and her staff who figured out a non-surgical treatment plan for me. I’s been a long journey but so worth it! Today, I have a beautiful smile and it doesn’t hurt to chew. I owe it all to Dr. Partovi and her wonderful staff! I’ve been there so often this year that I feel I’m part of the Plaza Dental family….I love them all!

I had experienced a severe grinding of my teeth. My teeth looked like jack o lantern for Halloween. My teeth made It uncomfortable to meet or talk to individuals on a face to face basis. I would cover my mouth when I smiled or when I talked. Further I was extremely fearful of the dentist ofc. The staff at Plaza Dental ofc were extremely amazing, ucompassionate as well as empathetic, and they are so,”I will bend over for you.” And so concerned about being comfortable about my dental visits. Not to mention will work with u financially. I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Plaza Dental. Even though I live in another city I will keep Plaza Dental group. Because of their flexibilty they set me up with a product called Snap On Smiles which gave me an immense sense of confidence and the willingness to meet others and most important Smiling without covering my Mouth. Never thought I would be giving a dentist office such a review!! Dr. Partovi and her office are fantastic. I had a broken molar and called them as a new patient. They got me in within 2 hours, of my call. She looked over it and gave me a couple of options, as I am leaving for Europe in a couple of weeks. Decided best option was a crown. She does the 2 hour crown, CEREC. and I went in next day. Within 2 hours I was done and out the door, teeth cleaned as well. She said if I have any nerve damage from this and even off hours to call and she will do an emergency root canal for me, The office called the morning of my appointment, to tell me she was running late and in place of sitting in the lobby waiting as most Dr. offices have you do, I could work and show up at the new time and get right in. I have not liked dentists very much at all and she and her office made this a really good experience. She even called today to see how I was doing. What a great Dentist. Telling friends about this. What a great find I made and very happy!

We had a emergency (tooth ache). Through a coworker I got a referral to Plaza Dental Group. We were greeted by Nancy who was soooo great about understanding the process and dealing with our insurance. Nancy is the best dental associate I ever dealt with. I’m 76 years old so I have dealt with many. Dr Partobi was also great – very skilled and informative. I highly recommend this dental office.

The office staff and Dr. Parvoti is STELLAR! Pairing Hygienist Grace with Dr P was the best experience I have had in years! I had to change dentists recently because I no longer have dental insurance and my regular dentist out of pocket raised his costs. Dr Parvoti and her staff not only worked with me to make payment arrangements, but also were honest about what was going on with my gums. I usually don’t have issues but had slight gum recession. Grace called out legitimate “gum pocket numbers” (i think that’s the routine name) and fixed my issue right there in the same appt avoiding an additional trip. ***They also suggested AND gave me a small piece of sugar free chewing gum to rest in my mouth during xrays. I tend to gag on bite wing pads but i had ZERO gagging. I was never so comfortable in my life with xrays! 🙂 It was the best experience. Even though I traveled further to go there, I will return AND refer family and friends. Thank you Dr Parvoti for your smarts and kind, well educated staff! One important additon to this review.
