Dr. Steve has been my dentist since I was 17 years old and I can without a doubt that he is the best dentist around. I have a a filling on one of my front teeth that chips every couple of months, as you can imagine this is a large inconvenience since it is a front tooth. Dr. Steve always manages to fix my tooth and make it look better than it did prior to the chip. My tooth one time chipped while Dr. Mantinaos was out of town, I tried another local dentist in the area and left the office in tears at how terrible my tooth looked and felt. NEVER AGAIN. Dr. Mantinaos is the ONLY dentist for me and I recommend him to EVERYONE.

I consider this dentist the Men In Black of dentists. I say this because they have the best of the best of the best. The staff are the all time best AND the nicest staff EVER of all dentists I’ve been to and they absolutely care for their patients and they make me feel like family. I absolutely LOVE this dentist and his staff. Kudos to all and PLEASE keep up the amazing work.

This is one of the most innovative practices with a dentist who has extraordinary skill, expertise, and a awesome personality to match. I loyally come to Dr. Matinaos with my children for 6 years despite the many other dentists that are closer in proximity. The office is modern equipped with entertainment and music. It is a perfect combination for both adults and children. Whether you need a general check up or more in depth procedure, this is the best place to come.

I have been dealing with an ill fitting crown and TMJ for several years. I have been to quite a few dentists, and thankfully I finally found Dr Mantinaos! Not only is he an excellent doctor; he is above all a great and empathetic person. I am so happy with the work he has done, and he is now my favorite dentist. He has helped me get relief for my TMJ, outlining and speaking with me regarding a treatment plan, and what his goals for us would be. My bite is better and my mouth has finally got the relief it needs! I highly recommend him.

Dr Steve is my favorite dentist by far. He is very caring about his patients comfort and every step of the process is discussed. I am not a fan of visiting the dentist at all but the pleasant staff at Into White Dental makes it a breeze and always a pain free experience. I would recommend Dr Steve to all looking for a new Dentist. Keep up the good work!

Great dentist.  The staff and Dr. Mantinaos at Into White will not give you attitude, and will provide effective and high-quality dentistry. I also appreciate that Dr. Mantinaos explains everything he does to your teeth all the time, and you really know everything that is happening all the time, what needs to be done, why and how.  Obviously going to the dentist isn’t anyone’s favorite activity, but there you will get excellent service to maintain healthy teeth. Highly recommended, whether you need a checkup or you are having some problem with your teeth.

Visited again today, first visit in a year or so. It doesnt get better than this place. Beautifully decorated and equipped offices – very human scale – everything fresh and squeaky clean. Dr. Steve is just the best – with him, it’s all about you and your comfort and taking care of you the right way. Going to the neighborhood is fun too, just two short blocks from Vernon Ave # 7 stop – cute neighborhood – interesting looking restaurants, coffee shop, etc. – probably a good place to go for brunch on a weekend. Again, nothing not to like about the neighborhood, or the Dentist. Just the very best there is.

I needed a new dentist after moving to Long Island City. Into White was covered by my insurance and just around the corner so I decided to give him a try. I have gone to Dr. Steve Mantinaos three times so far, twice for cleaning and once for replacement of a filling. Every time has been excellent. In fact, this was the third time that the filling was replaced and Dr. Mantinaos said that if done right by the other dentists I shouldn’t need to have it replaced. His repair was the most thorough and best looking of all the prior repairs. I don’t think this one will need to be replaced for a long time if at all. In addition, the office is clean, comfortable, well maintained, professionally staffed. I highly recommend Into White and Dr. Mantinaos.

Dr. Mantinaos is wonderful. He is warm, kind, patient and caring. He went out of his way to make my extractions as painless an experience as possible. He is knowledgeable and answers any and all questions. My extractions took at least an hour longer than we anticipated, and he took his time regardless. He never rushed and was more concerned about my comfort than his schedule. His office is new, and he uses all brand new state of the art equipment. He is a highly skilled dentist, and he has the best personality. I cannot recommend him enough.

BEST DENTIST EVER. Look you guys, I am a freak about the dentist. If I experience any kind of tooth pain or ANYTHING, I have to know what is happening. They always fit me in even if it’s last minute. The cleaning is always top notch, and Dr. Mantinaos is super awesome, kind, and knowledgable. I’m the type that will literally ask every single question and need every detail and he doesn’t mind answering. 🙂 He makes going to the dentist fun! I can’t even believe I just typed that, but it’s true. I always leave there so happy and thankful I have such an amazing dentist!!!!! I can’t say enough good things. So if you are searching for a dentist, LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!

