I can’t describe the anxiety I feel going to the dentist. It was so bad that the previous dentist scheduled me a hospital visit for a surgical extraction so I can be put to sleep. Scary. As I retired RN, I must tell you that I am very impressed with Dr. Jean. He extracted my tooth yesterday, I had no pain during the procedure, it was over in an hour, and I woke up today with no pain, bruising or swelling at all! He is a very gentle and caring Dentist. He listens to his patient’s concerns and explains everything in detail. This was my first procedure with him and he’ll be my dentist for years to come! Also, this office is the cleanest I have ever seen, it’s absolutely spotless and his staff are lovely girls. I was also able to get an appointment in a timely fashion, which is a big plus. Great experience! Dr. Hughes Jean was amazing. I had gone there because I was in pain and had an infection in my front tooth. He was very knowledgeable and showed great expertise. His gentle manner and comforting ways allowed me to be more at ease. He went above and beyond when I had a slight reaction to the numbing process, and I had told him I hadn’t eaten a thing before I got there. What impressed me most was his compassion. He proceeded to go out of his way! Before I knew it, he showed up with a protein shake for me. He pulled my tooth, and I have to say I didn’t have any pain after that. I didn’t even need to take any type of pain reliever. The staff were very friendly and helpful They also cared about my well being, checking in on me. I am immensely impressed with this office. I highly recommend anyone who is afraid of dentists especially, give Dr. Hughes Jean a try. Not only professional, but a really decent and nice person!!

Both of my children have been patients of Dr. Jean. We have been there multiple times for there cleanings and procedures. Every time we went the staff was welcoming and professional. My children(teenagers) were both very comfortable with him and even said, He’s really awesome!” I had to go in for a check-up 8/6/2020 and this was my first time in his chair. I was extremely impressed with how the whole experience was. Especially during Covid. Temp check as soon as you walk in, sanitizer right inside the door. He spoke to me longer then most dentists I have seen. Very pleased with the service I received and I am looking forward to my return visit. I became a first time patient at the office a few weeks ago and I truly felt like part of the family. Everyone is so polite and welcoming. Dr. Jean and his team make sure their patients are comfortable with everything they do, as they walk through each step no matter if you don’t like the dentist or not… I got a normal cleaning and fixed my front tooth that has been slightly chipped for years. The best dental visit I’ve ever had. They were super professional, warm, welcoming and helpful. They broke down everything they were going to do step by step, explained to me other things that he wanted to do but that my insurance didn’t cover, he explained to me why he wanted to the extra procedures and gave me a break down in cost and asked if those procedures were ok for my budget at this time. I’ve never had a dentist ask or be concerned about my budget. I appreciated the transparency and that they didn’t try to pressure me into more than I came for or more than I could afford. Our friend is an adult who recently received DentaQuest insurance thru FL Medicaid. This was her first visit with Dr. Jean. LeAnn went out of her way to get her a same-day appointment, tackle all of the insurance forms & break everything down so she could understand. Dr. Jean was more than thorough in his examination, made her feel as if she were the only patient for the entire day, explained everything in her terms, gently took care of every problem, and made her thrilled she now has dental insurance, as an adult, and a fabulous Dental team to take care of the several serious issues that she has. She will be receiving deep cleaning and several other procedures and she is doing so without any reservation or fear of pain or the unknown. When you’ve gone without dental insurance for such a long time and then you finally have it, you want a reliable team to take care of you and that’s what she finds w/ Dr. Jean, Mara (his asst) & LeAnn. Coconut Creek, Deerfield residents should go nowhere else. They are open early in the morning and on Saturday. They take a variety of insurance and the many adults who are on Medicaid that have not had dental insurance, now do and they are more than happy to accept it. It’s easy to complain about a business but it’s more pleasurable to go out of your way to say something nice, so I’m typing this for Em, Dr. Jean’s new, happy patient, who is dictating it. Like me, you may have been hesitant to see your dentist during this pandemic, however, I can assure you that you will be taken care of with the utmost of cleanliness, sanitation, and Care. I have been shut in my home since February 27th and last week I ventured out to the dentist to get a cleaning and to have one tooth fixed. I had every expectation to be taken care of in the most medicinal of ways and I was not disappointed. The dental hygienist is the best I’ve ever had treat me and I put my teeth and gums and her hands!!! Dr. Jean is the most genuine, personable dentist I have ever met. I have a long history of failed efforts to correct my dental issues. From putting myself last as a single Mom, to postponing my dental work to pay for my doctorate tuition. I have started so many times and was always interrupted by some chaos or another. In contrast others have not been as transparent about my dental work so another reason for my issues was losing trust in most dentists. I love the way they explain the steps, the procedures and the prices. They explain every single detail with words that patient can understand. Dr Jean is really attentive what make me feel calm. I work in PBG and got terribly stuck in traffic on my way to my first appointment with them and the staff was amazing and still saw me and made me feel welcome to be there! The staff at Prime Dentistry deserves praise! They were extremely considerate, and comforting to my nine year old daughter who had just broken her baby moler tooth and needed to have it extracted. They offered me the best assistance in their dental plans since they no longer carried my daughter’s insurance. Dr. Hugues Jean is an excellent dentist. He is the first dentist that throughly checked my teeth for my new patient exam. After x-rays and pictures were taken he sat down and explained everything he saw and the condition of my teeth. Next he explained clearly what the next steps would be to get my oral health and smile where it needs to be. He was very kind and more than happy to answer any questions I had. His dental philosophy is to provide the finest general and cosmetic dentistry services available in a professional, compassionate, and relaxing environment. Dr. Hugues Jean earned his Doctoral Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Tennessee. He continually seeks out additional education opportunities to improve his clinical skills while learning the latest techniques in the field of dentistry. With over 14 years of experience working in dentistry, Dr. Hugues Jean is committed to giving back to the community by providing dental care to underserved communities in the United States and abroad. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association. When he is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and children and watching the Miami Dolphins, one of his favorite sports teams.
