Hello, I can’t say enough praise for Dr. Trupti Desai, her staff, and her assistant Joe. I went there today due to bridge pain and Dr. Desai took such great care in explaining what needed to be done and also to make sure I was comfortable. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work but i have to say that I never feel uneasy coming to Polished and being a patient of Dr. Desai. That means so much to me and I so glad she is my dentist. I highly recommend Dr Desai and Polished!

I’m a big fan of Dr Desai and her wonderful team, including Jo and Letty, as well as fellow dentist, Dr Grosse. The whole team is great but those are the ones I remember. If your teeth or gums are sensitive, or if you’re a bigger (more muscular) guy like me, they give you as much novocaine as you need. They have always been great. I’ve recco’d people who are also very happy here.

I came in for a checkup and saw Dr. Desai. She was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions. She went through my treatment plan and patiently addressed my concerns. The staff (front desk and assistants) were very friendly and accommodating to my schedule. They addressed all of my insurance/payment plan concerns. I will be starting treatment next week and will provide an update once I get the necessary work done.

My son was injured while playing basketball during lunch at school. They took immediate care of him that day and, again, three days later when he’d noticed discoloration as a result of that injured tooth dying. The most impressive thing about their tending to his second visit? It was on Thanksgiving Day. What other doctors office does THAT? None that I know of. They were FANTASTIC and ATTENTIVE. BEST CARE ANYWHERE

Who else can make two root canals and crowns look effortless !?….Dr. Desai you’re hands down the best Dentist I’ve ever had. You already know I love your work ethic and the staff rocks. 5 star rating from a 5 star patient guaranteed. I would not go to any other dentist, even if my teeth fall out. She’s very attentive and works diligently. She has no problem handling more than one patient and makes you feel welcome. Anyone leaving poor reviews needs to reevaluate themselves and check their ego. It’s not the dentist’s fault that you have issues within your mouth…. They’re trying to help! lol Dr. Desai YOU’RE THEE BEST DENTIST IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!! I’M REFERRING EVERYONE I KNOW. ITS EVEN ON MY FACEBOOK LOL

I was very happy when I decided to get my 4-year-old’s teeth cleaned here. I know they are not a pediatric specific dentist office, but I just wanted a casual and quick cleaning to make sure we are on the right path for his teeth. We have gone to Dr. Desai for our own needs and thought it would be great for him to see her as well. She made the entire experience casual, easy and fun for him. He took a bathroom break mid cleaning and told me in the bathroom “mommy, now I like the dentist!” Between letting him see all the equipment, wear sunglasses and gloves and choose what tools cleaned his teeth, it was an easy appointment without all the bells and whistles of other pediatric dentist offices. I already set up my own appointment on the way out the door. I definitely recommend if you like casual, relaxed and personal experiences for a dental visit.

We have followed Dr. Desai from practice to practice until she opened up her own location in Lakeview. She is incredibly professional, respected and friendly – someone we have trusted to call on for any dental issues or just minor cleanings. The studio space is gorgeous and always well kept and for being on Belmont Parking has never been an issue. Highly recommended!

Had the pleasure of interacting with all of the doctors at Polished. Dr. Desai pulled four teeth about 2 years ago to prepare me for my braces. Never had teeth pulled and was pretty nervous, but she and her assistant made the experience as pleasant as it possibly could have been. Dr. Grosse is just as knowledgeable and friendly. I also had braces put on by Dr Wiseman. He explained everything beforehand and during the whole process (2 years a 2 months) very thoroughly. Extremely patient, especially when I didn’t wear my rubber bands as instructed (why it took a little longer than it should have). Before the braces, I could fit almost both of my thumbs in between my top and bottom teeth when I bit down. Now, there’s hardly any space except for a slight overbite that’s caused by my top jaw being a little bit larger than my bottom jaw. The profile of my face has been completely transformed (in the best way possible) and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend this office-from the front desk receptionists all the way back to the doctors. Everyone is absolutely wonderful and will do their best to make sure you are completely satisfied.