I can not say enough about Dr. Mantinaos, his phenomenal staff and his state of the art office. He is a very skilled dentist with a gentle hand and a warm demeanor. I unfortunately had to have an extraction recently and he made it the best experience possible…no pain during the procedure and none after.  He truly cares about his patients and I consider myself beyond lucky to have a dentist like him.

I just left the office and could not wait a minute longer to tell of the wonderful experience I just had at this facility. Staring with the staff, the look of the place, and meeting the best dentist in the world has changed my life. I procrastinated for such a long time on fixing my teeth and was ashamed of what my teeth looked like. It took a bad experience with another dentist to bring me to Dr. Steve. My wife is a patient of his for awhile and raved about him! As soon as I met him there was a calming demeanor about him. I trusted him. He had a plan for me and I was so relieved. Sometimes it takes a bad experience to bring you to the right place. Dr. Steve is the right dentist and Into White is the right place. I highly recommend them!!

Dr. Steve is an exceptional dentist who pays attention to detail. He takes the time to setup a game plan with you (the patient) before the work starts and explains every procedure he’s doing. He does great work and puts you at ease. Dr. Steve has a good spirit and bedside manner but balances it with the right level of professionalism/seriousness. All the office staff are polite, professional and friendly. No complaints!

Dr. Steve Mantinaos is a brilliant dentist with a warm & calm demeanor. I’ve been Dr. Mantinaos patient for 9 years. I met Dr. Mantinaos in 2007 when he worked at a practice in Manhattan and I followed him to another practice in midtown Manhattan. Because I knew that I was in the best care with Dr. Mantinaos. When I received the news that Dr. Mantinaos was to open his own practice at Long Island City, NY. I was not going to commute to Long Island City from the Lower East Side. The commute is out of my way. But I knew that I would not find a great doctor like Dr. Mantinaos. So I decided that I had to give a try and travel to Long Island City in knowing Dr. Mantinaso and the excellent service that I have received from previously procedures. You see I’ve had many dental procedures, from tooth implants and two tooth extractions, bone grafting and all the procedure have been with little pain. Thanks to the skill hands of the doctor. The dental technicians to the staff at the front desk are very helpful & personal. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Mantinaos. I had procrastinated seeing a dentist for many problems I knew I had because of previous unpleasant experiences with dentists. Finally, I had to give in and someone from work recommended me to see Dr. Mantinaos. I would give him 10 stars if I had the option to. He is kind, gentle, and the best dentist I have ever had. His equipment is high tech and immaculate. I’m not surprised that everyone on yelp has given him a 5 star so far. You should go, you won’t regret it!! He is also reasonably priced.

If anyone would tell me that extraction of a tooth can be painless I would never believe it – unless you come to the office of Dr. Mantinaos. When I come in for an emergency extraction I was expecting very painful visit. Instead Dr. Mantinaos was very gentle and very efficient. His warm personality help me calm my nerves. His swift numbing process was painless and in few minutes the scary procedure was done. I still cannot believe that I did not feel any pain! I must add that it was difficult extraction and he made it look like a simple one. I can’t stop talking to all of my friends and bragging about painless dentist visit! Also Dr. Mantinaos staff is very polite, warm and kind. I felt welcome when I come in for a visit.

I’m a recent transplant to the city and had to find a new practice after having a nightmare tooth situation (literally a piece of my tooth fell OUT) and saw Into White Dental Arts PLLC online, called them – not only was the reception kind and courteous, they worked to get me the quickest appointment possible. After fixing the initial problem I ended up having to have a few other things fixed. Each subsequent appointment was painless, efficient and and an overall wonderful experience. Dr.Steve and his team are the first dentist I have ever LIKED going to! It’s like being taken care of by family, everyone is warm and receptive. I would recommend to anyone!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mantinaos for several years and have always had a positive experience.  The front desk staff is kind and personable, the office is clean and well-maintained with a super comfy red leather couch, you get to pick your own music to listen to during your time in the chair, and Dr. Mantinaos is personable, knowledgable and really gentle with that scraper!  I never dread going to the dentist, and know I’m getting good care.
