I had a fantastic first visit with Dr Pope! He was able to replace a crown for me in 1 visit! The new crown was made right there in the office and I am very happy with it! Dr. Pope is very friendly and very gentle! His assistant and the entire office staff was very helpful and welcoming! Don’t hesitate to make an appointment!

Dr. Pope and his staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate, and take their time to make each patient feel comfortable and valued. They use the best, up to date technology in their examinations and treatment. This practice has provided the best dental experience I have ever had.

I first saw Dr. Pope while in Greensboro for an extended time during the pandemic. I came in for an evaluation and advice on a recent failed root canal from a negligent dentist in NY state. I was so impressed with Dr. Pope’s etiquette, his philosophy, pursuit of continued education and cutting edge technology, cleanliness and comfort of space, as well as the staff and practice as a whole, that I am now traveling from upstate NY (a 10 hour drive) to accomplish the work that I need (2 implants, crowns & a few cavities). One of his assistants, Shanda, has gone above and beyond to help me feel like I have a personal guide with follow up care and maintenance. I have been to a handful of dentists in the NYC and Hudson Valley area to compare with my experience with Pope Dentistry for implants and routine care, and have found this practice to exceed expectations in all facets of care – they truly feel, and make me feel, a part of a “family” in practice. I’m glad I trusted this local recommendation. The piece of mind that comes with knowing my dentist is doing what is best for me is invaluable.

Dr Pope, Family Dentistry I usually don’t give a ***** ✨ review. This was my first visit to you all’s office. The experience that I had and the office was excellent. Dr Pope explain the procedure very well what will and will not happen. Tammy my caregiver was very pleasant there was no question that I asked her that wasn’t clear after her explanation. Her aura was very pleasant the atmosphere in the office was pleasant. This was my first visit I would recommend that Dr Pope family dentistry be your dentist. My husband is literally phobic on dentist l. Going here was an extremely positive experience and step for him personally. Dr Pope a fantastic and kind individual as well as his staff. I would recommend this place to everyone who ever needs dental work and want kindness and understanding to be something they seek in a dentistry practice.

Recently had to change to another dentist as my former dentist retired. I was a little apprehensive about finding a new practice but upon finding Dr. Poole, I’ve hit a home run! Dr. Poole’s assistant Shanda was absolutely great as she walked me through my dental plan. Great practice and would refer to anyone.

I was very pleased with Pope Family Dentistry during my visit. I’m usually nervous about seeing new Doctors but, going to this dentistry was a breath of fresh air! They made me feel so welcomed and reassured and truly listened to my concerns and questions. They are also very personable. Which in my experience is rare… I genuinely feel like 5 stars isn’t enough. They provide phenomenal service and I plan to be with them for a while.

I recently started care at Pope Family Dentistry and am VERY happy with my choice to go to Dr. Pope. I have had a long history of sensitive teeth and thus painful cleanings. However, Dr. Pope designed an amazing numbing gel that completely took away my pain during the cleaning. He also used this gel before the actual anesthetic during my root canal, crown placement, tooth filling and two cavities which helped immensely with the discomfort. I can honestly say going to Pope Family Dentistry has been the BEST (and most comfortable) dental care I have EVER received. Dr. Pope gave me all of his attention, checked on me often, was gentle, and very informative. I have worked with the hygienists Shanda and Blake, both of them were so careful and thoughtful during my visits. They both answered all of my questions and made me feel 100% taken care of. I highly recommend Pope Family Dentistry, Dr. Pope himself, and Shanda and Blake!

The entire staff is extremely nice. Had a crown put on and I was pleased to know that Dr. Pope could do everything in one visit. Shanda was very informative, helpful and made my crown to perfection. My mouth wasn’t even sore the following day. Very happy with the results and a great office for your dental health.

Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Dr. Pope and his staff are all so positive and personable and make me feel comfortable and cared for. My partner and I have both been going here since we moved to Greensboro and we are so happy to have found a dental practice to call our own!

12-7-20, I obtained a ‘crown’ from Dr. Pope. Everything went perfectly and smoothly (even at check out). Both Dr Pope and Shanda made sure I was comfortable and in no pain. During the whole procedure they explained what they were going to do, before proceeding. Shanda had on soothing music, and her soft humming keep my nervousness at bay. The procedure was quick, painless, and a one time procedure. I left with a perfect bite. Before leaving, Dr Pope explained certain things I may feel over the next few days, so I would know if I experienced any of them, it was normal and not to worry. It has been almost 24 hours since my procedure and I still very satisfied. Thank you Dr. Pope and Shanda.