I’m terrified of dentist! Seriously … TERRIFIED! Dark, Frankenstein-like offices, with mad scientist waving a barrage of scary devises at you. All of this, of course, after you’ve been securely strapped onto a “reclining table,” which at best, resembles a padded iron maiden … no, not the band … and all of this horror, and from a distance, you bare the sounds of “drilling”, “grinding” and the screams of other poor souls as they waft into your cell. But recently the dark clouds parted, the sun shinned through, and the heavenly gates opened, as I was introduced to, “Polished, A Dental Studio,” and the angelic, Dr. Trupti Desai. Because of an extended stay outside of the United States … and other less glamorous and nefarious events … my teeth were in serious need of examination and detailed attention, and Lo and Behold, I was fortunate enough to be directed to Polished, and I could not be any more thrilled nor fortunate. Dr. Desai, along with her wonderful team, were supportive, informative, thoroughly professional and gracious. And after a few visits … well, let’s just say a, “few” … my teeth, gums, and associated soft tissues, are not only pretty to look at, but I can chew gum, aggressively rip meat from a bone with my teeth, drink liquids without soiling my shirt, and whistle again. From the warm and genuinely congenial receptionist greeting, through my consultations, recommendations … not to mention the very catchy and toe-tapping tunes playing in the background during each visit … I’m now the owner of a beautiful and healthy smile and healthy orifice, and truly cannot recommend Polished, A Dental Studio highly enough. If you’re seriously looking for a dental office to call home, which is accommodating, personal and professional, with smiles galore, then make your appointment today to visit Polished, ask for Dr. Desai … tell her “Dr. Squeamish” sent you … and consider yourself fortunate to have found the best oral care services provider in the Chicago-land area. Voila!

I had gone most of my adult life without visiting a dentist, and probably would have continued not going had I not gone thru the pain of a severe toothache. With that being said, I needed to have a lot of work done. I visited several dental offices for treatment plans, found out that work was gonna cost me close to $7k fml….The dentist I decided to proceed with had me apply for financing and I got approved thru Lending Club for their true no interest plan. The dental office wanted me to pay off that balance in 18mos but Lending Club offers up to 24mos to pay but the office didn’t want to extend it that long. We had gon back and forth for a few weeks before I decided to move on and get my work done elsewhere. Found Polished online, made an appointment. Got my treatment plan and financing stuff taken care of seamlessly. Letty was awesome in handling my financing, very knowledgeable, very thorough, just an all around welcoming personality (I might have a slight crush on her, hope that’s not creepy haha). Anyway, Dr. Desai and her dental assistant Jo were great as well! They were both professional and personable at the same time, just overall cool individuals. I’m pretty sure I was annoying them by being a big baby in the dental chair, but every time I expressed any discomfort they did everything in their power to make it easier for me. I pretty much got an entirely new mouth, 2 root canals, 9 fillings, 5 crowns and a deep cleaning (the price you pay for not taking care of yourself), and they got me done with minimum pain. It’s one thing to go into a business as a patron, get services, pay for services, and then leave…Its another to be made to feel like you’re home with genuine people that care for you. They have the latter going for them. I never really write reviews but this time I had to. Great job ladies!!!

I am feeling so grateful to have found such a great dentist in Dr. Desai. I needed some serious work done right before my brother’s wedding, and she fit me in to improve my smile right away. I had put off going to the dentist way too long due to some embarrassment about my poor eating habits, but I didn’t feel judged in any way. She and her staff put me at ease during all of the work, and I even got to listen to some great music and watch “Finding Nemo” during some of it. We are still in the process of working on all of my dental issues, and she has even answered the phone to reassure me at a time when the office was closed (which is rare because they are open 7 days a week!). The office is nice and in a great location. They were willing to work with me as far as finances go too. I look forward to going in now because I always look and feel better when I leave!

This practice is terrific ~ I am almost 70 years old and in my entire life I’ve never found a practice more considerate, knowledgeable or capable then the lead doctor and everyone who works with her. I feel very strongly about how good this place is. They are competent, considerate, and very straightforward. I am not one to write reviews about everything and my experience with this dentistry practice has been outstanding for several years now. I recommend them to others unequivocally and without hesitation.

I was nearly a year late for my 6 month check up. My family and I usually see Dr. Desai but she was unavailable for the day that my entire family could come in. So we opted to see Dr. Grosse & we had no regrets! She was great. I was sure a deep cleaning and a bunch of fillings were going to be my treatment since I was overdue but I was wrong; no deep cleaning and only one small fill needed. Dr. Grosse was honest with me and didn’t try to just try sell me on the things that I thought I needed. Also, i asked last minute if she could do a quick exam on my 1.5yr old and she totally accommodated us. Much appreciated and would see her again.

My review of Polished is quite simply the best experience I’ve had at any dentist’s office. Assistant’s at the front desk are kind, friendly, & helpful. Dentist’s & assistants are knowledgeable and empathic to the full spectrum of the difficulties as a patient. Whether it be dental questions, physical pain or even budget. I would recommend polished for anyone who needs to see the better side of the industry. You will not regret making an appointment at Polished. My family & I have already setup return appointments.

