Dr. Bell has saved my teeth and contributed to a new found health. I have put off going to the dentist for a very long time (8 years) due to a terrible dental phobia. During my first visit, Dr. Bell sat down with me and talked to me for nearly an hour calming my fears and walking me through the steps needed to increase my oral health. I trusted her and she made a plan that I was able to stick to, both financially and mentally. I’m now cavity-free!!! Please allow Dr. Bell to treat you, she has the spirit of an angel!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bell’s for many years. The entire staff have always been diligent & informative, taking special care in explaining your oral hygiene & the importance of staying on top of it. It’s always a pleasant experience.

My name is Rachael Hartfield, google won’t let me change it, but anyway, I had the BEST experience at Dr. Bell’s office. My initial visit, I was seen along with my 1 year old son. Office staff were upbeat and friendly. They made me and my son feel very comfortable. During my initial visit Dr. Bell and staff did a very thorough exam and explained everything they were looking for and everything they found. We came up with a game plan that made me excited to start being intentional about my oral health. My second visit was a deep cleaning with the dental hygienist. She was amazing as well. She explained everything she was going to do, what tools she was going to use and explained in detail everything I needed to do to get where I needed to be by my next visit. I had another great experience, leaving excited to keep up with the work I had already been doing at home since my first visit. I also left with my mouth feeling cleaner than it ever had before. I’m looking forward to my follow up visit.

For the first time in my life, I can honestly say that I’ve had wonderful experiences at a dentist office. Yes, at the dentist. Due to bad dental experiences in my past, I was nervous to find a new dental practice. While at this year’s African American Wellness Walk, I was given a flyer to visit Dr. Portia Bell’s dental practice off of Agler and Cassidy. I kept the flyer for 3 months before calling! From my first phone call, I was met with professionals that answered my questions right away. During my first consultation, I felt heard and left believing that Dr. Bell and her dental assistant genuinely wanted to help me to improve my dental health. I felt supported not judged! I still feel the same way after my fourth visit. I was encouraged to ask all questions and was immediately given realistic answers. If you are interested in improving your dental health, you should call Dr. Bell’s office right away. All staff members will support you in your dental health journey!

I had the absolute BEST experience! The office is very clean and welcoming. The staff is very observant, knowledgeable and beyond kind. I felt so empowered walking into a Black Female Practice. I was a bit anxious during my visit but Dr. Bell and the entire staff made me feel at ease and cared for. I never had an examine like the one I received with Dr. Bell. This practice truly cares for their patients and their oral care. I almost forgot I was in a dentist office because how wonderful the entire staff are. I’ve already scheduled my next appointments and I’m glad I found this dentist. Well worth the drive from Dayton and money. I’m not going anywhere else as long as Dr. Portia J. Bell is practicing.

Dr. Portia J.Bell and staff were absolutely knowledgeable, caring, and intentional with care. My experience was amazing. The Dr. and staff saw myself and my daughter. As a parent, I would highly recommend Dr. Bell. My daughter felt comfortable and excited. Each procedure was explained to both of us in detail and easy to understand. Anyone who is fearful of the dentist should visit this office because the fear is calmed by the amount of positive reinforcement and vital information. Everyone was very kind from the time we walked in. I am so delighted to have found this positive and devoted space. Thank you all!

They really do care about their patients , they’re professional and informative. I haven’t had a good dentist experience in I don’t know when , but Dr Bells office will be dentist from here on out. The Queens in that office ROCK !!

What a wonderful 1st time experience. Staff was very knowledgeable & professional. And getting the complete breakdown from Dr. Bell was truly informative and appreciated. I’d highly recommend this office to attend to anyone dental needs! I’ve just became a patient without any doubt, In or Out of Network, I value my health more than anything…….5 Stars in my book. Dr. Bell is concern about not only your oral health, she is concerned about your whole well being. For example, she takes your blood pressure, screens for oral cancer and shows you how oral health is part of your whole health picture. Excellent comprehension service by her and her staff!
