Dr. Lu’s practice is amazing! All the staff is professional and so kind. There’s no waiting time and as soon as you enter the office you are received by efficient and wonderful staff. The office is new and so well organized! Dr. Lu is very knowleagable, great with people and has a gentle hand. I was so impressed by our experience in every way. BTW the staff is also bilingual which was important for my dad as his english is limited. I highly recommend Dr. Lu.

I Love Dr. Lu and his staff ! They are all very friendly and not in a fake sort of way ! Dr. Lu is very trustworthy in that he won’t do a procedure without fully researching the problem first or without trying to cure the problem with other options before moving on to major work. I have had a problem with one tooth off and on for a little while and Dr. Lu says “It MAY need a root canal but let’s try other options first”. I like that he is not quick to jump straight to the worst case scenario first (just for the money) and is willing to show you other options instead !!! He truly does care about the patients health. He has even called me, personally, to check on my progress after I have left his office. I have recommended Dr. Lu and his staff to the rest of my family because of his attitude and consideration for ME !!! Thank you Dr. Lu for showing me, there ARE good people in the world !!

I’d like to first highlight the superb patient care this office offers. The patient care I received began as soon as I made my new patient appointment on the phone with Sandy. I recently got a new dental plan and Sandy retrieved my benefits in a timely manner in order to schedule me in as soon as possible. Once in office, I always appreciate how Monica checks in with me and my overall well-being before taking a look into the dental work I’ll be needing. Dr. Lu who performed a thorough examination also answered every single questioned I had regarding my current and future dental health (i.e. braces, wisdom teeth removal, and teeth whitening). Lastly, I want to highly recommend the hygienist, Sharon. I am very particular/detailed about my (6 m.) cleanings and if you are too, Sharon is the hygienist for you. Thank you for providing excellent care. I always look forward to being in the office. Go figure – dental appointments are actually relaxing and not scary at all!

It is so hard to find a good dentist and I’m happy that I found Dr. Lu! Why this office is awesome: -He’s really nice and doesn’t pressure you to get extra unnecessary things done with scare tactics (many dentists do unfortunately). -The hygienists are gentle and remember (or at least they keep track) of what your preferences are -Stays within my insurance plan and informs me of what it offers (I have yet to pay out of pocket) -Front office staff is friendly and tries to accommodate my schedule (why is that so hard for so many?!) -Plenty of parking and a clean/new/comfortable office space Highly recommended!

Dr. Lu and his staff are amazing. My experience here from start to finish was so pleasant. Sandy, the office manager was super sweet and welcoming. Kacy, my hygenist took her time and was very informative. She explained the proper ways to maintain good oral hygiene and tips on how to clean/floss around my permanent retainers. After she was done, Dr. Lu did an examination. As I expected, I had some issues going on. I had to remove my old, big, filling that was breaking down and get a crown. He thorougly explained all my options and the pros/cons. He was flexible and worked with me to quickly schedule my next appointment. Dr. Lu was gentle and the whole procedure was painless. He communicated with me throughout the procedure so I was aware of what was going on. He did a great job matching the color of my crown to the rest of my teeth and took his time to adjust the crown to make sure that it wouldnt cause any pain or sensitivity. I will be definitely recommending Dr. Lu to my family and friends.

Right before the July 4th holiday, one of my permanent caps fell out. Sucking air was sensitive. Drinking cold water made it even worse! I knew the Dr. Lu’s dental office was closing for a long holiday weekend. Nevertheless, I left a call on the answering machine after the tooth fell out Thursday night. I had no expectation for a response. On Friday morning, however, the ever efficient Sandy called and said she was playing catch up in the office. She would try reaching Dr. Lu for advice. At best, I thought he would suggest a temporary glue. Sandy called the second time to tell me Dr. Lu was running errands and could swing by the office at 10:30 am to glue my tooth in. Could I make it to the office?! YOU BETTER BELIEVE I COULD! I have a suspicion Dr. Lu may not have had an errand which makes me a million per cent even more appreciative to go out of his way before the road trip to take take care of my problem. Dr. Lu, I hope you and your wife enjoyed sharing your first 4th of July outing with your new baby girl. I enjoyed myself over the holidays, entirely thanks to you. Dr. Lu really helped me out with a new crown that went bad and ended up as an implant. The new crown was done by another dentist. When the pain became intolerable and I didn’t know what to do, Dr. Lu gave me a complimentary consultation and second opinion. When it became evident that I would need an implant, Dr. Lu’s enthusiasm and experience with implants brought me back to have him extract the problem molar. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Jeffrey Lu graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. He shares the practice philosophy that learning should never end, and as such, has continued his dental education by regularly participating in continuing education and professional development courses. He has participated in Implant, Sinus Augmentation, and Orthodontic seminars. In 2009, Dr. Lu was selected to participate in a series of intensive Cosmetic Dentistry courses from the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Lu is certified and trained in Invisalign, Laser Dentistry, and Implant placement/restoration. He is a recent and active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Originally from Chicago, Dr. Lu has found his dream “home” in sunny California. He enjoys being outdoors, discovering new hiking trails, and relaxing at the beach. He is an avid sports fan and has recently uncovered a new talent in grilling.
