Because of my studies and work, I have lived in several states around the country — from Florida to California — and in each area I have kept up with the family tradition of maintaining healthy teeth through regular checkups and cleanings and, when needed, major procedures. This valuable routine allowed me to evaluate the work of some professionals, leading me to the unequivocal conclusion that Pure Smiles Orthodontics is by far the best dental service I’ve ever experienced. The Austin-based office has been treating me with respect and given me an excellent, virtually painless service, a noticeable departure from other providers. It has been a joy to be under their skilled hands. The staff is simply outstanding, starting with Dr. Silvana Gonzalez (or Dr. G as some of her fellow-workers and even clients call her). She is straightforward, articulate, has a very good ear for patients, and her customers feel wanted and appreciated. In an easy to understand language, she explains the available options and will not cut any corners, even if that means losing the patient. Dr. G understands that not everyone can afford dental treatment, so she’ll do anything and everything within her power to adjust to the person’s finances. Under any scenario, she spares no effort in giving patients the best possible care. The rest of the staff is as equally outstanding and professional as Dr. Silvana Gonzalez. They all follow her lead, creating a good rapport and a trustworthy atmosphere with clients. Overall, I would highly recommend Pure Smiles to anyone searching for a good looking smile. I am going through my second set of braces, and my teeth and face feel and look phenomenal. Thanks Dr. G!!

Pure Smiles Orthodontist blew my mind away with there above and beyond customer service, As soon as I walked in the door I was greated by friendly staff. Dr. Gonzalez, and Sherri are both amazing, Sherri gave me all the info I needed to know. Made me feel so welcome, and took me through the process step by step, Dr. Gonzalez was truly concerned about me and did not look at me like a dollar sign. I will be bringing my family back to them as well and would highly refer anyone to come and see Dr. Gonzalez and Sherri at Pure Smiles Orthodontist. Thanks guys for being so great!!!

This office is the Best in Austin!!! From the super sweet office staff/ortho assistants to the caring, thoughtful Dr. Gonzalez. She has an incredible attention to detail. I have had 3 children in braces here and I also had my own braces from this office as well. She makes sure you are happy with your smile!! They are flexible and work with you financially and with appointments. They are always doing something for their patients, a contest or movie showing. I have never seen a more kind or generous doctors office… I am so happy with my smile, I literally smile all of the time and am very happy with my firstborns smile as well. My other two are still in braces but i can already see how great they are going to both look. Thank you so much!!!! I recommend your office to anyone who will listen.

Dr. Gonzalez is clearly an expert and the all the office and support personnel are as well. The facilities are welcoming and pristine and they work to put you in the best braces for the individual instead of the most expensive option available, a truly wonderful thing. My son gave Dr. Gonzalez two thumbs up after she took care of a couple of problematic baby teeth for him so he could get his braces started during the summer. He has issues with going to the dentist so this is extremely high praise. Honesty, expert care, and a lovely, welcoming space, what more can you want?

Dr. G and her staff are great! They explain the procedures and your plan clearly and I always leave with a good sense of my progress and what to expect going forward. Importantly, I never have to wait long in the lobby for my appointment. They are also very responsive to calls and I’ve never waited more than 24 hours to hear back from them to reschedule. If I’ve called early enough, I usually hear back the same day. The lobby is nice and clean with plenty of toys for kids. Just a really professional practice that I would recommend to anyone.

LOVE this place! From the first time we did the consultation to the putting on of braces (which was yesterday) they were amazing. They just redid their payment structuring that made it so much easier to get braces on my daughter. My insurance paid $1000.00 and then I just needed to put $100.00 down and payments over 36 months. I love that the staff is puro latino and speak in espanol y ingles! My daughter from the start trusted them and they walked her through every step of putting her braces on. They give you a wonderful kit to have with wax, bracket cleaner, toothpaste, mouth wash and more! I would highly recommend this place if your thinking about getting braces 🙂 … I will be apart of this place for the next three years of my life and totally ok with it.

I joined my friend to her dental appointment and it was a great experience very nice and clean office friendly staff and Dr. Gonzalez was amazing, the male assistant that was working on her braces was very attentive and knowledgeable aside from having a great personality thought he was a huge asset to the practice. He told me Dr. Gonzalez would surely help me with my smile as well, talked me into going in for a consultation and will be back to get my braces. Can’t wait I appreciate the time in reducing my anxiety and motivating me to have a perfect smile with such a great Dr. and professional assistant.

