Dr. Kim did an amazing job extracting all 4 of my wisdom teeth. I felt no pain at all and was scared that after leaving I would feel pain before I could get my prescription filled but the numbing lasted for almost an hour and a half! Plenty of time to get home, take some medicine, and get some ice packs. The staff was super friendly and very professional and answered any and all questions I had prior to my surgery. The front office lady Sandra was very sweet to me and helped calm my nerves before being brought to the back, the assistant Brianna was sweet enough to get me a blanket and help pick out a show while I got sedated, and Dr Kim went over the whole procedure one last time and what to expect before putting me under. I would highly recommend anyone coming here for themselves or their families to get any dental work done. I usually have bad anxiety before going to see a dentist but this was by far the best experience I’ve had. Also want to add how clean the office was. Everything was wiped down with sanitation wipes, the chairs, the hoses, even the tv remote! All the staff wore masks, face shields, gloves, and surgery gowns! Made me feel very safe considering COVID-19.

The first night guard was not a good fit, and the team here was more than happy to have a few appointments to try and fix it, when we saw it wasn’t going to change they went ahead and got a new guard for me ordered which worked great! Shout out to dr Kim and his team for a job well done. I hadn’t been to a dentist in a few years because I hated how much it costs and I felt like every time I went to a dentist I had a 1000 problems wrong. Last dentist I went to said I needed 5-6 fillings which was surprising considering I have very good oral Health. I never ended up going back to that dentist to get the fillings. And then I come here and I’m told I only had 3 very small ones. I hate when dentists try to push unnecessary treatment on patients that don’t need it. Dr Kim was very honest and even showed me and the assistant the small cavities in my teeth as they worked on me. 10/10 would recommend coming to an honest dentist like Dr Kim. I was offered the same day appointment when I called and there was virtually no wait time before I was seen by Dr. Kim. I went in to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I was led back immediately and the staff made sure I felt ready and comfortable about the procedure. I was previously given options on sedation/local anesthesia, and I decided to get sedated since I was very much nervous about the whole thing. Dr. Kim put on a movie for me, but I think I watched about 5 seconds of it before I got knocked out. Everything was over and done with when I woke up, and almost a whole day later, my bleeding has stopped as promised and I’m experiencing absolute minimal pain. It was a breeze!

Dr. Shaun (Sung) Kim’s comprehensive dental practice is located in North Frisco. For the past years, he has performed and benefited many patients with the broad spectrum of dentistry. Utilizing latest technology and minimal invasive concept, Dr. Shaun Kim is dedicated to providing excellent dental care to his patients at North Frisco.