I wasn’t an avid dentist-goer, until Dr. Desai, DDS, moved in next to my office. She convinced me it’d be a good idea to get a check-up. Ever since, I see her like clockwork. My teeth remain healthy, white and clean. I enjoy going to her office, as all the employees are always so lovely and accommodating. The new hygienist is wonderful, too!! VERY agile! Dr. Desai even made my first 2 [tiny] cavities (at THIRTY TWO) seem like something I will be able to get through. I always suggest Polished as my go-to dentist, and will do so in this post

I’ve been going here for a few years, but felt compelled to write a review recently. I hated to be “that guy” who takes a newborn in a car seat to his appointment, but had no other viable options that specific morning. Dr Desai, the hygienists, and front desk folks could not have been more helpful and understanding. They made what should have been a stressful situation into one that was cozy and comfortable. As I was having my new crown placed, they comforted my daughter when she fussed. I wanted to give them hugs on my way out. That was just one visit, but indicative of the kind of experience I’m used to at the office. Their professionalism is second to none. I also like that they all have a sense of humor. It makes the appointments go by a little quicker.

Dr. Desai is amazing. She tells it like it is and helped get my very sensitive teeth in a much better place and feeling a ton better. Also, I’m not sure why anyone would say they don’t have good customer service. I feel like the team is super friendly and accommodating even when I call last minute to cancel/move appointments because life gets busy.

I am not your average dental patient; I haven’t been to a dentist in 11 years! When Dr. Desai’s office opened next to ours, I decided it was a sign I needed to get in. I was VERY hesitant, but the price was right and I was in. Unfortunately, the doctor found I have Pariodontal Disease (she explained the disease in terms I could understand and in a way that helped me see the severity, as well as the fact that everything would be ok) and wouldn’t be able to get a regular cleaning; I would need a deep cleaning, which involves numbing your mouth. I decided to bite the bullet (despite my intense fear of shots and never having a cavity, i.e. never getting a shot in my mouth)! I went in for my cleaning and was very, VERY nervous! The lovely office aide HELD MY HAND for the shots!!!! I was ASTONISHED! They were so understanding of my anxiety and so gentle with me. The massage chair was a VERY nice touch, as well. They plugged my phone into a charger and let me listen to their headphones, while I got the cleaning. It was pretty uncomfortable for me, but it was mostly in my head. I’ve learned a few things through this experience: Dr. Desai is my new go-to dentist and I will be returning as often as necessary, to keep up with my dental health!! I VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR!

I’ve always been very hesitant to visit the dentist because of previous bad experiences, but time finally caught up to me & it was time for another dental visit. I chose Dr. Desai & haven’t regretted my decision at all! Dr. Desai & her staff have made my experience pleasant, addressing those previous bad experiences in addition to addressing my dental needs. Dr. Desai & her staff are very knowledgeable & took the time to explain in detail all the procedures needed for my dental health. I would definitely recommend to my family & friends looking for a dentist to seek the services of Polished!

All the staff are very friendly and I haven’t been inside my own mouth lately, but I am certain she is doing great work on my teeth. They all have great attitudes and senses of humor (now if they would put a flat screen on the ceiling, I’d give them an 11 rating (a la Spinal Tap) Next up, implant for a tooth I had pulled almost 3 years ago while I was living in Las Vegas. I am glad I found this office thru Blue Cross Blue Shield.

They say the third times a charm….. After years of dental neglect, my mouth blew up on me this summer and I needed a lot of work done, like 7k worth. I visited two different dental offices before finding Polished and had already been approved thru Lending Club for financing, the trouble was the other offices wanted me to pay my loan off in 12/mos, I needed 24. Right off the bat Letty was incredible in understanding my financial situation and seamlessly got everything taken care of within minutes of me being there (while I had gone back and forth with the other offices for weeks). Dr. Desai came up with a treatment plan and we got started asap. She and her dental assistant Jo we great. They both had personality and a realness about them that made sitting in a chair getting your teeth drilled as pleasureable as sitting in a chair and getting teeth drilled can be. I’m normally not that kinky but I was into it lol jk. But in all seriousness they do incredible work. Not only will they get your smile on point, they are also genuine people. They have a family vibe. They’ve totally won me over.

Dr. Desai has been a blessing for me. I cannot recommend her more highly. She is conservative, not trigger happy (does not want to do unnecessary procedures), takes a cautious approach and is extremely available. I find that she is willing to talk with me, not down to me, and to explain her thinking about dental matters and she listens to what it is that is being said. I am very satisfied with her professionalism and skills. After having had some very bad experiences with other dentists, I plan on staying with her for years to come. That’s my story – she is terrific.