I was made to feel like I was an important patient. Everything was clearly explained-the bill and the steps of the procedure. I loved the fact that my permanent crown was put in during my visit—no temporary crown and then a return for a permanent one. I was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Shanda was in charge of preparing me for the work Dr. Pope did. She made me feel comfortable with what she was doing and what Dr. Pope would be doing. I am so glad I am now a patient at this practice.

I have always had a good experience. The staff is always kind and Dr. Pope shows a real interest in the concern that needs to be handled. I live in Atlanta but, will continue to make appointments here for dental work as I travel to my hometown of Greensboro. It’s worth scheduling with them while traveling. Highly recommend.

This place is awesome! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! I was referred here by a coworker and I’m so glad I went. Having just moved here in September from North Dakota, I was very concerned about finding a new dentist. They made everything so easy. They took care of all the insurance stuff for me so all I had to do was show up! All the new patient forms are online too so you don’t have to waste time doing that in the office if you don’t want to. Appointments are filling up fast (probably because all the other patients love them just as much as I do) so if you need dental work, contact them ASAP!

Dr. Pope and his office staff are amazing. They are very friendly and only do excellent work. My husband and I both had our teeth cleaned by Laura, she made us feel comfortable and loved her smiling personality. I returned for an filling and crown. Tammy was Dr. Pope’s dental assistant and made sure I felt okay at all times. He is lucky to have such an knowledge and kind lady working beside him. They made me feel relaxed and it was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Pope is so nice and understanding of all your dental needs. I highly recommend that you make an appointment for your dental needs. You will be happy that you have found such a great dental office.

This has by far been the most amazing dentist I have ever went to, being highly phobic of dentist I was very scared to get my teeth cleaned, but the staff here are the most friendly and make you feel very welcomed and cared for. Kimberly ,as well as Dr. Pope, were very kind and gentle and explained everything to me. This will definitely be the place I get my teeth worked on in the future.

My first visit today was amazing!! Ms Tammy the dental hygienist was kind, cheerful, soft spoken with a great personality! Dr Pope was extremely personable and seemed very concerned about the well being of my dental health. I really appreciate how thorough he was. He took time to explain everything as he showed me my X-rays and 3D photos on a large screened television. I needed two crowns and I was able to get my permanent crown today!! I didn’t feel rushed nor did I feel like I had spent half of a day in the dentist office!! I must say thank you to my long time friend Leslee Pegg(Reynold Orthodontist) for the referral. I was so pleased with the services I received today and I’m happy to say I’ve found my new dental home with Pope Dentistry!! I believe in honest reviews because I personally make some decisions based on the reviews I read!!

Dr. Pope is the best dentist I’ve personally ever been to. He is kind, caring, and above all listens to my teeth concerns. (See another review from me from a past visit with more on this.) I drive over 2 hours to see him since he moved to Greensboro. It’s well worth it IMO, and my kids see him, as well. Just last week, he saved me over $1300. I decided to try a closer dentist b/c I was having immediate issues. As soon as I left, I called and explained the situation to his staff. Dr. Pope fixed my teeth up perfectly without the 2 dreaded crowns recommended by the former dentist. He really is like an uncle to my kids and a brother to me – so gentle and sweet but at the same time, a very good dentist. He always makes my daughter feel at ease in his office b/c she often winds up needing follow up visits. She doesn’t mind him working on her teeth because he is so understanding and patient and doesn’t scold her for having cavities (even though she brushes/flosses every day).

We are always so pleased every time we see Dr. Pope and his incredible staff! Everyone is so welcoming, honest, and gentle. Our 3 year old son just had his first cleaning and he loved every second of it! They were so gentle and patient with him, while also made his first experience fun and educational. After that visit I moved to him as my primary dentist and it was the best thing I ever did! I’ve had nothing but great experiences with all my dental care since. I moved to Greensboro from the Outer Banks in December of 2020. I’ve had a great relationship with the same dental practice there since 1982. Finding a new dentist was a little unnerving. Luckily I found Pope Family Dentistry. Danielle is a wonderful hygienist, so gentle and thorough. I needed a crown on a molar soon after my initial cleaning and check up. Melinda got me right in. Shonda was very personable and wonderfully efficient. Dr. Pope and Shonda worked together to make the process very fast and completely painless. I feel so lucky to be in the care of such a capable team!
