I have been looking since I moved here 4 years ago to find a good dentist.  I was so discouraged I begged God to help me.  the next day I saw how Pleasant Family Dentist was voted the best, so I gave it a try. I had my first appointment today and I feel this is the one for me. I was very impressed with how professional they all are. how kind and they are all pleasant.  looking forward to my follow up appointments.  I have had some bad experiences with dentists in West Ashley.

Complicated procedure that went incredibly well. Dr. Jackowski is perhaps the most articulate dentist I’ve ever been treated by; however, he’s really teaching as he talks about what he’s doing. I found that I learned about what he was doing, how I can actively impact my dental future, and what it means. Highest recommendation.

I came in with a toothache and within a week and half they performed a root canal. The staff was friendly and warm. The most helpful and amazing thing for me was the option of the in office payment as I currently do not have an active dental insurance plan. I was in sooo much pain and because they are letting me do a payment plan I was able to get the root canal done by putting a down payment and making payments for a couple of months. Thank-you sooooo much!!!!

I need a crown fixed and called PFD for a possible appointment. I was astonished when the receptionists told me they could see me later that evening. Wow talk about making it convenient. I never had a dentist whose office did evening appointments. I went in and after some initial checks had my crown fixed in no time at all. My insurance covered some and my copay was very reasonable. What a deal! The staff was very nice and the Dentist was awesome! I was relieved to know I had found our new Dentist office! Looking forward to my next visit.

Wife had dental emergency and we had just moved here. They saw her immediately and repaired the emergency. They were so responsive and professional, we made them our primary dentist. Since that first day, we’ve been back and had cleaning, x-rays and a filing replaced. Nearly painless, very accommodating and quite friendly.

I have never EVER experienced such an incredible dentist office. My mom had an appointment and raved about how efficient and incredible every single person in the office was, but I didn’t really believe her until I had my own appointment. I used to never look forward to going to the dentist, but now when I have an appointment, I’m so psyched for the best experience ever! They have blankets if you get too cold, water and coffee in the waiting room, and I’ve had the best conversations with all of the staff. Definitely the best dentist around!!

Pleasant Family Dentistry has put people first. They are working in conjunction with some other organizations to promote oral hygiene. They are calling it “Free Smiles”. Each customer (up to the first 100) are allowed to choose from a free cleaning, free filling, or free extraction. The staff has been very courteous and attentive. The facilities are very clean and waiting room comfortable. They accept most insurances. If you are in need of a dentist, I would recommend calling to setup an appointment. I’ve been going to Pleasant Family Dentistry since moving to here over 5 years ago and have no regrets! Melissa is an awesome hygienist–she makes an effort to be gentle and accommodating during the cleaning and is always super friendly and seems to be in a great mood, even at the end of the day. I highly recommend!

While visiting family here in SC, I started to have a problem with a crown. I was able to make an appointment to be seen right away, a big plus. Also, the office staff were true to the name of the practice – Pleasant all the way around, and they showed genuine concern for my comfort and well-being. Thank you so much. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist.

Courtney was the best!! I was real nervous about going to the dentist and she made my experience pain free and relaxing. She answered all my questions and did not make me feel rushed to get to her next patient. I had a bad experience with my previous dentist and I will definitely be going back to Pleasant Family Dentistry.

A dentist office that is actually fun to go to and you dont wanna leave because the staff goes above the standard to care for their patients. Everyone is so nice and the environment is friendly. I recommend this dentist to EVERYONE, especially if you are terrified of them. They make it exciting to get your teeth checked out.

Recently had a root canal at Pleasant Family Dentistry. I was dreading the experience as I’ve had them before and was bracing for some uncomfortableness. Dr. Sarner changed my opinion, though. Not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and extremely personable and kind, his skills were top notch. I did not feel anything…from the time he numbed the area until I walked out the door and beyond (no pain). Wonderful addition to the practice. Also, a big shout out to Dr. Jackowski for his professionalism, humor, and excellent skills EVERY time! Thank you!
