We’ve had such a great experience here over the last 4 years. My husband and I both had our teeth taken care of by the Portsmouth team. Not only did they always do a great job but everyone is so nice and helpful. We are sad to leave but we just aren’t traveling into Portland anymore for work and we live 45 minutes away. Thanks Portsmouth Dental team for everything! We hope our new dentist is as awesome as you are!

If you need dental care, braces or anything like this; you need to make an appointment here. All of the staff is amazing. I appreciate that the assistants are trained with all the procedures. The care and attention they give you is very positive and thorough. It’s not just a scheme to charge you but to actually give you “care”; as it should be, in house orthodontist so you can be treated by the same staff; pleasant all the way around. Yes, this surprises me that I am recommending a Dentist office, but I am.

Portsmouth Dental does a fantastic job. I started going there around 1982, particularly because they advertised “gentle dental”. When I started going there I required quite a bit of work because I had avoided dentists due to unpleasant experiences. Dr. Frohnmayer did some wisdom teeth extractions, fillings and crowns. When Dr. Turk came on he did more work including a root canal. All of these experiences were remarkably easy and quick. These guys know what they are doing. They have great ability to keep you relaxed with light, and humorus conversation while they work. After they got me into shape, I only required cleanings for well over ten years. Just recently, probably due to some negligence on my part, I needed a couple of fillings. Dr. Turk noticed a typo on the original quote, which reduced the billed charges by $355. I would have been none the wiser. I recommend this Dental group highly. My only hesitation is, that they will get so many customers that I will have a hard time getting an appointment!

I’m a big baby when it comes to needles. (No seriously, I both my children naturally to avoid the epidural needle.) Michelle was so understanding and made sure I had what I needed to feel less ashamed of my fears. The practice as a whole is very professional, makes things convenient both interms of setting appointments and making payments. Highly recommend.

By far the best dental care in Portland! Dr Turk has been my dentist almost my entire life. He’s like a dad to me. I always feel at home when I walk through the door. All of the staff is friendly and treat me like family. In fact, my entire family goes to Portsmouth Dental. The office is very clean and has beautiful art. I couldn’t recommend them more! Thanks for taking such great care of me over the years!

This is by far the best dental office I’ve ever been toothey take great care of you and are well worth my drive in from Vancouver just over the bridge in north portland. Dr. Turk treats you like a friend and not just like a patient. I’ve been going here for a decade and feel lucky to have found such a great place.

I have been to many dentist offices in the last few years which I have not been happy with. I was able to finally get my braces, I decided to just try out portsmouth dental because they do evening and saturdays. I went in for my consult and found out I had a ton of cavities..they helped work with me to get these done quickly so I was able to get my braces on. Going to the dentist for me is the worst but Portsmouth made it seem more pleasant than most other offices. I am very happy with my care from them, very friendly staff and doctors. They were always able to get me in quick when there was an emergency or when I was in pain. Not to mention they do not only do regular dental care, but also teeth whitening, braces, wisdom teeth removals. Its nice to have a dentist office that I can trust now. I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Today was my very first visit and I was super pleased! I have high anxiety with dentist, but I was okay..they made me feel calm, cool and at ease. Everyone was so kind and caring. They gave me a complete run down of what I needed, the cost and offered financial resources to assist if needed. They were very cautious with safety regarding Covid 19, but still was welcoming and warm. I have found my dentist and referring my daughter! Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

This is absolutely the best dentist! Dr. Turk and his team take care of their patients and truly care about their well being. The assistants are caring and knowledgeable as well. I have been a patient here for several years and my care has never been anything less than stellar. They always find a way to get my seen when needed even if they are super busy. The prices are reasonable and the front desk staff is very kind. If you need a dentist don’t look any further.

I cannot say enough positive things about Portsmouth Dental Care and specifically Dr. Turk. I have a military background, which means I have a lot of bad dental work that has been haunting me since I left service. In the few years I have lived in this area and have been seeing Dr. Turk, I have had multiple crowns, root canals, re-seated crowns, chipped teeth, and more.They have always tried to get me in at the earliest possible time, done everything possible to make sure I was comfortable and worked with me to find the best solution to help me keep my teeth functioning and attractive, even when money has been tight. The kindness, concern, and consideration is above and beyond all other providers I have ever seen. If you need a good dentist, I encourage you to seek out Dr. Turk. I know a review that is nothing but good things seems suspicious, but I really can’t say anything bad…maybe the room is small? But that is about it. The staff and care received are stellar. The prices are better than any you will find from a reputable dentist, and they work with most insurance providers.

Best experience I have ever had at a dental office. Professional, clean environment  let me pay my bill in two payments instead of one. Much better and more hands on than general dental or generic dental office.  Other dental office told me I needed wisdom teeth pulled even though they never once bothered me, Dr Turk took X-rays and let me know they did not need to be taken out. Saved me a load of money buy not recommending a procedure I did not need. I would not go anywhere else.

I don’t know how anybody could ever give this office a poor review. I think they are amazing!!! By far the best doctors and staff out there! I have been seen by both doctors and both of them have always made me feel extremely comfortable and have done absolutely beautiful work. I now actually like going to the dentist. Their staff has always been warm and friendly. Not to mention it seems like my insurance is changing on me at least once a year and they have always taken it. I now live across town but will always drive any distance to still come to them! Highly recommended!!!

Zeynep’s (3yo) first Dental visit was a hit!! She woke me up, very excited, dressed as a Dr for her doctor visit! She has grown up in this office as I started my ortho journey when she was learning to sit up. Everyone in the office loves to play with her and she feels right at home. This is not a pediatric dental office but it IS the best office Ive ever been to!! They are the best with kids, families, they have a therapy dog on Fridays that will sit on your lap during procedures. They are my favorite people!! Thank you Portsmouth Dental!!

Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! One of the most caring and well facilitated DENTAL offices I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. Being in the DENTAL feild for 14 years, I can honestly say this DENTAL office hands down is as place I would recommend to my family friends and all others looking to be well cared for and welcomed. Honesty and compassion is pouring from this place.

How often does somebody have something good to say about their dentist? Before today, you never would’ve heard praises being sung by me but as a new patient of Portsmouth Dental I’m confident this will be the team I look to for good dental health for years to come. When good people mix with cutting edge technology good things are bound to happen and this is a great example of it. I learned more about my teeth today than the previous 30+ years I’ve been going to the dentist. I felt that my comfort and satisfaction was their top priority and I’m confident they’ll serve you the same way. I look forward to no longer dreading dental appointments because of the confidence I have in my new dentist.
