We recently sought a second opinion from Dr. Kimi on a cross bite issue my 8 yr old had. From the moment we entered the office to the conclusion of our visit, it was a positive experience for me and my child. She even asked when she could return! Dr. Kimi was kind, knowledgeable and immediately made us both feel at ease. In addition, her prices are very reasonable

My son was born with a tongue tie that made breastfeeding so difficult for the both of us and so painful for me! We brought him in at 2 and a half weeks old and being new first time parents we were super nervous for any procedure this early on. Dr Kimi was awesome and explained everything and the procedure only took about 10 minutes! Everything was worlds easier after that and we both had a better relationship with breastfeeding!  Thank you dr kimi! We can’t wait to come back after he starts growing teeth!

My daughter’s (21 months old) first dentist appointment could not have gone better. Dr. Kimi first met with us in her office, similar to a Naturopath appointment, to get to know us and our family dental history and daily habits. She was very informative, holistically minded, and answered all of my questions. I have a degree in Nutrition, which I did not disclose, and it was a breath of fresh air to hear so much of her passion for the nutrition aspect of dental health and explanation of the nutrients that are critical to a developing mouth. The entire office is inviting yet modern, and the front waiting area has a for real treehouse sans tree. I also left with the cutest little mug-shot-style Polaroid photo of my daughter holding a sign that read, “First Dental Visit.” It’s a keeper. We will happily be coming here every six months as long as we live in the South Bay

Very friendly and quick to schedule an appointment. Very professional and caring, they were able to save my 2 year old from losing 6 teeth by using SDF treatments. Recommended!

My kids just had their first dental visit today, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Sandy was very friendly and welcoming and the office is beautiful. The kids had ample time to play and get comfortable before Dr. Kimi got to work. They loved the little wood fort in the front of the office, as well as the plant wall and swing. What a fun place for kids! Once the Dr. and hygienist were ready to take us back we went into a room where the Dr. tested the kids’ ph levels and took her time to provide nutritional counseling and make product and dietary recommendations. She was super sweet and informative. All the while, the kids were happily playing with toys and playing with Chip the therapy dog. Once it was time for the kids to get into the chair Chip was right there with them. He was super gentle with the kids and was a welcome comfort. Dr. Kimi did a great job at keeping our kids’ interest and was able to complete an exam and cleaning despite their squirmy behavior. The tv on the ceiling was a great touch! Once our appointments were completed they gave the kids bubble wands and me a welcome bag. They also had a cute little ‘First Dental Visit’ sign for the kids to take photos with. They really thought of everything! I never thought that I would be excited about taking our kids to the dentist, but I can’t wait for their next appointment! Thanks Dr. Kimi, Jennifer, and Sandy for a wonderful first dental experience!

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Dr. Kimi and her entire office! We took our 2-month old to her because we were informed he had a tongue-tie and wanted to remove it via laser frenectomy. After a quick tour of the office and consult with Dr. Kimi, she identified that our baby not only had a tongue tie, but he also has a lip tie and buccal ties on each side. She was able to remove all four ties for the price of one. Not only that, but she also gave us her personal cell number and followed up with us later in the day to see how our baby was doing. She was extremely knowledgable and willing to answer all our questions and made the overall process extremely easy and as pain-free as possible. Highly recommended!

I wish I was a kid again and could have Dr. Kimi as my dentist! I never thought going to the dentist could be such a good experience for a child. This place is exactly what you DON’T think of a dentist office: Fun, nurturing, full of personality. Plus, they really believe in preventive care, which is a rare thing to find sometimes. My kids came back home and were already asking when they where coming back and what is best, the came back with different oral higiene techniques to practice at home. If you are in the market for a dentist, or not happy with the want yo have, I would give this place a try.

Absolutely amazing! One of the best experiences I have had in a very long time. Everything is centered around the child and making sure you are having a wonderful experience. I have a toddler who is moving fast and into absolutely everything, and everyone there supported me in allowing her to move freely without making her or me feel badly. They have the most updated equipment and are extremely knowledgeable. They also make the dental exam so easy, my kid had no clue she was at the dentist. I can’t say enough good things about our experience here

Wow! What a great experience for my son. Dr. Kimi was very nice and patient with my son. She took the time to get to know him and his health history. In addition, she gave me tips on how to care for his teeth and vitamins she recommends. The office is very kid friendly and impeccably clean. The receptionist (sorry forgot her name) was very friendly as well. I’m happy I took my son here. I definitely recommend this place

We are very happy with the time spent with us and the communication in the treatment our kids received. We also got exercises to do to help our jaw grow properly and great nutrition advice. I highly recommend Pure Smiles!!