Everyone’s so careful and reassuring. When I used to go to the dentist, it seemed scary. They were impatient and somewhat agitated. However, in Pure Smiles you’ll meet the most patient and sweet people. Dr. Gonzalez knows what to do, and when you’re feeling anxious, she’ll assure you that everything is okay, you are in good hands. And we indeed are. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a supposedly scary place. Pure Smiles feels like home and home is where we should be. Also, the braces don’t hurt quite as much. They’re careful about how they put the wires and such. I would say more about braces and the place, but I think I said what’s already on my mind. Pure Smiles is a 10/10.

We absolutely love this place! They are all so friendly, the place is really clean and they interact really well with their patients and parents. Today is my sons birthday and he got extra points that go toward rewards and they surprised him with a gourmet cupcake when he left!! We are so thankful for them. We travel for every appointment from Pflugerville to South Austin because we feel at home there.

When I was looking for an orthodontist, my dentist office recommended Pure Smiles. I went in for a consultation and liked them so much I ended up getting my braces that very day. The staff is so willing to help and answer questions and do what they can to make the experience a great one. Dr. G was the best. She helped me through not only my braces but also a difficult personal time and I truly count her as a friend! I will recommend Pure Smiles to anyone that tells me they need an orthodontist! My experience was easier than I expected and at my age (50’s) I really wasn’t excited about going into braces!

I did my research with multiple orthodonist before deciding where to get my braces from and I decided to go with Dr. Gonzalez because she was really maticulus when explaining the process and procedure. It’s been 12 month since I had my braces and my teeth are looking great. Every time I go in for my appointments Dr. Gonzalez makes sure to explain whats the next step of my treatment and ensures that all my questions are answer. I highly encourage Dr. Gonzalez if you are planing on getting braces she is a perfectionist and if you are looking for amazing results Dr. Gonzalez will ensure you get the smile you are looking for. I am extremlly content with my results up to now and can’t wait for the end results. I will make sure I write another review when my treatment is finish.

If you need braces this is the place to go! I don’t even know where to begin on how great they are. To start off the waiting area is always nice and clean, always decorated for the holidays. If you’d like water or coffee theres some available. A room for the kids to entertain themselves with games while waiting. That’s even if you’re waiting because once you check in it only seems less than 10 minutes before you’re being seen. The staff here is amazing, they’re kind, knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and just overall professional. If you have a concern, something is bothering you, or have any questions they will help you. Another cool thing about this place is they have events that go on to help the community. There’s really so much to this place you have to check it out. You will be glad you did! 5+ Stars!!

As an oral health care provider myself, I could not think of a better office to recommend for your orthodontic needs. Nothing but high praises for Pure Smiles! I was treated so well from day one and have been coming here for almost two years. I am 32 years old and I came in for Invisalign treatment and just recently finished up. I felt a little uncomfortable getting braces as an adult but my worries were put to rest when I met Dr. Gonzalez. I really feel like Dr. Gonzalez and her staff genuinely care about their clients. The facility is great and very clean with state of the art equipment. Dr. Gonzalez and her staff are very gentle and caring when working. They take the time to make sure I am as comfortable as can be while being worked on. I now have a smile I am proud of thanks to the beautiful ladies of Pure Smiles.

This a review from my daughter who is a Pure Smiles customer: Pure Smiles Orthodontist is the best place to get braces because of many reasons. One of the reasons is that you are not treated like any other customer, but you are treated like a person that the orthodontist really cares about so you immediately feel like you are in good hands, and truthfully you are. Always receive you with a smile. Another reason is that they use a new system called the Damon system, which are braces that are a little smaller, more comfortable, and quicker. You can definitely tell that their number one priority is to help you and make you happy, and it does not look like they are there for the money but for your good. They treat you really quickly. Ex: when one of my braces broke I just called and they fixed it the next day, I didn’t even have to make an appointment. The prices are really reasonable, and for the people that are waiting they have coffee, PlayStation Portable, kids coloring table, treats, drinks and a TV. I definitely recommend it to everyone

