I have been seeing Dr. Tran for years and I couldn’t be happier.  She is the most caring, gentle and genuinely nicest person/dentist I have ever been to.   She is professional yet personable and very accommodating.  I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes to see her.  She gives you an honest answer and is very helpful.   My husband and daughter see her too and they love her like I do.  I can’t say enough good things  about Dr. Tran.  If you are looking for a dentist she’s the best!!!!!

I had a tooth ache and was looking for a new dentist in the area as I recently moved here.  I contacted Dr. Phuong’s office and from the minute I spoke with the front office manager, Maritsa, I was hooked.  Maritsa was caring, knowledgeable and friendly.  I was able to get in that day and was pleasantly surprised at the convenient location.  I was greeted with a smile.  The dental assistant, Jose, took me in and was friendly and put me at ease.  He took x-rays quickly and efficiently.  Dr. Tran, a female, came in with a warm and caring and empathetic personality.  She gave me the options that I had available to me.  Maritsa came in and advised me what the charges were and what my insurance would cover.  I knew exactly what I was going to be charged. Dr. Tran explained everything and showed me my x-rays.   During my two day procedure, Dr. Tran did not hurt me at all.  She was also very attentive in asking me if she was hurting me which made me feel at ease.  I feel that I have found a great dentist that I can trust especially with such a delicate and often frightful situation.  Thank you so much.

I am just shocked!  Dr.Tran is nothing short of  a miracle worker. Painless and fast  she saved another tooth. If you’re like me and you put off going to the dentist for what ever reason, you need to see Dr.Tran she is just awesome. Dr. Tran also has a kind and knowledgeable staff, very personable. My family and I have had two visits with Dr. Tran after she took over the practice of Dr. Lee.  Always hesitant to start with a new dentist, I was more than pleasantly surprised.  She is wonderful and has such a nice manner about her.  My small kids loved her too and told me that she made them feel at ease. The first time my son went in, having never been to her before, he had to have two teeth pulled.  He went back two weeks later without hesitation for a cleaning.  She made a very scary procedure for him into a comfortable one.  We are very impressed and so happy that the whole family can see her.  Maritsa, who runs the front office, is also so warm and welcoming.  She is by far the best dentist I have been to in decades.

The closest you’ll get to actually looking forward to a dentist visit!! I booked a routine cleaning with Dr. Tran based on her Yelp reviews, but was dreaaading it out of fear. I’d avoided the dentist for years and had low-grade anxiety about ever going in, so it was fully out of my comfort zone to put my trust into a new practice. Dr. Tran is the absolute best. The cleaning was a breeze and there was no judgement whatsoever for my poor attendance at the dentist in the past. She made me feel like the few cavities I did have weren’t my fault at all (angel!) and checked in repeatedly to make sure I wasn’t experiencing any pain or discomfort. My appointments for the fillings were the same. She coaches you through what to expect and works quickly to minimize the time you spend in the chair. Dr. Tran really is a doll. She has a distinctive, kindhearted laugh that instantly puts you at ease and she’s just great at what she does, period. She’s the kind of dentist that has you scheduling your appointments six months out without thinking twice, because taking care of your teeth is a no-brainer when your visits go so smoothly.

I’ve gone through numerous dentists, and Dr. Phuong Tran is the best dentist I’ve ever had.  I am 61 years old and had to have 2 crowns and one filling replaced. She explained everything that had to be done and made sure I was comfortable and pain free.  I was done after two short visits, experienced no pain, and my mouth feels wonderful.   It was one of the most professional and friendly visits I have ever experienced.  The office is spotless.  Dr. Tran is gentle, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.  It’s obvious that she trained at one of the best dental schools in the country. Her staff was courteous, competent and efficient.  And, she accepts most insurance.  I highly recommend using Dr. Tran for your whole family.

Dr Tran is a blessing.  She is so sweet and welcoming.  My daughter and I both see her and she has done a wonderful job.  I had to have 3 crowns and she walked me through the process and made me feel perfectly comfortable.  She does wonderful work and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Tran and her A-Team are beyond exceptional to work with. I had not been to a dentist for a few years and like most people, get nervous in general for dental check-ups. The staff at New Leaf made me feel welcome and at ease the moment I walked through the door. Dr. Tran herself is warm, funny, and has a very calm demeanor that instantly allowed me to trust her and the recommendations made by her office. She is very hands on and made sure I knew exactly what was going to be taking place through every step of the procedures I had done. I had quite a bit of dental work done and the entire experience was smooth, efficient and has changed the way I view dentistry. I highly recommend New Leaf to many of my friends and family members and they have all had the same wonderful experience. Excellent service. You will not find a more caring dentist. I’ve been going to Dr Tran’s office for about a year, 3 visits total.  I’ve visited many dentists all over California but never really found one I liked. Dr. Tran is incredibly caring and listens to patients needs. Her receptionist is friendly and provides great service. I can call or email any time and know I’ll get a quick response.