We have been thoroughly pleased with my daughter’s treatment at Pure Smiles and would recommend them to anyone. We chose Pure Smiles for several reasons… (1) The staff is very attentive, friendly, caring and professional. Dr. Gonzalez, Holly and the rest of the staff are top-notch. (2) Since we were a transfer patient after moving to Austin from out of town, we needed an orthodontist who specialized in the Damon braces that my daughter was already wearing. The fact that Pure Smiles uses the advanced Damon System rather than traditional braces proved to us that they are experts in their field by utilizing the latest technology. (3) The price was reasonable and an excellent value for the level of service received. Final result…braces are off, she’s wearing her retainers, and her smile is beautiful! We will return when my son is ready for braces

I have been going to pure smiles since it opened just a few years ago and they have made my experience with braces so amazing. I got my braces about 4 months after my 18th birthday, as if trying to figure out how to be an 18 year old isn’t awkward enough, but coming into pure smiles and seeing everyone’s friendly face made it so much easier. Everything moved so fast and easily it made the next three years a breeze. Dr. Silvana and Holly have been there since the beginning and they are so nice, they’ve always made the experience personable and comfortable. Through out the years the rest of the staff has changed up as to be expected, but they have always chosen staff members that are friendly and easy to communicate with. Everyone is easy to work with, they easily work with your schedule and if something comes up last minute they will make sure you can get in as soon as possible. I absolutely recommend taking yourself or your children to pure smiles, they will make it worth your time!

We went in for a consultation. Prior to our appointment we received a phone call telling us what to expect when we arrived. When we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist with a friendly Hello and smile. Shortly after arriving we were greeted by Jacqueline who introduced us to the staff, took us on a tour and explained how things would work. Everyone is very friendly and the whole office is very clean and comfortable. Dr Gonzalez was warm and friendly and spoke to my daughter and thoroughly explained everything to her. Made us both feel very confident that we were making the right choice.

I have been going to Pure Smile for about a year and a half now. I love pure smile and wouldn’t want to go to any other Orthodontist. When I first came to texas I looked at all different orthodontist but I wasn’t very satisfied with any of them. But when I went to Pure Smile they made me feel welcomed. The staff there is wonder they welcomed me with smiles and made me laugh. Dr. Gonzales is one of the best orthodontist she walked me through the whole process of having braces and answered any of the questions that I had. Pure smile can schedule you in to fit you schedule perfectly. I absolutely love Pure Smile and I highly recommended them.

My son had a complicated orthodontic situation, and I got 6 evaluations and opinions over several months as each orthodontist had very different opinions ranging from immediately undergoing oral surgery to extract permanent teeth to waiting a couple of years and hoping some complications became easier to fix. We ultimately chose Pure Smiles because Dr. Gonzalez had the plan that was most reasonable and because she uses the Damon system which, after extensive research, I am convinced is the best orthodontic system. I highly recommend Dr. Gonzalez at Pure Smiles. She is very experienced, extremely knowledgeable, and quite personable!

My daughter and I are in love with the work Dr. Gonzalez is doing. When we visited the office for the first time, D. Gonzalez did a complete evaluation of my daughter. She explained step by step how the process was going to be done. Since then, we had started my daughter on a retainer and we have seeing the changes right away. We are very pleased!. My daughter loves to go to see her and follows her directions very well. The office is well run, everything is well organized. The staff is friendly. The location is great. Appointments are easy to make and very flexible. Oh! I almost forgot … she even offers free custom made mouth guards for the children!!. I am so glad we found her!!.She is fantastic!.

I was at a point of not trying another Ortho Office after visiting 6 different ones and was told braces were not possible for my teeth; but while reading reviews on yelp I ran across Pure Smiles and was excited to see all the positive reviews so I said what the heck I’ll give it a try. Let me start off with Brittney was phenomenal as I was sending her emails for several days on questions I had and she responded promptly and thoroughly. That left an amazing first impression for me. When I got there for my consultation I felt welcomed immediately. Again seeing the receptionist smiles and sitting down with Brittney for my plan of action was comfortable and also The financial options that were provided. Dr. G was very friendly and personable during my consultation and I have been back as I broke a bracket already.