This was my second visit to this office. Dr. Tran was so gentle and I felt no pain and was comfortable during deep cleaning routine. Everyone at the office was warm and so friendly!!! I highly recommend them and you’re gonna love them.

What a great dentist and wonderful human being. Dr. Tran is very professional and has done a wonderful job in fixing all my dental problems. She was spectacularly successful in applying crowns and fillings to my poorly cared-for teeth. Now I have the nice smile and beautiful teeth I had when I was young. Her staff also gets 5 stars for their excellent treatment from teeth cleaning to arranging appointments. Her wonderful personality and sense of humor match her technical expertise and patient care. In all my years I’ve never had a better dentist or a nicer one. She’s definitely an all-star. Let her help you and you won’t regret it.

I can honestly admit I was a person who avoided the dentist at all costs because of poor experiences in the past. I found Dr. Tran after coming to terms with the fact it had been too long and I needed a dental visit. Through the regular check up cleanings and cavity fills Dr. Tran and staff have been AMAZING. I actually commit to getting the six month check ups because she makes it so easy. You can tell she wants to make the visits as comfortable and painless as possible. I have recommended her highly to my friends and would tell anyone looking for a new dentist that she is the go to lady.

I am so glad I switched Encinitas dentists and moved to Dr. Tran’s office.  She is warm and friendly, and doesn’t gouge.  Let me repeat that:  she doesn’t gouge.  I have been to too many other dentists that tried to nickel and dime for everything.  And when you leave Dr. Tran’s office, it’s not with a bill, but with a patient “goody” bag (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss).  If you have misgivings or qualms about your current dentist (the last practice I was with felt like a used car dealership), I would give New Leaf Dentistry a try.  It’s casual and comfortable and definitely offers relief from the usual dental anxiety.

I went to Dr. Tran after having a crazy experience with a different dentist. I am so blessed I discovered her! I had to have my old fillings replaced from amalgam to composite and She literally did the most amazing job. I highly recommend her for all your dental needs. She makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Dr. Tran is beyond amazing!  Not only is she extremely talented and professional at her job in terms of the services and advice provided, she has the ability to put one at complete ease will all procedures.  She’s warm, sincere and such a nice person!  I have never loved a dentist and felt so good at my appointments till now.  It doesn’t get much better than this and I count my lucky stars I found a gem of a dentist.  Thank you Dr. Tran!  Don’t ever stop being a dentist or else I wouldn’t know what to do…

Me happy to go to this dentist….I initially saw Dr. Tran at the end of December for a routine exam and cleaning. I made an appointment with her based on her reviews here on Yelp. If you want exceptional dental care from really personable staff, come here. Dr. Tran and her staff are professional, caring, informative, and safe. Maritza was just awesome about answering my endless dental estimate questions & concerns. This past monday I went back to get a filling & have two current metal fillings changed to white composites. They were so efficient in doing their great work..They are awesome and I had a lot of fun laughing with them. That’s right….laughing at the dentist’s office….what?!?! I will definitely come back here….especially since I still eat sugar like it’s going out of style….

Dr. Tran is amazing!  I originally went to her for a 2nd opinion.  She was so warm, sweet & welcoming that I ended up switching to her practice and having all my work done by her.  She was also able to suggest a dental plan that saved me $$ (woo hoo)!  Her assistant is very sweet and does a great job.  They are always pleasant and have been on time for every one of my appointments.  Highly recommend!

Dr. Tran is to my family a dental angel. I had been referred to a children’s dentist in Vista for my kids dental needs and I put the address in my GPS and ended up at a private school’s headquarters in Encinitas. With two young daughters ages 5 & 8 in the car for our half hour adventure that led to a dead end, I was determined to get to a dentist appointment,  any dentist appointment. My 8 year old shouted out “Mom! Family Dentist across the street!” We drove over, went into New Leaf Dentistry, talked to the most kind Maritza who scheduled us an appointment and from that day on we have only experienced the best customer service,  attention to detail and calm understanding from Dr Tran and her team.  Her assistant is also top notch and has 4 kids of her own so their care of your kids is impeccable. Both my girls love Dr. Tran and this is after all of us having some scary dentist visits haunting our past so it says a lot. After seeing how comfortable my girls were with Dr. Tran, I decided to set my own first appointment which went so well and we are now trying to convince my husband to come in for a visit,  ha! Don’t want to go on too long but Dr. Tran herself is a beautiful and caring person who somehow has kept the personal touch alive in a modern world full of high tech and fast paced doctor visits. We love Dr. Tran! 🙂
